The Lagos state police command has confirmed that Burnaboy was involved in the gun-point robbery of Mr 2kay which took place at Eko Hotel on October 22nd, just 10 days after Burna Boy sent Mr 2Kay a threat via Twitter DM for calling him out over his tweet about beating up pastors.

Lagos State Police commisioner, Edgal Imohimi declared Burna Boy wanted and has publicly called on him to report to the Police Station for questioning in connection with the robbery attack of fellow singer, Mr 2kay at Eko Hotel.

MGBN 2017 winner, Queen Ugochi Ihezue just made history after she became the only model in the history of Nigeria to win the Miss World Top Model competition which booked her a place in the top 40 contestants of Miss World 2017 pageant.

Nicki Minaj’s older brother Jelani Maraj has been convicted of felony sexual assault against a child on Thursday 9th November in Long Island, New York.

Maraj faces 25 years to life in prison, according to TMZ reports, Maraj has also been convicted of endangering the welfare of a child. He is scheduled to be sentenced on December 14.

The child, who was 11 at the time of the alleged crime, was the daughter of Maraj’s then-wife Jacqueline Robinson, making her Maraj’s stepdaughter. The girl, who’s now 14, testified during the trial, as did her younger brother.

Police said they found Maraj’s semen on the girl’s pajamas, but the defense claimed the girl and her mother planted the evidence.
Maraj’s lawyer also claimed the mother and daughter tried to shake down Maraj and his high-profile sister for $25 million.

Looks like the party with Mavin Records is over for newly signed Iyanya, following a dispute between Iyanya and Mavin boss Don Jazzy.

Iyanya released a new single "IYANU" which clearly do not have Mavin Logo on it, the production credit didn't go to any Mavin producer but rather carried the logo of his new management "The Temple Management Company".

Before now, all Iyanya's songs has released under Mavin records, even his ‘Signature‘ EP carried the Mavin logo, but currently, even the singer’s Instagram bio doesn't have any connection with Mavin Records.

Bobrisky who got arrested yesterday night in Lekki, Lagos State has spoken exclusively to source (LIB) for the first time since the news of his arrest.

He revealed that serial entrepreneur Toyin Lawani was the one who called for his arrest stating that she accused him of stealing his customers.

"Toyin Lawani asked her lawyer to write petitions against me that I worked for her and I'm selling cream to all her customers. Which was a fat lie. I never worked for Toyin. She was my friend. I can't remember ever working for Toyin or learning how to make cream from her.

Then she also said I threatened her. So we are going to Abuja cos that was where the case was reported. Before she wrote petitions against me, she had already threatened me that she is giving me 7 days to go to the internet and apologize to her which I said no way because she offended me. I think because I refused to apologize, she got the police involved".

Speaking about what happened at the police station yesterday, Bobrisky said his phones were taken from him and he was told that he needed to wait until morning in order to go to Abuja.

"Yesterday at the police station, I was sitting at the counter and I was told I needed to wait until morning to go to Abuja. My phone was taken from me so I couldn't talk to anyone. I'm trying to get in touch with my lawyer and all the people I know".

Looks like someone's PA lied last night or clearly doesn't have a clue of what boss Toyin Lawani is up too.

Monday 6th November was a terrible day for popular singer Meek Mill, as he was sentenced to 2 to 4 years in prison for violating his probation.

A judge in Philadelphia ruled against the rapper in the case, saying that Meek’s arrests for reckless driving in New York and an alleged altercation at St Loui International Airport were sufficient violations of his probation, which stems from a 2008 drug and weapons conviction. In 2016, he avoided jail time for a violation and instead served out the sentence on house arrest.

Following the spread of the sad news of Meek’s sentencing on social media, Twitter’s been filled with all types of reactions. Some have chosen to ridicule the rap star while others are expressing sadness and frustration with Meek’s circumstances.

The Bayelsa State Commissioner of Police Asuquo today paraded 36 males and 30 females between the ages of 14 to 17 years at the state command for being in possession of illegal substances suspected to be Indian hemp.

He stated that the Command wouldn't press any charges against them but said they will be counselled and handed over back to their parents.

The Commissioner of Police lamented that there were firearms in the possession of some of individuals, he said that the command also rescued a 3-year-old girl Samantha Pepple who was kidnapped from Port Harcourt and brought to Southern Ijaw in Bayelsa state.

The culprit Godspower Ayakpo male 28 years was arrested with the help of Bayelsa and Rivers state serious crime units.
