I have been trying to contact B.Y.Mafit for more than 2 weeks now but their numbers are always either busy or unavailable. I want to register for TOEFL for March ending. I need to make some clarifications before paying. I might just look for another option.
If you are in Lagos, you could visit their office at Ikeja

Your GPA is very okay. Put more effort in getting a good GRE score, preferably 320+ and apply for PhD programs. You will definitely get funding. Most Schools doesn't fund Msc programs and funding for MSc is more competitive, that's why i advice you focus on PhD program where you can easily get fully funded offer.
Thank you very much. I'll try to work on it

Please I've a Bsc in Petroleum Engineering and would like to do my MSC in the same or related field, My WES iGPA calculation was 3.44/4. I just registered for GRE and TOEFL, I'm preparing towards fall 2020. I know most schools request for 3.00 GPA, but i would like to know if I stand a chance, since Engr courses are usually competively and I hope to get fundings as well. Your response and advice would be highly appreciated. Cheers!

Hey try read some pages on part 4 of this thread, start from maybe page 250. You will get all useful informations.
You can search for schools on www.daad.de/en.
Select study programs in germany.
Since you wanna do Msc in Germany which is research oriented, you won't have probs making research on how to apply. All the best
Thanks bro. I would do just that.

Hi Everyone, I am Dayo by Name, I am hoping to apply to schools in Germany for my Msc for fall 2020. I graduated from UI, Petroleum Engineering with a 2'1 (5.5/7). Yet to take GRE or TOEFL, I am looking forward to someone putting me through on the whole process as i have little knowledge about the whole thing. I would need suggestions on schools I could apply to( Pet engr or Energy related courses) and tips on how to go about the whole process. I would be glad if someone could put me through. Thanks in anticipation!

Good evening everyone and happy Valentine's Day.
I have been a visitor on this platform for few months and decided to register after seeing testimonies of success and assistance gotten from this platform.

I am a male of 27years with a First Class degree in chemical engineering. I completed my NYSC last year and am still jobless.

I've been able to save just around 1million naira and I need your advice on which country preferably Europe I can travel to and maybe settle down with hope of landing a good job considering my discipline.

Thanks in anticipation

Hey Bro, I am fresh graduate of Petroleum Engineering. I am still serving and haven't even saved as much as you have but from the little I have, the first step I took was to get my passport and pay for GRE. The exam lasts for about 5 years. With that I'm hoping to apply to schools in US for MSC. As a matter of fact, you have an amazing profile and I believe if you could dedicate your time, things would work out as planned. I just PMed you so we could share ideas and rub minds together, also do well to follow the US student visa thread on Nairaland. Have a nice day!

I really don’t know why I don’t give a Bleep about this NASU strike. They couldn’t stop exam in my school (UI) and OAU. The couldn’t stop unilag from starting a new session, even when it’s so obvious that admissions processes are handled by them. I know once the school senate that would send names to NYSC does that. NASU strike aint stoping shii grin

If u finished from any of any public university, u guys shud just forget abt dis batch coz it no way possible again bcz of dis nasu strike...
Lol...calm down bro, we still have till about May. I think the major thing is for your school to send names to NYSC and that doesn’t depend on NASU. Hopefully, the strike will end soon Sef. Pls don’t let us forget this batch yet

OmaniPadmeHum:
You have a bias for any aspect of HSE Sciences? It would depend on where you think you want to really focus on. You have the basic appreciation knowledge. Now it is to go deeper into Safety Engineering which is a little bit close to maintenance engineering. Just that in safety engineering you get to start managing risks from the design stage and not from operations/maintenance phase. The Principles of prevention through design (PtD) and Human Factors/Ergonomics are taught amongst many many others.

Let us see how it goes. If there are any questions you would love to ask or clarifications to make let us know.

I also believe other HSE professionals can learn skills and acquire knowledge through this medium.
Thank you very much for ur reply. I actually prefer the safety part of HSE , so the safety Engineering would be a great idea if you can clarify better. I also love drilling and completions part of my course so I won't mind having knowledge on Rig safety as well... I would like you to put me through on where to start from in other to achieve all these. God bless you as you reply.

Good day everyone, I'm Temidayo by name, a final year student of petroleum Engr in one of the first generation universities here in Nigeria. I'm a little bit scared as per what the future holds for me as a petroleum Engr due to dwindling oil prices (Glory to God it's even coming up little by little). I'm humbly requesting for a mentor in the oil and gas field, especially relating to HSE. I currently have my HSE level 1,2&3 certificate and kinda confused on what to go for next as I need something that will give me an edge after graduating. I would be glad if I get a reply. Thank u all for a wonderful job done in this forum
