Something is wrong somewhere, my soft copy upload transcript was done within 3days of application. The person should mail them records@unilag.edu.ng..They respond to mails.

I got admitted into same school . Please did you get the £5000 African scholarship? Also, will i be compelled to pay the tuition deposit within some time once i accept their offer? Cos i have not accepted their offer as i can only have access to the £2000 early June.

Hi, I got admission in the same school. I paid for the deposit and applied for the CAS. I also applied for the scholarship too, awaiting result in June. No, you won't be compelled to pay the 50% of the tuition fee. You can go ahead to pay the deposit to get your CAS.

Please i need to ask. I got an unconditional offer and now they told me to accept. Though its understandable that i have to pay a tuition deposit for CAS. However, do they always give deadline for such tution deposit to be paid?.... I intend getting access to fund by end of June and am skeptical that i may be given specific timeline to pay deposit once i accept, and this may not meet up to end of June. I have until October 2021 to accept offer, even though programme is also starting same month.

This madness has gone to another level, like abusing an innocent boy(minor) you cant create, like wtf.....I dont know who you are and am not gonna reply you again, but this comment reck of stupidity of the highest order...

In as much i am not really bothered. However, one thing i know from logic is that allowing a state to determine how another state interpretes its legal laws sound ridiculous. If SCOTUS allows that, then they are setting a dangerous precedent that will cause future chaos and erodes the independence & sovereignty of each state... If its a suit that involves situation where a third party (SCOTUS) need to come in to decide say for instance land disputes or likely others between two states, its fine but this sounds funny...Its just like Lagos state suing ogun state on how much they set has there budget (appropriation bill)...

What some folks on this page failed to realize is that we are not a dollar nation, we dont print dollar..There is a limited stock of dollars, which CBN manages by allocating to the various sectors BDC & Banks on a weekly basis....The thing now is fine you will have dollar funds in your account or whatever IMTOs(Banks are the medium of withdrawal), and based on this new policy you are supposed to withdraw out cash...Then, what happens if the stock with banks cant meetup to the demand for dollar cash by individuals(There is no major change in forex reserve)...There dollar money get stucked and will be frustrated to collect in Naira or is it not when one is able to withdraw that you will then try to sell in the parallel market...Same emefiele was saying lastweek that Parallel market is an illegal market bla bla and people shouldn't patronise, yet a week after he is issuing policies which indirectly states that fine you can now withdraw and exchange your dollar at that same parallel market...I hope there isnt any sinister move behind this policy or just being desperate...

Hope you know CBN gives dollars to Bank on a Weekly basis and also to BDCs...But those guys in Banks are crooks too. Asides the backlogs they have nd have to pay.They do sell to those guys at parallel market rate, leaving customers request hanging.... I just hope CBN really enforces this

Lol...Did you panicked sell?..Forex market dealing is not an easy thing...The person has to get the timing right...Some people now will be trying to panic sell cos of the new policy...not knowing in the long run, can it be sustained?... In September 7 when CBN resumed sales of forex to bdcs naira gained from 475 - 465...It was stable all though october...Do u now know that all those gains were wiped out in November when it rose to as high #500...Some people who were bullish held on to it that same September even despite the crash and gained in November.... However, naira stabilizing is what we all pray for...

You are on point with your analysis...I was raising this point in nos 5 with a finance friend of mine today...Though there may be changes in the short run, maybe dollar falling by #10 or at most back to #470 from #500...The major factor determining our forex reserve is proceeds from sales of oil...With no significant change in that part(which am not seeing till next year)...I dont really see any significant adjustment occuring in the forex market, most especially the parallel market...

While the move seem the sensible thing to do, here are my takes

1. Do the banks have enough FX cash to handle payouts in the same FX? People would experience delays in cashing out due to scarcity and or the banks waiting for CBN to sell to them or the IMTOs repatriating the FX back

2. Aren't the banks FX position funded by the CBN? If you allow FX cash withdrawals through the banks, you are depleting the FX reserve to fulfill the payouts which is more or less recycling your foreign reserve at a cost

3. While it seem laudable, the best benefit would've been achieved if the IMTOs are allowed to connect directly with the BDCs and also smaller agents, that way it would help attract hoarders into releasing their stash instead of hoarding.

4. Hoping this won't dollarize the economy because everyone who withdraws from their account are bound to look for mallam instead of selling to BDCs or Banks ....why the need to withdraw sef if you're not traveling?

5. I'm also hoping its not a trap by CBN to lure the funds in and trap them by telling the banks to frustrate withdrawals. When the customers can't get the cash, they'll be forced to accept cash equivalent in Naira. Government can at the end of the day force a conversion of all fx in domiciliary accounts.

By bank having enough forex. What the person meant is that will bank have enough dollars to meet up with the exceeding demand that the pressure from the payout will necessitate...Remember, there are backlogs of request and banks only pay based on the dollar they will get on a weekly basis from CBN...

The policy by CBN has nothing to do with banks but IMTOs. Banks are not licensed to be IMTOs but can be agents of IMTOs. It's not the bank that's generating the Fx. They are only agents to disburse the funds. Before everyone can collect USD from western union, the policy is only saying if someone sends you money via western union or other various channels, you can collect the cash in USD or have it sent to you dom account.
I only hope the IMTOs implement it soon

Okay and Thanks...I think i will just give them only the docs they ask for...Just BSC...They already said any extra documents, asides what was asked doesnt influence the decision and will just delay the application..

My advice will be that you do not include your masters in your application.
I think priority is given to international students who have not done a masters yet.

Please I was about registering on the SøknadsWeb portal for UIS. I discovered from a query done on my Gmail account that I once registered in 2018, can’t even remember the school. Thereafter, I tried remembering/generating a password, the portal said the ‘’password could not be set. Are you registered?’’. So my question is can I do another registration, since it seems that my email is showing that it’s not in the system. I read something about disqualification, if I use the same email address to register in the system.

Yes, you can used a Master degree if you have completed the Master Degree and it is related to the programme to intend studying in Norway.

Also note that some schools will only evaluate your application based on your BSc.

Depending on your programme, some schools required work experience while other do not need it. You will see information on the school website. you can also email the respective schools if you are confuse at any point.

Sorry for burging you...Please i just needed the thoughts of an experienced person on this issue or anyone also.....If for instance, one has an investments in multiple places and even though the aggregate will meet up with the proof of fund stuff....Since Norway are asking for statement of account, knowing fully well that since the fund are not in one account, this might be difficult...If also for instance, the person decide to transfer all into a single account, How will one convince them, since the account can only show bulk transfers done within that month with no fund tangible fund history on such account... Note also that proof of where those bulk funds are coming from can be provided....Can they accept multiple documents for proof or just a single account statement and also if its a single account statement, will one month history be enough?.....Thanks

From my research intentionally stating you on an existing master's or having intention to do another master's deplicts to them as an indecisive and confused person, I would advice you don't mention it as that would actually reduce your admissibility rather than increase it.

Thanks for the response Sir/Ma...I am not stating that in my application.What i meant was that i will soon conclude my masters here in Nigeria(only 1 semester left)...But to be sincere am not really convinced by what i experienced in this Nigeria Universities and that was more reason why i felt i needed an international exposure (going by my choice of Norway)...Thanks

However, I have a concern, I would like to know if having MSc from Nigeria will add more point to MSc application in Norway?

This is because, the school programme at university of Oslo I will be applying to has 26 slots for their masters programme.

Yes for over a year now....Though madam once got pregnant in Aug 2018, which she later miscarried in oct of same year and being trying ever since then with no result...
