The contract staff are kicking more fiercely than ever. They are alleging that they have been tricked many times by the corporation about conversion only for nothing to happen in the end. You may wave them off as insignificant and their complain as illegitimate but the problem is that a great many of them are from the south south and that makes their cry hard to ignore. Turn around maintenance is starting soon like I said sometime back and will last till 2022 and that means NNPC will not need more hands before then. The recruitment process from all indications is as good as stalled and none of your "reliable sources" can come out to say the contrary. I enjoin all of you to move on. I dont know if anyone is thinking what i am thinking, the fact that the news ended with "He adjourned the matter until October 29, this year for hearing" is a clear indication that someone just reposted this news and added today's date to it, the whole news is exactly the one we read last month, word for word. The 're-affirming' added to it was just to scare we hopeful. Was it yesterday they held another court session or Saturday for someone to be posting news of one yeye reaffirming on Monday morning.

Assuming APL comes of today how are you certain you will even get it. The Dpr recruitment page after months of following up only about 2 or 3 people got d APL on nairaland at d end. The rest nobody knows where dpr sent it. Seriously, you guys need to care about your mental health, stop day dreaming about the vacations and the fat salaries you will be getting. If APL doesn't come at all which is 85% possible and also the 90% chance if it comes out not more than 2 or 3 will get it here, you will sink into a whole that will be difficult for u to come out. I feel bad the country make people get this way even after years of schooling. Also, it's because Nigerian youth do not want to get their hands dirty. There are so many opportunities in Nigeria that are untapped but the Nigerian wants clean fingers. Charcoal briquette production is easy to start and relatively a virgin in Nigeria.
