Hello guys if you can't pay your tuition for first year complete, what will happen?
I heard there are organisations that lend loan to international students. How true is it and how does it work.
Because my tuition/expenses is almost 30k
So I will know if I will defer to spring.

teddyrain: I said something here about my secret to success. Someone pm's me and he starts asking me "what's the name of your school?" "How old are you?" "What course?" Blah blah. I answer him the questions, then I ask him his date and he is like "forget my date, tell me your secret"

That's selfishness. You do not want to let out your date to the open, but you virtually want to know everything about me.
If he really wanted to keep it a secret, he would have said it in a polite manner and we would even laugh over it and proceed. Let me stop here for now.

Now to those criticizing and judging me, please understand before judging. I have been a helper all my life in every little way I could. I feel peoples pain and rejoice with people who succeed. Ask Amerinancy how many text message I sent her to encourage her before her interview. She never told me her date, but she was appreciative. I would call her and ask her how good she was doing with her rehearsals and I was doing all these genuinely out of my natural love for people.
Now let's ask goldenchic who I have never met in my whole life, but just at the embassy. When she came out and announced to me she was approved, I ran to her and happily hugged her right in front of my dad. Yes my dad. If I start mentioning all I have been concerned about their welfare without knowing a dime about them, then this should be an e-book.

Wait a minute! Idazbawz who are you to judge me? You were the same person I left my house to come to your residence. We practiced together, I encouraged you and we prayed together at your bus stop concerning your interview before I left.
You were denied. I was the first to call you and ask how it went. I felt real bad when I heard the ill fated news about your denial. I encouraged you and told you it was not the end of the world. I went on the 14th of April and was denied too. I was heartbroken. God later did it for you. You went and conquered. I was so happy I even used it to compose a poem. Later I called you and inquired of Troy university, you told me I would need about 11k to send documents. I told you I didn't have such money. You said "well that's the way forward" later I did it myself and the only money I spent was for my WAEC scratch card. Later I was having some issues and would ping you on BBM to ask questions at times, you would answer or choose to answer after days. Like a candle stick you went off! You stopped replying me. I would send you multiple bulk messages yet you won't reply. You never called again up till today. You never asked of me even here on nairaland.
You felt you now had your visa so I was inferior to you. You thought America was only reserved for you. But you thought falsely, God has done it for me. I will keep being the loving, caring and comic teddy I used to be.

Oh! Salvino what a friend, what a brother he always stood by me up till now. We met at the embassy, he was approved and I was denied. He shared his testimony on this thread, and everyone congratulated him. He personally took my pin before traveling to oklahoma for his Msc. He never stopped messaging me, he never stopped spending his hard earned money to call me while in the states. His encouragement was awesome.
He never felt too big even though he was a masters student, and also in the US. He kept on being a brother, a friend from another mother, another tribe (yoruba). He motivated me to succeed. He told me it was not the end of the fight.
Today here am I with the crown.

Sweet man Walspring I really admire you with so much interest. You have been there for me. Walspring who I have never met in person would spend his air time up to 17mins speaking to me. Encouraging me and telling me the necessary things to do. He was there for me, even though most times he also laughed at me and criticized me, but he was a real friend. He is rare that's why he will never fail in life because, those good he has been doing he will always reap.
Here I am today with the crown. These men are included in my history, they have earned my trust and respect. May God bless them, amen.

No man is perfect. Yes I copied sulie breaks work. Its a crime in the states, and I want to use this opportunity to tender my apology to all those who lost faith in me, those who believed in me and got disappointed, I'm sorry.

I'm still a poet, a singer and a loyal lovable person and will always be. I love everyone here, I bear no grudges. If this would be my last day on Nairaland, I would gladly quit in happiness. I'm fulfilled. All you guys on these thread are awesome. Beautiful people.

But in chris brown's voice, please don't judge me.

