Christianity Etc17th Ramadan-7 Facts About The Battle Of Badr by tee83(op): 4:28pm On Jun 12, 2017
Greatest Battle in in History of Islam. This battle took place on the17th Ramadan 2AH. Below are 7 facts about the battle of Badr.

1-It took Place on the 17th Ramadan 2AH: Muslims were oppressed for over ten years and then Allah gave them permission to defend themselves. They had seen family killed, children starved and their wealth stolen. They boycotted for years and were persecuted and driven out from their homes. So, Allah instructed them to defend themselves and to protect the religion of Allah.

2- 313 Believers Vs 1000 Disbelievers: The Muslims army only had 313 soldiers. They possessed 70 camels and 2 horses. Many carried sticks and stones. The disbelievers had over 1000 soldiers. They possessed 170 camels and 100 horses. All of them were equipped. Numbers meant nothing. It was a battle of souls verses bodies. Inner power verses outer strength.

3-It was a Night of Supplications: The Prophet spent the whole night crying and making du’a for the army to be given victory. It was a night like no other. He said, “O Allah, if this small army is defeated, no one will worship You upon the earth ever again! His precious tears wouldn’t stop flowing.

4-It was a day of Ultimate Sacrifice and Courage: The Sahaba made their chests and their necks shields for the beloved. They gave up their lives to defend him on that day. They gazed at his beauty and said, “If you ordered us then we would jump into the oceans with our horses with no hesitation!

5-Allah sent down Angels to Badr:
Remember when you said to the believers,” Is it not sufficient that your Lord should reinforce you with 3000 angels sent down…Surah al-Imran verse 124- The angels wore golden turbans on that day and rode while horse. They were seen giving help to the lovers of the Messager.

6-The people of Badr are the greatest of this Ummah:
Our Lord looked at the people of Badr and said,” O people of Badr, do what you wish after this day! Surely, Allah has forgiven you! (Bukhari and Muslim)

7-Allah gave the Muslim Victory: Surely, Allah gave you victory in Badr whilst you were few. Fear Allah so that you may be grateful. Surah al-Imran verse 123.

FamilyThe Dangerous Texting Slang All Parents Should Know by tee83(op): 9:07pm On Jun 10, 2017
Communicating via text can be incredibly convenient, but it can also be used as a tool by kids to hide things from their parents. For kids, certain phrases and emojis carry hidden meanings that parents may not know. Even if you think you’re clued in to your child’s conversation, these acronyms and slang terms may make you think twice.

In light of the fact that June is Internet Safety Month, it’s important that parents know what children are talking about among themselves — something that Titania Jordan of Bark, a service that flags cyberbullying, sexting, and signs of depression in teens’s texts, is entirely tuned into. As chief parent officer at the monitoring service, Jordan has found herself learning more about the conversations of young people than most would ever expect.

From her perch at Bark, which allows parents to plug in children’s accounts and have them monitored for certain slang, she has seen everything from inappropriate conversations to suicidal thoughts expressed between children. And while the meanings uncovered from secret chats may be startling, the process to prevent these hidden conversations is easier than expected.

“I would really emphasize the first step of having a conversation,” she tells Yahoo Beauty. “Having an open and honest dialogue about what’s going on in your child’s tech world is the most important thing that you can do.”

Christianity Etc5 Islamic Habits Of Highly Successful Muslims by tee83(op): 7:46pm On Jun 09, 2017
As-salam alaykum

So today, I would like to share five habits of ultra-successful people:
1-Wake up early: Successful people absolutely wake up early because the earlier they begin the day, the more they will have to get thing accomplished. Remember, the early bird gets the worm, and it follows of course that early birds will also get a good night’s sleep. If you find it really difficult to rise, get a super annoying alarm clock that literally forces you out of bed. And also, put your alarm across the room. If its right next to you, you are going to hit the snooze button, so put it on the other side of the room, so you will have to literally get up or jump off the bed to turn it off.

2-Read a lot: Everything you read fills your head with new bits and bits of information. And you never know when these bits and bits might come in handy. The more knowledge you have, the better equipped you are to tackle any challenge you will ever have to face and the more you read, the more words you gain exposure to. And they will inevitably make their way into your everyday vocabulary. Being articulate and well-spoken is of great help, it is an asset in any profession.
When you read a book, you have to remember an assortment of characters, their backgrounds, ambitions, history, as well as the various arcs and subplots that weave their way through any story. That’s a lot to remember but our brains are marvellous things and can remember these things with relative ease amazingly enough, every new memory you create forces new brain pathways and strengthens existing ones which assists in short-term memory recall. There isn’t necessary a defined length as to how much time you should be reading or spend reading but forming a daily reading habit will expand your knowledge and help you on your journey to success, In Sha Allah.

3-Make your health a priority: Healthy habits, such as eating well, exercising and avoiding harmful substances make sense but did you ever stop of think about why you practice them? A healthy habit is any behaviour that benefit your physical, mental and emotional health. These habits improve your overall wellbeing and they make you feel so good. Healthy habits are hard to develop and often require changing your mindset. But if you are willing to make sacrifices to better your health, the impact can be far reaching, regardless of your age, sex or physical ability.

4-Don’t get distracted by what other people are doing: Other’s journey to success can be inspiring. Yes, we can learn so much from their mistakes, their victories, what to do, what not to do. But the minute you start comparing your progress to theirs instead of using their stories as inspiration, you can start to feel jealous, stressed and unworthy inferiority complex. We all do it, compare ourselves to other, may be more successful people without seeing what others around you have achieved. How else would you know what’s possible, right? I mean, how else would you know what you can do right? But as we progress in our careers, that bench mark effect can actually lead one to professional jealousy, which can hamper our own success and lead to unnecessary stress if we let it build up and not address it. So, it’s important to acknowledge jealous feeling, because the time and energy one expends worrying about what others are doing could and should be put into building our own careers and lives. Successful people realise that their journey is unique and cannot be compared. Therefore, they invest in themselves by keeping themselves on their goals like a horse with blinders on, having only the finish line in its sight.

5-Keep Reminding Yourself that Your Time is Finite and Limited: This will result in you having each day of yours as your last and working hard day in and day out towards realising your dreams and leaving behind a legacy where you literally become a legend, Success includes a journey that is taken one lesson at a time, improved and refined, improved and refined. Successful people move onward and forward in life by forcing their next challenge and life lesson that about wraps today’s video, So having said all of the above, let’s use these 5 habits as a starting place, somewhere to start, to build whatever a successful life means to us In Sha Allah.

Today, 29,May, 2017, he ordered the students of UI to vacate the hotels and locked down the school.

If a petty issue like not providing ID CARD to students is still making a University like UI to be locked down. I can say Nigeria is not moving forward’
