moshuur:I think Ori mixed with etu ibon and ampicillin.. ask those women, they know better. |
MadKid: MadKid:I don't totally agree with this post. There are also people who have had A's since primary school all through secondary school but didn't graduate with first class. There's nothing wrong in an average or below average student reading very hard to get a first class.. examination provides a level playing field for brilliant and dull students to prove there worth. it'll be very rare to see someone who graduated with a first class in his field forget things he learnt as an undergraduate, he'll at least have ideas about it. first class no be beans abeg. nobody bribes his/her to make first class. even 4.5 isn't easy, it implies very few C's and many A's. first class people are first class materials. it requires a whole lot of dedication.. we aren't talking of second class upper (which also requires dedication). So Sir.. First class isn't and shouldn't be exclusively reserved for those with high IQ.. |
Like I've always said.. If at all my kids will attend any public university in Nigeria, it will be university of Ibadan. Just Negodu.. A piggery is neater than this shithole.. Looks like a dumpsite.. Even the rooms without the debris sef look like a cheap ashawo joint.. People can live anywhere.. #spits ![]() |
I hope the op doesn't get disappointed if the over hyped neo-medrol doesn't work.. bought it thrice despite the price.. it didn't work shii.. the pimples I had was as bad as this if not worse.. I used almost all what was prescribed here.. funny enough.. what worked is cheap. I used Ori mixed with tetracycline and one other black stuff I bought from a local herb seller (elewe omo).. it cleared everything including spots.. just forget all these chemicals and go natural. |
I don't get.. Why read on the road when u can comfortably read in ur room Why sleep on the road when u can comfortably sleep at home Who even reads in this kind of condition? Is this the norm in other schools? Ayam not understanding. |
Bros.. You said you're prepared to die over this issue... You're prepared to die over a woman that has labelled u her "ex".. Chai.

bolabolabo:It's impossible for someone admitted in 2011 to have his matric number start with 19.. I was admitted in 2015 and my matric number starts with 18. This certificate looks fake. |
Op relax... I have been there trust me... I can relate.. The anxiety and everything.. The probs is that the anxiety would continue till she sees her next period.. And u'll use every single day thinking on whether u actually released or not Relax.. There's nothing, I assure u.. ![]() But.. Next time.. Use protection. |

KINGwax007: ![]() I initially saw this post and thought it was a waste of time replying u.. not until I checked tonight and saw u already edited it. hope u know that "fight" there was in quote.. well I doubt if u know what it means. mapoly graduate ![]() Hope u also know that "fight" in this context can also be used figuratively. must everything be explained to u? heck! I almost forgot, u are a mapoly product. ![]() Advice: Don't bother replying.. it'll be a waste of time. Ciao ![]() |

KINGwax007:Lol @ being pained ![]() Oga anybody that has a Msc degree would tell u his/her PhD is in view.. Most poly lecturers hold a master degree. I'm not disputing the fact that there are PhD holders in ur school. where I had my ND, there are also PhD holders there but they are countable. And what's the eff about being in a good mood? U want to 'fight' with a faceless person online? Nna mhen.. I don't do that shii. And @ bolded. You need not tell us.. I don't have anything against 'food guys' tho. |
KINGwax007:I think this is a grossly exaggerated. The same mapoly that I know? @topic this is not feasible. The same has been said about kadpoly, ibadanpoly and yabatech in the past. Besides, the state has two state universities already. |
Gagaboy1212:Mr Gagaboy1212 sorry on ur inability to get admitted into the university of Ibadan this year. I understand ur outburst, some of us have been there. The difference is our perseverance and our ability to pick ourselves up (after falling) and going after what we thought was ours. As regards the supplementary list, I think the released list contained both the merit and the supplementary list. The list contained about 3500 names if I'm correct. That is way above what a merit list. The admission quota of UI is 3500 I think. So don't give urself this erroneous belief that a supplementary list is coming out. You should start thinking of ways to get admission for yourself next year, instead of making empty threats about hacking ui database.. |
neurosci:2015 best wassce candidates. Two of them are in UI. https://www.naij.com/1076846-these-3-candidates-wassce-prizes.html 2013 best wassce candidates.. Two of them are in ui also. https://www.students.com.ng/overall-best-wassce-students-2013/ |
moshark06:Mr moshark06.. U could have given ur opinion without having to spit nonsense about other institutions... The op asked about where brainy students are found most, common sense should have given u the answer. And he didn't say anything about rating students based on the school he/she attends. Abi? Seriously, why the hate? 19 century syllabus, dilapidated buildings bla bla bla .. Yet, Check ur VCs, check ur lecturers, check those that are in charge of the administration of ur school (if u're in any) and see if they haven't passed through these schools whether at their undergraduate or postgraduate level.. Old glory indeed. Besides, where did u read or hear that students from these schools don't write Ican, Acca and other professional examinations? Huh? Nuff said.. I don't engage in this type of argument, 'cos I believe the education system of Nigeria as a whole is in a deep mess. But I don't tolerate bullshits when I see one. #drops_mic |
Some comments on this thread show how the deteriorating level of education has badly affected the reasoning of some people.. Or perhaps, the economic hardship is having its toll on them.. Hungry fellows venting thier frustrations online.. @op check admission requirements for various schools.. But I think with this result, he should be able to study economics. I'm not sure tho. |
Make me sef no carry last.. ![]()

MadCow1:Please do us all the favour of telling us the university you went to.. ![]() Yeah, I know we'll still use google to inquire about the whereabout of the school.. But just tell us.. Don't avoid this question please... ![]() |
Collaboration between Nigeria and Germany is underway for the construction of off-grid solar power plants for the University of Ibadan and the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. The groundbreaking ceremony for the solar power plants is to take place before the end of next month in Ibadan, Oyo State. While playing host to German Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Michael Zenner, Education Minister, Malam Adamu Adamu, hinted that the University of Ibadan and Ahmadu Bello University solar power plants would serve as pilot projects. If successful, the project would be replicated in all other federal universities in the country. Represented by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, Adamu promised to render all necessary assistance to ensure the success of the projects. Zenner, who was accompanied on the visit by the Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Professor Idowu Olayinka, told the minister that the projects would not only provide electricity to the university community, but will also facilitate the training of young engineers on renewable energy technology. Zenner pointed out that “the project is very important because the university will become independent from other power sources, the money saved can be used for research, etc.”He remarked that there has been an energy partnership between Germany and Nigeria since 2008. http://m.guardian.ng/features/education/ui-abu-to-get-off-grid-solar-power-plants/ |
Are they still generating power? Really? Can't remember the last time I had light here.. Power supply has gone from bad to worse.. ![]() |
What's with all these news about Unn being the best university in Nigeria... Una wan steal am. ![]() Even on webometrics website, you are not among the top 5 http://www.webometrics.info/en/Africa/nigeria Now check the only university in Nigeria that made it among the world 800 http://m.mgafrica.com/article/2015-10-01-3-african-universities-make-it-into-top-200-world-university-rankings I believe the mods should dump this thread on the refuse container that it should be. And stop disgracing Nigeria. ![]() |
Damn! Protest everywhere.. But, they shouldn't have destroyed anything. |
benedima1990:yeah, I saw the cgpa.. He had 3 As, 1b, 2 Cs and 2 Ds which put him on a cgpa of 3.53. I don't think there's any error in the computation of the result. Which makes me think the 'Cs' in front of the course units probably means Core.. |
@ all saying the result isn't correct.. Maybe the 'Cs' there mean Core, and the 'E' means elective. |
You shouldn't be caught taking pix.
Got this on Twitter.