Slimmy, just know that every denial is a blessing in disguise. I knew how I felt when I got denied last April.
See let me say the truth to you. It does not matter what you say or not say, when its time for your success dem no born any VO well to deny you.
I went to the embassy yesterday without statement of account, yet I was not asked for it.
The VO never allowed me to explain anything, to the extent that he said "why did you choose a liberal arts college" and like say I use juju he now said "forget don't worry, just go and sit down while I recall you". And on me coming back he handed me my pick up letter.
Even when I was talking he was not interested in what I was saying, like "I'm here to give you your visa but just blab, let it seem like an interview".
Immediately after I was interviewed the whole network went bad, but after my own has already been recorded for approved visas.
Till now I'm still wondering what happened because everything was smooth and exceptional. I was at the back of the large mammoth crowd but how I overtook and became the first to be interviewed and issued a visa, is still a mystery. God did it for me.

I know I did something extraordinary from what others do spiritually, I have a secret to tell of how it looked like jazz.
If anyone cares to know, contact me I will tell you for free. (For christians only)

Slimmy it is well. Your next try is final.
Thanks idazbawz. I'm planning to leave by early August with either Delta or British airways.
To all who wished me well before and after, may God reward you all according to your hearts.
Amen.
Amerinancy have you booked yet, let's travel together. I will be coming to your place on Friday. I hope no dogs? shocked

Thanks to every one who have celebrated with me God bless you all.

Please future applicants, I would like to give you guys some tips

1. Be positive (when you get to the counter, smile and greet them)

2.Look into their eyes while talking (please don't do it like a competetion oh! Just look into their eye, pause for 4 seconds before answering. think before you talk, please don't let anxiety make you talk before yo think)

3.Please be audible

4.Please don't memorize answers ( pick out your points and explain them naturally, you will be tense free.)
For example, if your school is one of the best in a particular program, know about that program and explain like if a friend asked you. Just be natural, it really helped me, when he threw that dart at me "Now you are giving me memorized answers" I still composed myself and because I knew about the school too well to memorize, I wasn't off guard.

5.Don't sound like a robot (even if you crammed a particular critical answer, try to make it look like its not.

6.Be calm (don't argue)

7.Don't bring out documents when not asked except cases where its critical, but use them as a supporting proof)

8.Say the truth (or at least make it sound convincing and in order not to screw it up, don't even lie)

9.My trick ( I actually have a baby face lol! But please use body language properly. If you are talking and explaining something open your palms, it shows you are truthful and have nothing to hide. Please smile, speak louder and act confident but not too much, they re humans too and understand we can be a bit nervous too)

10.Be calm positive and attentive

All the best. but before all these can work make sure you have insured yourself to God first.

I have some spiritual formulars to help you get your visa. Contact me and I will give you 3 mind blowing techniques for sure visa, if you are a christian.

Chapter 1
I want to use this medium to praise God almighty for this marvelous thing he has done for me. It is not enough to express my gratitude in words but just to praise him and serve him with all my life.

I could remember actually posting "Visa approved transcript coming soon" but guys, the truth is that as at then I have not actually gotten my visa, but claiming by faith.
My visa interview is the sweetest nairaland has ever read. I call it "Divine appointment"
I will never forget yesterday being sunday 20th july, 2014. As I approached into the church auditorium of the Redeemed church of God which I visited, not the church I go, the pastor said "there is a particular person here people have ridiculed you but God said I should tell you that tomorrow you will smile" I quickly stood up and shouted a thunderous Amen! Which made the whole church turn and was like WTF! But I knew what I was doing. I kept on professing faith, claiming I have gotten my visa.

Chapter 1
It was blissful this early morning at exactly 2:45am as I woke up, as I was scheduled for 6:30am. I have been claiming Gods promises and confessing I have my visa, while looking in the mirror as I dressed up in just a simple while shirt. My dad said "hey boy I know you aint a kid but I'm going to the embassy with you this time. They must give you that visa" I smiled and said its okay. And we left.

