Sir, If you have read the thread diligently, you would have seen that bank statements are not required.

Back to your original post. I suggest you try to fill the DS-160 form: there you will see that "visit a friend" is not an option for the purpose of the trip. You will need to choose the most appropriate option that matches the purpose of your trip.


On another note. Are you applying from Nigeria or from Poland? If I were you, and I am a full time student in Poland, I will apply in Poland. No point travelling to Nigeria to apply for a US visa, and especially as you may not be able to demonstrate good ties to Nigeria.

I know nothing good comes easy, and i'm not desperate to visit US, i study in Poland, so i have taken my time to read,If i saw anything related I would not ask,I have been reading and searching, this is my first time outside Europe destination, and so far most stories I read has been for TOURISM, CONFERENCE,VACATION.. I am not a lazy reader,,just one question i need clarification on, and that is if bank statement would be required,I still have bout €2K,dont know if that would be enough

I'm sorry to say this ooo but I believe and think the reason you decided to travel to Ghana is because of upcoming U.S visa interview and why will your firm allow you take a road trip to Ghana... it does not add up in my own opinion.
Going to Ghana,Dubai and countries without visa hassle simply means you want to fill up your passport with stickers and stamps.

I would like some information as I intend to visit a friend in USA in early February, although he and his family won the US visa lottery sometime ago, and so he wants me to come visit, I'm 22years old, I would like you guys to put me through the right process, because so far I have only read *Testimonials of people going for Tourism and Vacation* I don't know if I should apply as a tourist, or if I should just tell the VO I'm going to visit a friend, and also would I need to submit back statement for the trip, I would be sponsoring myself for the trip though,but if bankproof is required i would use my mom'sbank statement, the friend family used to be my church member, would need your candid advise, he wants me to come January but I would be very busy and I also need to prepare well in advance,so I told him February, although his parent would send me the invitation letter.

Yes there is but mainly for candidates from Belarus, they also have an embassy in Belgium, but Belgium embassy in Nigeria wouldn't grant you visa also, which I am not so certain of why,
Most schengen countries often do not grant visa for other schengen countries except for short term stay like for tourism, vacation and the likes.

They can't because you are not going on a short term trip, so you can only go to the country where Estonia has an embassy, and I think India is your best bet,it is relatively easy to secure their visa, but put in mind that if u don't have 5 C4 minimum in your WAEC, just don't appear, your waec and bank statement is what matters the most., and their visa fee is over 100k now since the fall of Dollar it used to be 89k, but the good thing about it is that, if they won't give you visa, they would tell you not to pay visa fee,instead you should provide authentic document and come back if you so wish.

Was at the embassy with a printout of WAEC but wasn't attended to (with both MoE/MFA) as seal on them. The lady in charge told me they want originals.

A lady, did u meet the consular,as far as I know there are Two consular with no lady amidst them.

That means one has to stick to just WAEC. What if one's original certificate isn't out? Any possibility of them legalizing copy of such result?
One has to ask all the funny questions he or she knows just to make things work out correctly.

If your certificate is not out,guess u can take a online print out there, the only thing is just that It must have Ministry of Education Seal on it, because they know the Ministry won't put a seal on fake document,and concerning NECO, you can write the embassy, they often reply quick. as far as you are coherent.

The lady is a Ghanaian, (Ms Gloria), and I dont think they legalize NECO, so far it has been only WAEC certificate,guess that is the cerificate they recognize.

OK that's gud, I am not talking about the money in the account at d time u applied ..I am talking about the flow of money into the account for d past six months..
actually this embassy jst keeps confusing me..it seems like they were not welcoming to u bt a friend visited recently and it was like they were chatting to d point of asking him which food he likes and they were even teasing him about his accent..

Maybe the man that attended to me has just been returned back to Poand, so they have a new consular officer now, I guess this new man is unexplainable like i dont know if they inject thia people before sending then to Nigeria, that's the way they were making me feel alright too, ur mother is very rich, where does she work and co, off course I had all her company documents cox its a registered company... So I presented and everything he didn't even check it, was just concerned bout the bank statement

Nothing they just ask for your documents only and tell u to come back after 14days.... They don't allow u say a word, so u can't ask questions, once u ask they get so infuriated that they call the security on you.

wow ..am not sure if I could b of much help here ..bt it looks like u wld need to ask for assistance from the university.they shld help contact the embassy on the day of ur appointment to verify that uve been fully accepted and are due to start studies also for d second reason I think it might b ur statement of account..from ur perspective do u think its strong enough to get u a UK visa? and how close u are to d owner of d account rly matters..

Would get an appointment and tell the school to write dem anyway, and probably ask to forward. Copy of the message sent to my mail, so I have a copy too

The owner of the account is my mum and it us fully loaded off course it would get me a UK visa,

1. You have not justified your reason or condition of stay.

2. There is reasonable doubt that you would not leave the republic of Poland before your visa expires.

They have just denied my visa and its stating only this two reasons in my denial letter, after seeing admission letter and payment slip.. Poland has showed me fire o, since July 13th.

Although I hope to re-apply but I need to know how to tackle this two reasons before I go again.

Any contribution would be gladly appreciated.

Plz don't be dcieved , he can't come to do holiday jobs in Germany if he does not av d papers. The so called black jobs are rare and don't pay that 8.5€ as 8.5€ is d legal minimum wage so y will a job that is under d table pay u that much. I av bin in Germany since 2014 and getting those under table jobs is like going thru d needle eye cus Germany is a paper country

I think the form code is embedded in the barcode portal in the end of the application,which I guess would take a barcode scanner to locate/find.
