My first week on Uber was hell. Bad thing is there's almost always nobody to put thru. You'll have to learn the hard way,but then the lesson sticks and stays wit you.

There are strategic places you need to position yourself at. Once there, just relax. Even if it doesn't come immediately, it will come eventually. You need to identify those places at every neighborhood.

You should also know the peak periods. These are times when requests are higher. Best time to go online.

Don't worry sha, time will teach you all you need to know to join the league of 150k gang.

At the bolded, Almost everything you need to know is here, just read, digest, take notes(if it’s ok by you) & follow the instructions. You can as well pick one or two experienced ones here and ask questions. I have three mentors here, two I have met and the other, we only talk on phone, so there are people who are readily available to answer you when you give a call. You also just gave some valid points and advice but a newbie will start from page 1077 and be asking you what positioning is all about and if he/she is not answered, they start saying no one to help .

It takes a lot to read thru 100pages, but there lies answers to 80% of newbies anxiety(s).

Taxify don't just want u to eat there promo money. Once its remaining one or two rides. That's when u will be unable to pick ur request, thus, " driver no respond" ur acceptance score will reduce. I did 9 trips today as against 7 for N2,100. My driver no respond even drop my activity score. I had to close b4 8pm b4 taxify will spoil my activity score. I couldn't eat there stupid promo.

Bro, they don’t want us to chop the bonus anymore, sometimes I think they just intentionally flash a request to reduce the “finished rate”

I also did more than the expected request but 2 clients cancelled and it dropped my finished rate.

**modified** So Taxify gave me #900 rather than #1500 for completing the campaign but with a < finished rate. Thank you oooo

Some Riders will not make heaven oooo After begging your Driver to stop at an eatery with all the sweet gist, you’ll now come out with meals with nice aroma & not even a snacks to say thank you to the driver for waiting and also making your journey sweet(especially the talkatives that just wanna keep talking), not even an invite and see whether I’ll eat or not.

How possible is this? I see many accounts being blocked after the campaign & many accidents because of lack of adequate rest. Useless taxify... 100 trips in 7 days compare to last month of 10 days.

Na so i picked a saucy gurl on admiralty way and after moving like 50meters with my phone on the AC vent for her and the friend to see, I started the trip only for her to tell me I have started the trip before she entered the car, I was like WTF......I just did that now, and she said “that’s why I love Uber drivers, they’ll ask before they start” Na so I just shut up since I was Taxify ATM and I could be Uber after dropping her.

In the afternoon i was eating eba and thick okra soup, at freedom way. Only taxify app was on.... request came in. I just told rider i was close by and gauging my tyres... so i finished the food like 3 mins faster than normal...

A rider you gave one star will never cross your path again even if you are the only driver around.

It also explain your type of person to the next Driver(for those who observe). I don’t pick any request less than 4.0 at night especially on Taxify.

That’s how I use my church mind to go meet a rider after telling me that she won’t tell me until am here only for the app to fail to show me the destination until after few KM away and I saw Otta. Chai......I won’t make such mistake again.
It was the brother I took to CU. I almost dropped him on the way but I felt I’m in it already since I couldn’t cancel when I got there even with her attitude.

Did a review on taxify, they removed it because I can't explain how the review disappeared. Only for them to tell me they can't do anything since there was review at the end of the trip. You can't satisfy them. Picked a rider from Ikorodu to Alausa and she told me to be fast, few minutes later she was like "Bros, I can't travel with you oooo".
