False information. The founder of jobberman is a graduate of OAU AND NOT A PRIVATE UNI. ednut1: is it public universities with lecturers using same notes since 2010 that are not glorified secondary schools smh. Go to LinkedIn and see where products of private uni are. The creators of jobberman and paystack were private uni graduates. |

My Journey It all started on a particular day in September 2017, I was bored at work (I have always been tired of my job even from the very first day I started) and I was chatting with a neighbor. During our conversation which was about getting a school either in the US or Canada for Masters. She mentioned going to Canada as a PR through Express Entry, I have always known about Express Entry but I didn’t have much information and I knew my parents wouldn’t allow me go there that way. Anyways, she explained the whole process and I was over interested. After understanding the whole process I was able to convince my parent. Afterwards, the first thing I did was to register for IELTS then I registered for WES on the 31/10/2017 I wrote the first IELTS and got (L8 R8.5 W7 S6.5) I hadn’t found out about this nairaland thread so when my friend advised me to remark I was like NO that I will write another one. Unilag on the other hand wasted my time until Nasu strike started. While waiting for Nasu to call off their strike I was looking for ways to get two or more certificates so I was stuck between using my Unilag Diploma and my CIPM (Please note that I didn’t know that Unilag diploma was evaluated as one degree with your Bsc) I finally decided to go with Unilag Diploma, but when I found out the stress involved I decided to remove diploma and replace it with CIPM but they said they couldn’t remove it. So instead of adding CIPM I decided to wait for WES to complete the evaluation which was completed on 31st of July 2018. Meanwhile during the strike I registered for another IELTS but the result was worse than the first one; LRWS- 7.5,8,6.5,6.5. Seeing the result I decided to wait for my WES evaluation to be completed before writing another one. After my WES came out in July I decided to upgrade to two or more certificates by using my CIPM but before I could register for an upgrade, WES came out with the WAEC thing. I went ahead anyway hoping I wouldn’t be affected but na lie them no gree, I sent countless mails telling them they could use scratch card but them still no gree. I accepted my fate and went to process my WAEC transcript. While waiting for WAEC verification I heard WES was accepting scratch cards, so I joined a whatsapp group from nairaland, someone was going to get the scratch card for us and also help with taking it to the courier office, all we did was donate money (May God bless that person). Finally my WES evaluation began, so I registered for IELTS exams for December 15, 2018. Come and see reading, fasting and prayer, I didn’t know I was that religious and I could take an exam so serious. I PMed Oga Wassaynest for Liz paid materials for writing which he sent to me (May god bless that man who is now a stranger turned brother now). After writing the exam, the two weeks wait period before the result comes out was the longest ever or so I thought. In fact at a point I was wondering if I could sleep and wake up in two weeks’ time . Finally the result came out(LRSW- 8.5, 9, 7, 7) and I was at work then, I just entered the toilet and was crying and thanking God. I couldn’t get the hardcopy of my IELTS result immediately because of the Christmas holiday, so on the 2nd of January 2019 I decided to kill 2 birds with one stone, I was the first person at alagbon at 6:50am because I wanted to collect police report afterwards I went straight to BC’s office for my result which could have been delivered to me by the way. I updated my profile immediately in case there was a draw that day (Please note that I had created my profile with my first WES evaluation and first IELTS). But the draw occurred the following week on Thursday January 10th, 2019. For medicals I used IOM because they are closer to me and QLIFE was overbooked, my medicals was on the 30th of January 2019 and immediately after my medicals I submitted my application. Now this is when the real wait happens and I thought two weeks was long two weeks wait is nothing compared to waiting for 5 months 23 days. Me that was praying for 2 months processing time, they showed me pepper. My parents forced me to order GCMS notes and I guess that triggered something because I got an ADR for schedule A and additional family information a week later. When they say this journey isn’t for the faint hearted, it really isn’t. Sometimes I wonder how I survived the past months, my anxiety was on another level, it was crazy. I even have to pinch myself and remind myself that this is actually happening and that I’m leaving this country, it can get scary though because I will be leaving all my family and friends behind to start a new life. Finally thanks to this wonderful thread that made the journey easy, I started following this thread when it was in part 3 and I made sure I read from part 1 and that helped me a lot. |

kexepet: If your Bsc. is from a Nigerian University then you’d need the listed above. 1) search the threads for information on how to send WEAC/NECO scratch card and result to WES. 2) You can use HelloFax to send your Bsc. degree certificate to WES. 3) Contact your university to send your transcript to WES 4) Please spend more time on page 1. Thanks a lot..I will comply with what you said |

Prettiepearlz: The other case is different because the person is married. In your case, you are single, you are applying alone and you’re required to provide proof of funds for yourself alone. Do you get? Ok boss.. I get 100 percent...thanks |

Prettiepearlz: Why is your spouse not accompanying? You will provide proof of funds for your number of family whether accompanying or not. Why can’t you apply as spouse accompanying so you can claim point from your spouse’s education and English test so as to boost your point. Spouse can just do a short landing and head back to Nigeria as soon as he or she gets PR card.
As for your profile since you didn’t indicate which one is LRWS, I assume it is. With that your CRS score is 446, which was okay ast at the year 2018 but for 2019, no one knows at the moment, I wouldn’t totally rule out your chances but with the situation of things now, you may need to chill very well in the pool and wait till the CRS score drop to that point. You would get more point if your spouse accompanies so as to get points from education and English test. Spouse accompanying is better even if he/she wouldn’t live there as compared to doing sponsorship route which from what I read here is time consuming.
To the seniors, I stand to be corrected. Boss, I don't have a spouse or fiancé. Its I alone ..can't I apply successfully and be selected ? I thought I will only provide POF for myself only . Please advise me. |

Hi bro, I see your advise helpful. I have a few questions I will like to ask by mail. Can you please send me a mail to : tmt19john@gmail.com Thanks. Expecting. Topjohn cruzclinton1: Bro I can help u run the bakery smoothly( from production to administrative works) and I need job now as am jobless now. I once worked as a bakery manager before immediately after my NYSC(youth service) in my childhood friend bakery. I worked as the overall manger/production manager/and even the administration part of the bakery coz he hardly stay in d factory,so I have to control everything. He only come in and check things and go out again. In a nutshell, I can handle your bakery for you. Both the mixture, supervising the workers and the admin job,but I can't do all this for you,I will focus on one .....for the best result ( is not advisable to for u to give one person all this job,I will tell u the reason if u ask further.
For the workers salary scheme------ the*** BAKER ***is being paid pay bag, according to how many bags worked per day,u can decide to pay him daily, meaning in the morning after sales for yesterday work or u keep d records and calculate all to pay him month end ***other workers re payed monthly like *** oven servers/milling man/sales person/table workers, comprising of the dough cutter, dough molders re paid monthly
In bread bakery,we have this category of worker....baker/milling man/ mixer/oven servers/table worker and sales person
Ah I forgot the driver...he drives the bus to sale bread outside with the sales gal. Drivers is paid month and the earn more than any other worker. D driver and d baker. Ask me any other question. I will answer |

Pls Empredboy, I am motivated by your post. I have interest in bakery business but please can you mail me so we can discuss better? Thank you Tmt19john@gmail.com TopJohn Empredboy: My bro, don't be deceived bakers (those who bake the bread) don't receive salaries but but they charge per bag. Here i pay #800 per bag. So if you produce 3 bags, its times #800. For you not to be cheated, you must know the quantity of loaves a bag produces, you must have idea of bread making or else you will find it difficult to cope in that business. Ask any question about the business. |
