by the way, the situation with this non payment of teachers has highlighted the lack of Unity in and amongst our Labour (dis)Unions. no other labour union is speaking for teachers...... the very same way teachers didn't speak when judicial and health workers faced their own challenges!!!!

I sympathize with those of us yet to receive alert..... especially as it has been up to 7 months for some! but let's not forget that Zenith is "usually" the pacesetter, then other banks come 1, 2, 3 or even 7 days later. i guess its back to business as usual. lets count our days!

wow.... great to hear that! they usually paid the arrears before the current salary, what now happened!

This governor just made me understand that this job isnt worth putting so much effort on. This is a very good lesson.

That means what my principal said is true. That salary might not come this week but I still remain positive.

Wike has suspended some commisioners and the head of civil service, now he has sacked majority of care taker commitees in the local government all of these is to deceive the people to think that he is a no nonsense governor which is a terrible lie as a politician, you can't deceive the people all the time governor wike.

I am so sorry..... I apologize to everyone of you, for lacking sense of humour(albeit temporarily). in fact, I didn't even comprehend it was a joke, until I saw this your response.
the statement (ie the joke) had me thinking of some of my colleagues who did what the joke hypothesized, to our students in the just concluded 3rd term, that our Principal held a staff meeting because if the issue...... hence I sparked!!!

please, teaching is a job of conscience. if one is an atheist or lacks moral good standing, that person is free to behave in that manner...... it is however better one doesn't go to class at all, than to go and teach wrongly!!!! the kids of those responsible for this situation don't attend Govt schools.

has anyone any news of those who did within 7th July and 29th July and their payment

on a serious note, wetin concern us with allocation sharing formula? it is the finance ministry's business....... we have worked, we should be paid at the stipulated date of the month. NO EXCUSES!!!!! ......from Fed, State or LGAs!
