THIS IS THE MONTH....... Welcome to the month of May.. |
@Duchez @Blockburster May you witness divine favour in the interview. Amen! Please what role are you invited for? |
Has anyone within Assistant Manager & Manager categories been contacted? I can only see those of Analyst positions here and in other platforms. |
The "start button" is not working for me. |
Please could you forward the sample past questions to my email? God Bless You!. kay_teex1@yahoo.com |
How beautiful would it be if the recruitment could be continued from where it stopped, i.e from the outcome of Restral interview stage, rather than starting all over again........ |
Did you mean towards the end of last year or some 5months ago as you earlier stated? Brosiye99 |
Thanks again, Brosiye99. Their might be some elements of truth in your write-up. Although the vacancies being referred to were 74 in number, so i wonder if the Retired Commissioners would be soooo selfish and callous to have shared everything among themselves, not minding the consequences of a probe in future by FCC....... Did you say they resumed some 5months ago? Can you recall that somebody mentioned something similar in this forum at about that time but later doused the tension by saying the jobs were not among the '74' advertised? |
Thanks for writing, Brosiye99 . So has the person you bumped into resumed or he/she is awaiting resumption? thought there was this belief that their new office needs to be ready before resumption? |
Brosiye99 , that was a strong categorical statement..... However, how reliable is your source, please? |
Isn't that a goof on the part of the APC-led Federal Government, flouting the NERC Act? |
Happy New Year to you all... Here is wishing you a prosperous and fulfilling 2016..... In a lighter mood, here is a quiz:- Who is Dr Anthony Ikenna Babatunde Akah ![]() ![]() |
Brosiye99 i could notice that you are 'keeping vigil' on the NERC Commissioners' tenure expiration and that's commendable....... However, i strongly believe that it does not have any adverse bearing on the recruitment stage reached so far. Perhaps, a BRF as Minister of Power would help to facilitate a logical conclusion to it....... |
I don't think that is necessary @Kunleezra . It might even end up being counter-productive if they consider it a 'desperate' measure..... |
@Kunleezra @Brosiye99 , you are most welcomed and appreciated. By GOD's Grace, celebration cometh for us all in 2016. AMEN!!!! |
Brosiye99 , bureaucracy is a traditional 'bottleneck' when it comes to virtually every affair in the government sector...... Perhaps, factors like budgetary allocation and action-plan for the year as well as the change in government must have played one role or the other in the delay....... |
@Brosiye99 I saw the rejoinder in their facebook page. I then asked about the recruitment in my comment. The response was that shortlisted candidates would be contacted by NERC in due course.... |
@Brosiye99 Please have you come across the rejoinder issued by NERC to refute the claims made in the Daily Trust newspaper report? |
Please consider this statement made by Dr. Sam Amadi in this excerpts you posted:- ''It is an internal vacancy announcement. The Centre for Management Development is to conduct the exam......'' Does it mean that the NERC published some new vacancies recently? |
No mention was made about what becomes of the recruitment exercise by the time the board exit in December..... |
These are the contacts in respect of the NERC sponsored current affairs programme titled ''Electricity Today'' which is aired on FRCN network service on Tuesdays at 2:30pm prompt. - 08076226771 electricitytoday247@gmail.com |
@Brosiye , are you 100per cent sure that it's actually the proposed HQ of NERC.. |
ATTENTION!. ATTENTION!.... Please tune your radio to FRCN at 7:30pm prompt today, Monday, October 12, 2015. There is a network service program and the focus tonight is on the Power Sector in Nigeria. The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Power is on the 'hot seat'....... |
I didn't pick the program on time. The presenter had already mentioned the phone number before i tuned it.... |
Point of correction, the actual broadcast time is 2:30pm on Tuesdays. I listened to the program today, it involves phone-in segment, perhaps one of us could ask question regarding the NERC recruitment one of these days........ |
A new current affairs radio broadcast programme called ''Electricity Today'' has been devised by NERC. It comes on air on FRCN network service every tuesday at 2pm prompt. The maiden edition is fixed for tomorrow, October 6, 2015....... |
@Kunleezra , you are most welcome, brother. Here are my contacts:- kay_teex1@yahoo.com 08164889029 |
@Kunleezra , the probe was on the power sector, perhaps NERC could have been involved one way or the other, especially the very first commission led by Dr. Ransome Owan between 2005 and 2010 that experienced some turbulent times...... |
An Ad-Hoc committee on Power by the Senate commenced a probe of the sector (i.e previous administration till date) since last week. |
@Kuleezra , The NIS recruitment was conducted by a Presidential Committee of the Jonathan Administration while Restral (a private consulting firm) handled that of NERC. You see the difference . Let's just be optimistic, something might come up before December 2015........ |
Brosiye99 . I understand your drift. However, i believe this is an era where government institutions are trying to minimize and block every available avenue of waste. Do you have an idea of how much NERC must have paid Restral to conduct the recruitment? If the worst comes from them, it could throw up wrong signals and negative impression and even apathy in future exercises......... |
