That post links to my dad's travel agency. Would you ask your dad for help to travel with your boyfriend? I stated earlier, I work with an estate firm. It's okay if you no longer want to help. Thanks. |
FrontPageLawyer:I am not a visa agent o! In fact I have been reading this thread since morning trying to get information about my visa application! Like I stated earlier he runs a construction business and makes roughly 5 million in a spread of 3 months. My documents: Letter from employer Bank statement (is this necessary?) Hotel booking confirmation Travel booking confirmation Completed visa application forms His: Letter of sponsorship Bank statement Is this okay? |
justwise:Errr what are you talking about? |
FrontPageLawyer and Justwise thank you! Any other heads up before I start this journey? |
FrontPageLawyer:Thank you, I was hoping that the company stating I have a contract with them would be a good tie. I plan to apply in November, would be 4 moths into the internship. And are you saying it is not a good idea to travel with my partner? I felt his travel history may be of help to me. |

Good afternoon all, I recently graduated and got an internship job for a year at a top estate firm in Nigeria. I'm 2 months into the internship, I only receive stipends (my point is I have little to nothing in my account) I would like to travel to UK with my boyfriend. This would be my first time, he has worked and schooled in UK some years back, he presently holds a 5 years visa. He would be my sponsor and would provide all documents and bank statements needed, we would book an hotel. He is financially capable to sponsor us both. We plan to be there for 10 days. I would get a letter of leave from my office and any other document I need from them. All my family members are here in Nigeria. So, do I meet up with the requirements for a general visitor's visa? Please respond, thanks. |

paulbets:Most likely NSTA, but I have to check out what their buses look like first. |
Hi guys! Stream 2 coming from Lagos, hope we can all go together. |
Good day everyone, This is my situation. I am a final year student from University of Lagos, my convocation ceremony is on March 27 - 30, 2015. I will start my NYSC on May 5, 2015. I am in the process of applying for a B-2 tourist visa, I have all the necessary documents and my father is my sponsor. The documents include my passport, print out, dad's bank statement, c of o of our house, family picture, family chart, print out of nysc timetable, letter from school etc However, -the person inviting me is an international student - I travelled to Dubai and Ghana 2 years ago - my sponsors bank statement is that of his business. -I will like to travel on April 1 for 30 days Is my NYSC enough to show that I will be back after my short holiday? I also have 4 siblings and both parents here in Nigeria. I'm just concerned because I have read that the interviewer doesn't ask for documents which I feel would show my strong ties. Can you please advise me accordingly. Thank you. |
