According to sketchy reports, a mama put seller identified as Precoius chioma okwuadigbo, aged 35 who hails from Isinggwu ofueme village, Abia State has been shot dead by a trigger happy naval officer around the premises of Club64 Lifestyle, located at baybridge road, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

The deceased was said to have been selling her food in front of club 64 as normal early hours of Saturday morning (between 3am) until some Naval officers who to came enjoy themselves at the club and got drunk started shooting sporadically early in the morning and one of the bullets was directed at this poor lady working hard daily to feed her two kids.

According to reports, they zoomed off in their car after they realized the lady was down.

According to a post from a Facebook user, Club 64 knows them but they’re hiding their identity. He also added that there will be a protest over this by 9am today at hospital junction in the city of yenagoa.

So early this afternoon, luck ran out of two yet to be identified youngmen who went to rob a POS point in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

According to eye witness reports, the criminals drove a fine Lexus car to the POS point at Green Villa Road in Biogbolo, Yenagoa LGA in other to do what they are good at and met their unfortunate end at the same spot.

They were caught, butchered and burnt alongside the Lexus they came with.

The deceased was said to have already dressed up for church service before the incident that lead to her demise happened.

A middle aged man popularly known as Papa Ebube residing at Arita Lane Area of Yenagoa took his life by hanging in the early hours on Sunday.

According to residents in the area, Papa Ebube may have committed suicide after he lost his Bet9ja ticket that could have earned him thirty six million naira.

Documents found in his possession when the police arrived revealed that the deceased was a graduate, tricycle rider and great lover of sports whose son is expected to graduate from the Nigerian military school this year.

A Facebook user identified as Ebi Dressman, shared an incident which happened in the capital city of Bayelsa state. According to the Facebook user, a man from Nembe Local Government has fallen a victim of the current robbery attacks going on in the state.

It was alleged that attack happened as a result of a tip-off which was made by a staff of FCMB Yenagoa branch were the victim went for money transactions.

Reports has it that One Mr Ololo Okpanra had an unpleasant experience with armed robbers at the early hours of yesterday in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital.

According to his statement, he left Nembe LGA of Bayelsa state early in the morning and arrived FCMB bank located at kpansia area at about 8.20 a.m. and presented a cheque worth #2million to be cashed to the cashier.

The cashier thereafter informed him that there is no sufficient fund at that very point and asked him to wait for about 20 minutes before the money could be made available. For that very reason, he waited for about thirty minutes after which he was asked to go behind the counter to pickup the cash which was already made ready at that point.

He said, he quietly picked up the cash and went straight to his house which is about fifty meters away from the bank to pickup something before proceeding back on the journey to Nembe.

But unknown to him, he was already been trailed by these hoodlums, according to him, they first missed track of him at a point when he branched his house. Five notorious bandits causing fear and disturbing the peace of Damaga village, under Maradun local government in Zamfara State have met their unexpected end.

These five bandits identified as Dan Mairo, Abubakar, Zubiarumar, Umar and Kamal, were said to have raided the poor on several occasions, making away with cattles, farm produce and funds from innocent citizens of Zamfara State.

A Twitter user @iam_zamahni took to the platform to narrate how her neighbour’s daughter who is also a runs girl, was rejected by a native doctor after she was brought in as a sacrifice by ritual killers.

Then someone came to where they were and asked her to follow him she followed him again, on getting to the shrine they told her so sit inside a calabash, she did but nothing happened. Then the Native Doctor tied a leaf around her neck and Screamed!!! Saying they brought a corpse.
He then called her friend (the guy she went to see in Abuja) in anger the Native Doctor slapped him and asked him if he’s not serious with performing the rituals and that he has 48hrs to provide someone or he’ll run mad. That she (my neighbours daughter)
She has been used previously and that she’s not worth anything, and anyone who comes in contact with her sexually also carries the same curse, and that’s how it’ll be till eternity. He then called some people to throw her away. They came and carried her away.