Chapter 2

We got to the embassy around 5:10am and saw some few people already there. I plugged in earphones into my ear and started playing cecee winans and then "fighting temptation" then frank edwards.
In no less time they started making announcements about immigrants and non immigrants, Amerinancy called me on phone and I asked her which school and to my awe, she was going to my school too in illinois. I then asked her where she was and she said on the way for 9am I wished her luck and I quickly gave my dad my phone and marched forward. I was the fourth person to be cleared, while others being novice were looking 4 stapler to pin their documents. As an experienced guy denied while hunting 4 a CC on the 14th of April this year, I knew all the procedures and I even removed my belt before even sitting down.
They came to the first row and picked five of us, including one indian guy applying for f1 from Nigeria.
We moved into the embassy proper and we got to the "remove belt etc" and because my belt was out already, I just dropped it together with my documents and moved over the search machine and sharply picked up my belt sharply and wore it back, while other guys were busy claiming fine boy wearing belt LoL!
I maneuvered the two guys before me and I became second to step into the consulate arena. I pressed the "A" button and picked No A002. Went in, submitted documents and also did bio-metrics, then sat down for interview proper, while other were coming in.
While waiting, I looked back and saw a lady carrying "Liberty admission packet" I then remembered that "Goldenchic" once asked a question and also posted a pre transcript stating it as one of the best christian school.
I then said excuse me miss, are you a nairalander? And she said yes. We exchanged pleasantries and she told me slimmy is one handsome slim boy and I told him to message him that "if I catch am eh" LMAO!
Just as we were speaking my number flashed on the screen. What I'm about to say in the next chapter, will put I you in awe. When God wants to give you favour even the consular or any gadget there will obey you.

Chapter 3
This is so sweet to be an interview
As my number popped up at window 5, I moved there and a young man in his mid thirties was there

VO: why do you want to go monmouth college?

Me: asides from being ranked as one of the best liberal art colleges by USnews and best in midwest by Princeton reviews, this college has one of the best accounting programs of any liberal art college...... VO Cuts in

VO: now you are giving me a memorized speech. What made you choose this college?

Me: one advantage about this college is that you are allowed to double major...... VO cuts in

VO: why did you change school?

Me: well I was denied last time....VO cuts in

VO: yea I Can see that here.

Me: can I continue?

VO: sure

Me: I changed school because the VO adviced me to because the CC was not really good and then I was a novice then but now I have done a proper research and I have chosen the best school that suits me.

VO: I can see you are on scholarship?

Me: yes

VO: how did you get this scholarship?

Me: the school contacted my high school, and interacted with my principal, he was also asked of a recommendation letter, also I wrote a personal essay and they reviewed my transcripts

VO: can I see your WAEC?

ME: (passes it to him)

VO: (looking at it like say shit dey inside and then uses a blue light to check the authenticity) okay do you have your scholarship letter?

ME: yes (passes it)

VO: (glances through) okay who is sponsoring you?

ME: my father

VO: what does he do?

ME: He is a successful businessman into ********* and also a marketer and distributor of ********

VO: OH! I see. You have been volunteering?

ME: yea

VO: why have you not been in school since 2009 you finished

ME: (forms emotional face) well I have always wanted to study in US to get the best education but after high school my dad had a financial challenge which made me unable to attend college, but in order to still keep my dreams alive I decided to work as a volunteer worker in vogues studio, a recording studio where I worked in the marketing department. After I left there and I have been working in bleep ent Nig LtD to enhance my knowledge in business.

VO: oh! Good

The shake able miracle then happened.
Immediately after interviewing me, their network tripped off.
Goldenchic can testify to this. I was then told to go and sit down while he verifies something (na lie him use that opportunity wey light trip off go chop. na hungry dey catch am and I catch am with a cup of coffee dey laugh with him colleagues)

Me: (my heart started shaking and I was like "so as network go off them go start all over interview me)

Goldenchic told me to calm down that I should not shake

20 mins later they resumed and my number popped up, only for the guy to say those golden words "you will need this pick up letter to get your visa bla bla bla, and returned my i20 and said I will need it at the point of entry and then said good luck safe journey to the states. I was like person wey win jackpot. It was then I sighted Amerinancy sitting down waiting to be interviewed chai that babe tall come fine oh!
I want to give God all the glory because its his marvelous doing (never asked of statement, never asked of standardized test the only document I brought out was WAEC and my scholarship letter and he never even allowed me to explain myself before always cutting in. He was like "oboy I have been sent to give you visa no need for long talks"

Thank you guy nairalanders are wonderful @Walspring who would call me to advice and encourage me, I say a big thanks God bless you.

And to all going soon @walspring, slimmy, etc may God make your transcript sweeter than mine IJN amen.

Make I go studio joor go release album LMFAO!
