BusinessRe: Launching A Crypto Token. Will You Like To Be Among The Founding Members? by Tejuri(op): 11:09am On Aug 25, 2021
Madmazel99:
good day bro, I'm interested. I will suggest if you don't mind about the name of the token. Why not let's think globally instead of restricting this to Nigeria. Let's start from the name. 9jatoken is too attached Nigeria, why not a name not attached to anything Nigeria but everyone knows it's owned by Nigerians. This is just a suggestion
I understand where you are coming from, and I actually gave it a thought too.

Consider the following, from a marketing point of view, to market it towards Nigerians 9jatoken works just fine, I think we can agree on that. According to Binance Nigeria is number 1 in the world in crypto adoption, that tells us we have more than enough people within Nigeria to get into the coin when the time comes. Once we have enough Nigerians and we can get the buzz going, non Nigerians can come in, most crypto investors just want to make money, they don’t care what the name of a coin is. The name was chosen to try and get that initial buzz going. For example, if you saw a coin called India coin and you saw it appreciate 10% in one day, will the name stop you from buying in? Besides most non Nigerians fo not even know what “9ja” means or that it refers to Nigeria, aside Ghanians and a few other African country’s that listen to our music.

Since you're doing it for free to everyone, I can help with some of the development
That is good to know. I just registered a domain name for the token. A forum will be created on the website.

I think it is a good idea for us to have a telegram channel too. I am looking into the creation of a twitter and IG account too.

What aspect of the development can you help with?

What are the benefits?

My vision is for us to build a community, where we can discuss what use cases we can have for our crypto token. There are a lot of problems in the Nigerian financial industry we can solve.

If we do get big enough, with the number of crypto enthusiasts in Nigeria, the 1000 founding members could become millionaires in dollars 3, 4 years down the line. Imagine being one of the first 1000 people to get in on Bitcoin or Ethereum. I believe we can build something really big here.
BusinessLaunching A Crypto Token. Will You Like To Be Among The Founding Members? by Tejuri(op):
I am launching a crypto token, for Nigerians. I will like to throw it out in the open, for those interested in becoming part of the founding members.

I will like to point out that I am not requesting ONE KOBO from anyone. My real interest is for us to create a community. Nigeria is one of the biggest markets for crypto in the whole world and we do not even have a crypto created in this country to meet any of the challenges we are facing.

I will be giving FREE tokens to the founding members. My target is to have 1000 founding members, and we can grow the community from there.

I am repeating this is totally FREE, I am not collecting a KOBO from anyone.

I should be ready to have it ready by the start of next month. You can indicate your interest in joining on the thread and once the tokens are ready I will send yours to you for FREE.

BusinessRe: Cryptocurrency Education Thread. by Tejuri(op):
In 2021, no single African university offers courses in blockchain technology, they will probably get on board in 20-30 years when there are already limited opportunities and when the technology has become obsolete because the rest of the world has moved on to newer technology.
BusinessRe: Cryptocurrency Education Thread. by Tejuri(op):
Looking at the state of Africa/Nigerias economy today, the only realistic way for any entrepreneur to become a billionaire in USD is through cryptocurrencies, and I am not talking about trading, but by building a coin with real utility, that solves problems for humanity, because in 10 years the forbes list will be populated by cryptocurrency billionaires, and with how ignorant Africa is in blockchain technology, we will be left behind again.
BusinessRe: Cryptocurrency Education Thread. by Tejuri(op):
Africa has always been left behind by the rest of the world in virtually every aspect of modern living and cryptocurrency isn’t an exception. The new generation of Africans are also towing the line of the older generation by not making strides in new technology for example there afe currently a total of 0 Africans who are Billionaires under 40 years old. Africas youngest Billionaire Mohamed Dewji is 46 years old. In the west the cryptocurrency industry has made at least 12 billionaires and their total networth is 13 trillion USD, that is times 5 of the GDP of all African countries put together for 2019. Yes, you read that right, 12 crypto billionaires are worth 5 times Africas 2019 GDP. Africa has a population of 1.6 billion people by the way, such is the power of cryptocurrencies.
BusinessCryptocurrency Education Thread. by Tejuri(op): 12:43pm On Aug 04, 2021
You remember how in the early 2000’s a lot of American entrepreneurs became multi millionaires and billionaires from creating internet companies during the “dot com bubble”? I believe cryptocurrencies is presenting us with an opportunity again for creative minds to amass massive wealth provided they can provide solutions through blockchain technology/cryptocurrencies to various problems humanity is facing today.

Sadly just as very few Africans became multimillionaires and billionaires during the “dot com bubble”, very few African entrepreneurs are taking advantage of this massive opportunity crypto is presenting before us.

My reason for creating this thread is to educate those who will like to learn about blockchain technology/cryptocurrencies indepth, and what solutions it can provide to some of the problems we are facing in the world today in general and Africa in particular.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: How To Respond To The Question "Why Do You Want This Job?" In An Interview by Tejuri(m):
Why do they even ask this? grin Of course, most prospective employees just need a way of sustenance.

This is the equivalent of a girl you’re toasting asking if you want to “hit it”, you know the answer and she knows the answer but it is always a bad idea to say the truth.

We can achieve this as well on NSE, by buying penny stocks, especially insurance sector that are currently too cheap
How liquid are those though? You don’t want to be trapped with a stock no one will eventually buy.

Leezah:
where in Nigeria or Ghana?
Can be done anywhere. All it needs in we open a group chat and decide what crypto to buy and hold to make the price appreciate. We need to have a fairly large number to make it work though, but if done right, the potential profit is crazy. Dogecoin for example quadrupled in about 3 weeks then crashed to its original price then tripled again. This was made possible by a discord group of investors.

Want to know how much they made? Lets do the math. Lets use $10000 as a sample of initial investment.

1. Price quadrupled: $10000 x 4 = $40,000

2. Price crashed to original price (by shorting the coin profits can be made on crypto even when prices are falling): $40,000 X 4 = $160,000

3. Price tripled: $160,000 x 3 = $480,000

All that happened in less than 2 months.

Don’t take my word for it, go read up online on stories of how people made fortunes ealier in the year from Gamestop and Dogecoin from wallstreetbets.
InvestmentWhat If We Started Our Own Version Of Wallstreetbets? by Tejuri(op): 11:48pm On Mar 05, 2021
Some of you may be familiar with the absolute madness that happened earlier in the year when Gamestop stocks and Dogecoin turned investors into overnight millionaires.

I was thinking, what if we created a similar army of investors like wallstreetbets but instead of stocks, we focus on small cap cryptocurrencies? We can quadruple our portofolio every few months, 1 million naira can become 30 million in less than 3 years if well implemented. What do you guys think?
