my senior colleague this morning said one of our supervisors, whom we all know, confirmed to him AGAIN, the receipt of 4 months!!

good day all... reports reaching me and my colleagues (abi na I and my colleagues) suggests that Oyigbo Zonal RSSSSB Staff ONLY have been paid and IN FULL...... NOT Teachers!!! ie those who come for supervision!

don't know if any of you has similar story from your LGA.

Dear commissioner NUT is not a govt agency to compile names. Nut can not play such administrative role. Nut is an independent body from govt. Even if they are to play such role u will still accuse her of given fake names. It is your own duty and that of the boards. Stop using high sense on the people. guy look at it from this angle. if you were the man. and was assured that everything has been sorted, will you still go there and bad mouth the government? lets be positive, our salaries owed will be paid.

I didn't listen to the interview, but did he say anything about the arrears? ....perhaps even quote either the Governor, Commissioner or Perm Sec at least!!!

concerning our NUT Leader's interview on 92.3 Nig Info, please, can someone ask him if he has reached out to other Unions to join the proposed strike, if we are not paid before 8th October!!! because, teachers strike alone wouldn't have enough weight as politicians kids do not attended public schools!

as much as the advice for the insult is ok, but I believe you can't say owing civil servants and pensioners for God's sake, no matter how "few" the months might be, is part of performance! the governor is responsible for the entire actions taken or actions NOT TAKEN by the state govt....... gov Wike us very responsible for the money owed civil servant and pensioners!!!

Please o, I started my comment with "at 18 months....." we where recruited in the previous administration's Second term..... like I said, at this point in Gov Amaechi's tenure, end of 2008, was rivers State a peaceful place to dwell in?
Gov Wike's tenure hasn't reached 8years(I pray it doesn't) for a fair comparison to be made with the previous administration!!! as much as i am very, very angry that i am being owed salary, something i never experienced since i was recruited 2013, i am being realistic.

at 18 months old, the previous admin was facing insecurity problem in pH...... remember the HANDS UP AND WALK? ...it also has excess crude cash to play around with.
no such luxury for this one, though security situation seem to mirror themselves..... to me, only crude oil price is the difference.

as much as I would have wanted us NOT to resume on 19th Sept, I think the 21 days notice is to ensure the strike is Legitimate in every sense, meaning State Govt can't threaten us with NO-WORK-NO-PAY....... or even a sack, cause we embarked on the potential strike!
