onlyhandsome202: ChyChy17:I mean the info, is deliberately released to us, through many genuine people, who all innocently pass it on to us all. this sort of appeases us temporarily from any possible action...... strike, or protest!! that's why before the date reaches, another date emerges!! please, I don't know what was on my mind while typing the previous post hence its disjointed nature!!!! ....perhaps my arrears!! |
those that are responsible for the debt are actively releasing false info to us "tomorrow they would pay 2months" ....."before weekend" ....."the list is on his table, once Gov Wike approves the list" .........if not, who is giving this genuine looking, false info! |
but you see my dear colleagues, I still don't believe or perhaps I am telling myself not to believe that it is not true....... haven't we heard reliable stews and egg-sources, fall hand with hope raising stories! until he confirms to me, or another person corroborates, I wouldn't believe!!! |
my senior colleague this morning said one of our supervisors, whom we all know, confirmed to him AGAIN, the receipt of 4 months!! |
good day all... reports reaching me and my colleagues (abi na I and my colleagues) suggests that Oyigbo Zonal RSSSSB Staff ONLY have been paid and IN FULL...... NOT Teachers!!! ie those who come for supervision! don't know if any of you has similar story from your LGA. |
kudos to all posting alert info... but I think Bank, LGA and Board (UBE or RSSSSB) would be helpful to us all. |
Alert.... Access .....Oyigbo, RSSSSB one month unfortunately. September precisely. |
chinelany: Catalyst4eva: Catalyst4eva:I believe its not all schools in Khana that are owed.... just like in Andoni RSSSSB... ESPECIALLY those who filled incidence form for February salary!! |
these are the LGAs and boards Ahoada East UBE & RSSSB ASALGA RSSSSB & UBE TIA RSSSSB & UBE Oyigbo RSSSSB & UBE OKRIKA SSSSB & UBE ETCHE RSSSSB & UBE Degama RSSSSB Emuoha RSSSSB AHOADA WEST RSSSSB ONELGA RSSSSB KELGA RSSSSB OGU/BOLO UBE OMUMA UBE. GOKANA UBE AKUKU toru UBE KHANA UBE ANDONI UBE ELEME UBE I believe are owed, ie April-July. |

On the alleged non payment of salaries of some teachers in the state, Ebeku said that government is not owing any teachers, but that if there is any one yet to be paid, that such couldemanate from incomplete Biometrics.According to him, the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) had raised such issues, but that they are yet to comply with the instructions given to them, adding that it is determined not to oweany teacher in its employ who has been captured in the biometrics.“NUT had been discussing with me and their claim is that some teachers in some local governments are being owed up to seven months. I have asked them to produce information that will enable me identify this.“As we speak, two weeks have gone I have not received any document or information and in case there is any one being owed, it is not a deliberate action to owe him. It has to do with theissue of incomplete biometric.“They need to pursue it to logical conclusion, and in case somebody has done that and is being owed, it means there is little thing to tidy up in the ministry of finance, and I can assure you that no single one will be left unpaid”, the commissioner said. http://www.thetidenewsonline.com/2016/10/05/salaries-rsg-directs-security-guards-to-employers/ |
gold360:I didn't listen to the interview, but did he say anything about the arrears? ....perhaps even quote either the Governor, Commissioner or Perm Sec at least!!! |
Fiafiad:thanks man!!! |
concerning our NUT Leader's interview on 92.3 Nig Info, please, can someone ask him if he has reached out to other Unions to join the proposed strike, if we are not paid before 8th October!!! because, teachers strike alone wouldn't have enough weight as politicians kids do not attended public schools! |
Happy Teacher's Day everyone!!! let's not allow lack of salaries to kill our love for our students and pupils!!! that's our main motivation! |
anything don drop ?? |
gold360:guessing and saying IJN...... kind of incompatible!!! |
I thought "stomastructure" was PDP's mantra in 2015 election!!! ...no be salary dem go use d stomach infrastructure ?www.thenigerianvoice.com/news/160814/ill-restore-stomach-infrastructure-in-rivers-wike.html |
all ponzi schemes have a legitimate look about them! not one looks crooked, else it wouldn't be a ponzi scheme!!! and yes, I encourage us to dissuade as much teachers as you can because if and indeed when that ponzi scheme collapses, its still this forum that the victims would use to express their grief!! |
gold360:please, "alert" here, did you mean arrears?? or September salary? if na salary, my bank na 6-9th dem day normally pay! |
waliezi:as much as the advice for the insult is ok, but I believe you can't say owing civil servants and pensioners for God's sake, no matter how "few" the months might be, is part of performance! the governor is responsible for the entire actions taken or actions NOT TAKEN by the state govt....... gov Wike us very responsible for the money owed civil servant and pensioners!!! |
passarella013:as long as one is a Christian, Romans 13 tell all of us that all leaders, ALL LEADERS are chosen by God... hate him or love him and regardless if the process that led to the leader's emergence, God chose him!!! i think its not good to abuse the person in office. criticize the office or the person, but do not abuse the person! |

thanks for the info |
gold360:I don't know the LGA, hence I quoted the person. he was actually calling me so i can ask my bro who uses Zenith to know if he too has received (just as the person who called him) |
my colleague has informed me that some in Fidelity bank.... in "Ogoni area" where paid today!!! don't know if someone can corroborate this!!!! |
Hopesweet2:abeg, do not start a post with alert again...... abeg!!!!!! my mind went to somewhere else. but I genuinely sympathize with you, I pray shame never reaches anyone! |
so so sad.... no clear statement from the Rivers state Govt, the RSSSSB, min Of finance or ICT unit on the delayed payment of staff of the Rivers state Civil service. |
Fiafiad:i was here throughout the last admin except my service year. Please o, I started my comment with "at 18 months....." we where recruited in the previous administration's Second term..... like I said, at this point in Gov Amaechi's tenure, end of 2008, was rivers State a peaceful place to dwell in? Gov Wike's tenure hasn't reached 8years(I pray it doesn't) for a fair comparison to be made with the previous administration!!! as much as i am very, very angry that i am being owed salary, something i never experienced since i was recruited 2013, i am being realistic. |
passarella013:no.... 4 months being awaited!!! |
ChyChy17:I assume you mean @ state level!!! at 18 months old, the previous admin was facing insecurity problem in pH...... remember the HANDS UP AND WALK? ...it also has excess crude cash to play around with. no such luxury for this one, though security situation seem to mirror themselves..... to me, only crude oil price is the difference. |
Okjay:I believe it's 8th October. |
Okjay:as much as I would have wanted us NOT to resume on 19th Sept, I think the 21 days notice is to ensure the strike is Legitimate in every sense, meaning State Govt can't threaten us with NO-WORK-NO-PAY....... or even a sack, cause we embarked on the potential strike! |
