[quote author=joyblinks post=32944025]Honestly, I wonder how some people reason. If your salary is being delayed every month and you are so pained about it why not quit the job and get another ? Or go do something else. Nobody is happy that this month salary has not been paid till today but my pipo. Even the next governor can't do any magic when he comes in.[They want to conduct LGA election with money that is suppoe to be used to settle pensioners and civil servants all for still their selfish intentions and you'r here decieving yourself. If you don't know your right, everybody can not be like you, keep your opinion in your mind cos its not needed. As it is, workers are not motivated, how can the work be done effectively] |
Please CRA's own is enough, he should do and handover let's try somebody else, if God can use him to give us job, that means God can use the next person to promote us. This is just wickedness |

[quote author=muami pos: Pls educate him......we are suffering the insensitivity of our Governor......what he is forgetting is fayemi.....atleast he should have learnt from Fayemi of ekiti state, but in his characteristic way I am not surprised |
Civil servants are owed salaries and our Gov is saying he spent 1.2b for ebola in this same state we'r all in.....God is watching |
Rivers State is bleeding, Someone is sucking Rivers State dry to the detriment of it populace, all in the name of proving a point. Just learnt they'v appointed another set of people for care taker for the next 3months, while civil servants are owed salary and we are owed 7months arrears. Imagine someone that had nothing, just in 3months he has acquired so much, is that not corruption? All in the name of 1 man looking for people to join him prove a point. Nothing is working in the state anymore, infact My dear state as it is today, is the center of impunity and corruuption. Where a House of Assembly will approve money in the bedroom of the Governor for our arrears and it will be diverted to Apc. Onething they forget is, God is watching all these things they are doing |

The right thing should just be done joor. #TheyShouldPayUsOurSalary |
What is happening in rivers state is not palatable anymore, I feel its high time we rise up against this. A situation where workers will be owed salary, and there will be money for doing APC. what is today's date? PDP Issues 7 (Seven) Days Ultimatum to Amaechi to Pay Teachers’ Salaries The Rivers State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, observes with utmost dismay, and condemns in strong terms the non-payment of salaries of the newly recruited teachers in Rivers State for four months today and also regretted the inconveniences they have faced for that long without salaries, which clearly is as a result of mismanagement, poor financial planning and politicization of all sectors of Rivers economy by Governor Rotimi Amaechi. The Party therefore wishes to state that the explanation offered by the Rivers State Ministry of Education that the State government lacks funds to pay the teachers has vindicated the Party’s position that the Rivers State government is broke. The Party in a statement signed by Jerry Needam, Special Adviser on Media to the State PDP Chairman, Bro. Felix Obuah, says the Governor’s action has further confirmed that gathering the newly recruited teachers at the liberation stadium under the guise of issuing them employment letters, and later planned to use them to protest against the President of Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan has vindicated the position of the Rivers State Commissioner of Police. “In the light of the above, the PDP warns Governor Rotimi to stop playing politics with the lives and future of these innocent newly recruited teachers and also admonishes him (Amaechi) to settle down in Rivers State to face the mirage of problems he has created with a sincere determination to solving them, rather than chasing shadow in the name of All Progressives Congress, APC”. The Governor’s insensitivity to the plights of the recently engaged civil servants in the State has caused so much embarrassment to Rivers People within and outside the country. It is in this respect that the PDP as a responsible Party regrets and apologises for the choice of Amaechi as Governor of the State. In the same vein, the Party also condemns the N24, 000 basic monthly salary earmarked for each of the newly recruited teachers, stressing that such amount falls short of what is paid graduates all over, as basic salary. The party asks Governor Amaechi to without further delay regularize this anomaly and pay all these graduate teachers, what is obtainable in civil service. The Party therefore, issues a 7(seven) day ultimatum to the Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi to pay all salaries and allowances owed all newly recruited teachers in the State. Signed Jerry Needam SA, On Media to State PDP Chairman Wednesday, December 4, 2013 |