According to her, they dropped her in the middle of the road, with the intention that a trailer or truck will drive by and crush her to death. But luckily for her the driver saw her in the middle of the road naked n stopped. He took off his shirt nd covered her, moved her from the road n drove off.
According to her she was just by the road seeing people passing by but she couldn’t say a word, they probably thought she was MAD. So a relative from same village who knows her father saw her there and called her dad, that he saw her daughter sitting by the road looking Mad
And the Dad was shocked cos they’ve been trying to reach her on phone and her room mates in school don’t know her whereabout. They found her somewhere in ogun state and she came home this morning.
Her parents are making preparations to take her back to ijebu to trace where and who used her for Rituals. Imagine having a beautiful face and nothing good is coming your way cos nobody is seeing you, someone made you a walking corpse cos you’re desperately in love with money.

The victim in the alleged rape trial of Chief Perekeme Kpodo A. K. A Perryrich, a previous Security Adviser to former Bayelsa State Governor, Timipre Sylva, has testified before the Bayelsa High Court, giving distinctive details of how she was sexually assaulted by her boss (Kpodo).

The 26-year-old Teke Blessing on Friday affirmed alongside her uncle and a medical doctor who analyzed her on June 21, 2018, a day after she was professedly manhandled sexually.

In her declaration at the court, the casualty said that she was welcomed by the charged (her manager) to his office in the inn around 8pm on the pivotal day where he bolted the entryways and compellingly overwhelmed her and assaulted her.

She said Kpodo had undermined her that he was the brain behind the Famou Tangbe (a loathsome security equip’ under ex-senator Sylva) and exhorted her to respect his interest to her greatest advantage.

The victim, who portrayed her experience under the watchful eye of the court, separated in tears and in this manner constrained the judge to suspend the hearing twice to empower her to recapture self-control.

She said that the accused person had been making indecent sexual advances towards her before the incident. The victim stated:

“I was employed as a cashier by Kpodo, the owner of the hotel. Whenever I went to submit cash to him, he usually touched me. I did not like the way he used to touch me. So, I reported it to the employment agency that helped me secure the job, and they advised me to talk to him to stop it.

Bayelsa State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a suspected cult leader and armed robber, identified as Mr. Prince Owei.

The suspect Owei, an indigene of Ikebiri community of Southern Ijaw but resident in Ovom, Yenagoa, is said to be the killer of James Onuh, a member of National Youth Service Corps in Obele area of Yenagoa, the state capital, in 2016 amongst other notorious crimes.

It was learnt that Owei is the second in command of a notorious cult group, the Icelanders.

The suspect’s victim (Onuh), who was a graduate of the Federal University of Agriculture, Markurdi, Benue State, was then attached to the Bayelsa State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure for his primary assignment.

Onuh was shot dead at Obele junction in Yenagoa while using the Automated Teller Machine in 2016.

It was also gathered that the suspect, was arrested by the special tactical team of the State Police Command following an order of the State Commissioner of Police, Austin Iwar.

The state’s police spokesman, DSP Asinim Butswat, said the suspect was arrested at the Samson Siasia Sports Complex, Yenagoa, on his way to watch a football match.

“The Bayelsa State Command has arrested a notorious cult leader/ armed robbery suspect terrorizing Yenagoa metropolis.
On 20th September, 2018, at about 1610hours, operatives arrested a notorious cult leader and an robber who was on the wanted list of Bayelsa State Police Command.
The suspect one Prince Owei ‘m’ aka Big Fela 19 years, from Ikibiri Community, but resident at St. Peters, Ovom, was arrested at the Sports Complex, Yenagoa, on his way to watch a football match and a locally made Revolver Pistol,one live cartridge and packets of Rohypnol tablets were recovered from him.
The suspect, a jailbird and a confessed member of Icelanders cult group will be charged to court when investigations are concluded.
The Command is determine to ensure the safety of lives and properties and is appealing to members of the public to provide useful information that will assist the Police in fighting crime in the State.
