If you will study, then four million is not enough unfortunately. 4M naira is about 6k euros, it won't pay for your school fees even. You need at least 8-10k euros for that.

I mean, its a huge money, but naira have fallen so badly that when converted to euros, it becomes so small. If you can increase it, then try. It worth working hard for.

Or you go for bachelor degree programs. They are usually cheaper. Lapland university of applied sciences have the cheapest degree program. At about 4k a year, even better if they give you a scholarship.

I can't recommend any course for you. But go to studyinfo. fi, and search for courses that you like, also use the filter botton to search better. But I'll give you a possibility of relocating without spending much.

Lab university of applied sciences just started a four year engineering bachelor program called sustainable solutions engineering. So you study the first 60 credits (out of 240 credits) online, if you perform well, then from the second year, you can study in Finland for free.

The university will assist you to come to Finland, and tuition fee will be free. The country needs people in that field, so they exempt that program from tuition payment.

You won't find the link to the program on their website (I don't know why), but drop your email and I'll send it to you, so you can apply. I got it through their newsletter, since I applied there long time ago when I was like you, trying to japa.

Goodluck mate. May God bless your hustle.[/quote]

Thanks for the pointed, we ain't ready to let him go study in any University yet, until he's 16/17, we want him to pick up few skills ( hand work and digital skills)while in the waiting.

I appreciate this your suggestion, it is an eye-opener.

I am married with 3kids, .See why I need to connect outside of this space, so I can avail you with necessary information, .

If I was in your shoes, this is how I'll approach it because at 15, I will not send my child to a foreign country to attend university. Infact I won't even allow my 15 year old to attend university yet in Nigeria.

He's still under 18 so can comfortably fit under your application. I'll suggest you apply yourself and he goes as your dependant. He's still young enough to attend grade school for a year or get into the IB program which is like A-levels or even the vocational program. He'll use that period to also learn Finnish before he turns 18 and can then attend university for free even though he'll now need to have his own permit.

In the meantime, he can write SAT. That's the only extra qualification that will aid an undergraduate application. If he scores very well, it can aid scholarship consideration in case he has to study in English. Tuition fees Vary from school to school but you can expect between €8k and €13k before scholarship or early bird discount.

You didn't mention your marital status because that will also affect these plans to some extent.

Your HND will get you a bsc. Application starts in December for a few universities but most universities start application on January 4th.

My Son just about finishing writing his waec, and we are looking at sending him to Finland, as that seems the only affordable option for an average earning parent. We initially thought of Estonia, but recent enquiries shows that we may be unable to afford their tuition.

I will like to have an idea of the turion per annum for an IT course, will his 20hours work be able to cover partially for his subsequent tuition.

Does he need to write any other exams (Gre and likes) asides Waec , he's just 15.

Also I have HND , and I am thinking if I can also better my lot though this route.

As regards making this a fulltime job, so you can be charging, don't worry 😉 he reach to charge for, sha don't charge us too much...lol

Thanks

I was online when I saw your DM prompt so you were lucky wink

I don't like engaging on nairaland issues outside nairaland beyond my nairaland mail and since I lost access to the account, that angle has been closed.

Post your inquiries here. I'll do my best to answer, my schedule permitting. Maybe I'll make this a full time job so I can start charging soon wink

Send a DM to Aproko Doctor on Twitter

Unknown8:
Hey guys, hope y'all good.

So there's this wound on my big toe, which developed by itself, just like that. I've been suffering this injury for more than a year now.

I've taken many medications and treatments, all to no avail. I've met 4 deferent doctors, who apparently do not know what that is or how to treat it, they just dress it and prescribe some medicine, and that's it.

I just discovered recently that it's an Ingrown Toenail, after some research on the internet. And according to what I read, it needs a surgery to remove the Ingrown Nail, but all the doctors I've met do not know what an Ingrown Toenail is, and they usually tell me that it doesn't need a surgery.

Guys pls, this thing is really painful. I can't even walk properly with it. If you are a doctor here who knows about this, I beg you to not ignore this post

If you have experience something like this or know someone who has, pls tell me how to treated it. Thank you so much.

It will mean a lot if this thread could reach the front page to gain more views. Pls I really need any help I can get. Thank you!
