my attribution is not senseless. Its a fact that most people can not take the advise they give when they are faced with same situation for which they advise others. That being said Many Nigerian would stay back if the basic thing needed are available. Take for example, reduced burdens on the doctors by employment of more doctors. Increase their pay. Make it worth the risk associated with the job. Improve on the condition of service. This probably should cut across all sections of not just the health profession but all sector at large. Most importantly, greatly reduce the high rate of institutional corruption .

what you fail to understand is that they are not just going because of the money. By world standard, the ration of a doctor to patient is suppose to be 1:600. But in Nigeria here, the ratio as stated is 1:3500. Condition of service is far better than what dey get in Nigeria. Condition of service is not just about how much. Its far more that that. In Nigeria here, they lack the necessary equipment to effectively do your job. Abeg the matter plenty. When u are doing a job and not being appreciated, it demoralises someone. So the attitude of the doctors is normal. You can only discipline a worker only when all he needs to function effectively is provided and he still fvcks up

Doctors who are exposed to various kind of diseases, virus and germs on a daily basis are not duly compensated as compared to politicians who just go there and sit. Doctors hazard allowance is 5k per month but hardship allowance of politicians is in the hundreds of thousand if not million per month. So when you compare do that intelligence.

With the training and money spent on the afghan soldiers no one expected them to fall like a pack of card so easily. They were expected to be able to defend themselves at least for a long while. Governor Samuel Ortom has few political principles. We can see this from the fact that he has changed political party five times during his undistinguished career.

Every time he feels the wind may be blowing in a certain direction, he follows it.

Unfortunately, for the good citizens of Benue State, the most dangerous direction he blows in today is that of sectarianism and ethnicity.

In an attempt to boost his sinking political fortunes, Ortom takes the cheapest and lowest route possible by playing on ethnic themes – and in doing so knowingly causes deaths of innocent Nigerians by inciting farmers against herders, and Christians against Muslims.

Specifically, Ortom stirs up hatred by targeting one single ethnic group in Nigeria – using language reminiscent of the Rwandan genocide.

As was the case in Rwanda where the then Hutu leaders of the country incited their countrymen against each other, claiming there was a “secret Tutsi agenda” over the Hutu, Ortom claims there is a “secret Fulanization agenda” over other ethnic groups in his state and in Nigeria. This is a copy of the language of Hutu Power - which falsely, and intentionally, accused the Rwandan Tutsi of plans to dominate the country.

This wicked talk is aimed at giving cover to his so-called “policy” on the Ranches Establishment Law – which in reality is purely an act of denial of the law - intended to withhold rights and freedoms from one ethnic group alone, whilst inciting race hatred against them amongst all others.

These are not the actions of a man who should be trusted with running public services or holding public office.

For the governor of a major state in Nigeria to be politically driven by ethnic hatred is a stain on our country.

The good, and fair-minded people of Benue State deserve more than this, and we look forward to the next elections when they have an opportunity to restore its greatness.

Middlemen and retailers hike the retail price to whatever considering the expenses they incur like store rent, security, labor, dues to the government, and others. Considering that DCP claims they haven't increase price of ex factory cost since December 2019, we have to look toward the retailers for the incessant increase of the price of cement within the country.

Late last year, a bag is sold at ₦3,500. And after the public outcry, it dropped to ₦3,000. It was sold around 2018 at ₦2600.

Cement is sold in warri axis of delta state between 4200 and 4500 bros. You can call anyone you know to confirm for you. So please stop this your talks. Yes we know middle men has a part to play in all this but then the problem is not entirely their fault.

It beats me to see that our pastors, choose the ones that profits them keep silent on others. They pick tithe being paid to the church and leave out how the bible says tithes should be used. They pick the part which condem dunkiness, and leave out where Jesus him self spoke of his drinking. They leave out the practice of blood sacrifice and choose money sacrifice. From the scriptures stated, one can drink but should be done outside the temple. Also one should not drink while coming or entering the temple. As stated also, you can not pick one and leave the other since that will be hypocritical of you. Why leave out the shaving of hair then decide to feel on the drinking aspect. Also so we are also commanded in Deuteronomy (14:26) to use part of our tithe in buying strong drinks. So if that is the case, you call God who gave the commandment to have made a mistake. Also apart from the fact Jesus turned water into wine, he also drank wine. That was why he was called a drunkard (Matthew 11:18-19). So pls do not use the bible to justify your opinion. Teach the bible as it is. Remember it is a sin to add or subtract to what the bible says
