Good morning house, please if your sponsor is a Nigerian based in Nigeria is he required to certify his bank statement, I D and sponsorship letter before he gives them to you? I am applying for study visa.
Thank you.
Certify Bank Statement No, its an official statement and as such signature from the bank is enough, sponsorship letter gotten from high court doesn't need certification, but sponsor ID must be certified.

Hi,

Please where can I get a medical, radiological reports & yellow card in Lagos. It's very urgent thanks.
Medical you can do that at any government hospital, but it is best to write VFS asking about it, for genuine information, they reply almost the same day.

For yellow card,u can get that at international airport road, just take a cab from National bus stop (blue cab) stop at Fed.ministry of health. It's #100

Hi...yeah! Those guys at naija airport got no chill, but lucky me and with Gods grace, I spent not even a kobo on any immigration officer.

Yellow fever card (10days before your travel date)
Invitation from my bro in SA .
His address in Pretoria.
His data page, with his contact details inclusive.
His stay permit and ofcourse my ticket... grin

They questioned me at every point.
The SA immigration guys were cool, probably because I arrived late 1;30am mid-night...everything was rushed, the immigration babe who stamped me was so tired.
South Africa is beautiful.
I wish you luck!
Safe flight to you!!!
Yeah they won't disturb u, if you stand on your grounds, only those jittering, then they would want to extort u, the way they scatter bags is annoying

Hey bro, congratulations.
I called them yesterday but they must have closed for the day.
Please can you help me out with this issue.
Normally Nigerian laws dictates that you can only renew passports 6 months to expiry and mine still has 11 months on it.
Why I am saying this is because the VSF office (people contracted by the South African Embassy to handle visa applications in Nigeria) at Port Harcourt claims I have to renew my passport (which is impossible) and that my passport has to outlive my visa duration by at least 30 days. Which means I have to have a passport that at least expires in 3 years and 30 days after my studies.
Why I am skeptical about their claims is that they didn't sound convincing or very knowledgeable.
I would like to know if you have any contacts at the Nigerian embassy to confirm it or someone at the South African immigration service because I have searched for ways to contact the embassy directly regarding this issue but the numbers provided are either invalid or do not go through.
Please can you help me confirm what the correct procedure is as it is currently stalling my submission.
Thanks
It is possible to renew it with the 11months,i renewed mine which still had 10months validity on it, and i got a new one in two weeks, the thing is you have to apply for it at abuja,if its more than 6months before expiry,it can only be handled at abuja if u require a new one... So you should try getting contacts from Abuja since vfs wouldn't accept your application, all you have to do,is to present a letter to back up the reason for the renewal,i f its for school, you have to show them the original admission letter, and also get a letter from embassy(it could be from.vfs, since vfs js handling the application), it could be a mail print out, stating that you need to get a new passport.

Nooooo.

I wouldn't subscribe to the indoor thing. Why then did u travel that far, what story will you tell ur friends and family when u return - that u were indoor ?

Walk around at least, make friends, enough sightseeing.
Okay sir, would do, Geeky already even made me change my mind bout been indoor, i just thought it woukd help me save funds, but who cares, I'd just try to have as much fun as possible grin and i travel that for a meeting which is my top priority, but thanks for your advice... Very well appreciated,

God bless

I really cant tell you what will be enough or not. Plan your tip well. Factor in food, and transportation within town.
Average meals in restaurants range from 50 rands to 120. Like i earlier said, i really cant give exact figures. It depends on you.

Its not fun if you stay indoors all through. So much fun to have in Jo'burg. Never lived in pretoria so dont know much about the place.
cheesy true this Its not fun if you stay indoors all through ... Well thanks for your help, you have done enough,m really grateful, from the above I can deduce the estimate... Thanks again.
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by TemmyDavies(m): 11:42pm On Jan 16, 2017
geekybabe:
I may not be able to give u a complete estimate. But

1. Hotels are cheaper in pretoria.
2. You dont have to use an hotel. Go to Airbnb.com. you shiuld get an apartment for d period u wanna stay at a reasonably fair price than an hotel. Compare prices for jburg and pretoria
3. Whatever you decide, there are trains from jburg to pretoria almost evry hour. Just get the train card at d park station(joburg or pretoria). Each trip is not up to 100 rands. Check gautrain fares online.
4. I cant give an estimate of food and all that..but just plan and prepare for your trip well.

I think i have tried.
Thank you very much for your response, u really strike the nail on the head,I'm indeed grateful....God bless

I visited the Airbnb as you said, and its okay too but its fees is per night, wonder why they won't give an estimate for 2 weeks, and apartments seem a little high tho almost the same with Jo'burg, but with the slight diff I would just settle for Pretoria anyway.

And also, checked the gautrain site its preferably awesome, was thinking of Uber but this is far more than better.

Although I would still search for more apartments on Airbnb,.,...

Also do you think 3500rands would sustain me for 2weeks, would be spending most of my free time indoor, Lol no big boy flaunting or related.

I think you should bring as much money as you can. From the way you sound, it's like you coming with a tourist visa. Has a tourist you just have to carry as much money as you can to enjoy your stay. Secondly, what do you mean you will be paying from Nigeria?
I mean for the hotel fee from Nigeria, if only they would deduct from my account if i push in my ATM card details.
Lol Oga I don't want to enjoy the stay that would make me burn money, I still have other places to visit, the conference Is a max of 3 days thing, but its not at a stretch, would be spending most of my free time indoor, coming strictly for the conference no time for big boy flaunting.
Would 3,500 rands be enough for 2 weeks, I have visited Gautrain.com to check the train fares from Jo'burg to Pretoria, and its pretty reasonable

Acess bank cards work in SA. Rate is between 23 and 24 naira. But note that you can only swipe at pos terminals and cannot withdraw. Also note that there is a limit. You can only spend 100usd in a month with the card. Thats about 1300 rands or so.
Hello please, how much rands would be enough for a visitor for 2-3weeks max, would be staying in Jo'burg but would be visiting Pretoria maybe twice or thrice,,no shopping really or going to cinemas, strictly conference.

Seems hotels are cheaper in Jo'burg than in Pretoria.

Pretoria would have been better as the organization I am visiting is in Pretoria but I would be taking care of my expenses myself, soi am thinking of booking an hotel in Jo'burg, but would pay from Nigeria,so anyone with an idea, also considering the transport fare to pretoria for 2-3times.

which method of payment will u use for the application fee and after payment send ur documents to school, interview etc but for the visa am also confuse I don't know which is the best route to take BTW India and Egypt.
India is safer provided your documents are complete, but this days they often refer people to other countries for some reasons best known to them, although i guess because of Nigerians drugs threat, and also they believe Nigerians going to India has ulterior motives, So you might get there and they refer you to Egypt, or u might be lucky they attend to you. Its a 50-50 possibility.

Plz what's called D visa because have started my Estonia application and I wish to know how my route to Estonia will look like.
Plz I need ur help on this and more
D visa, is the same with National Visa, its called National D visa which is the type of visa given to a foreign applicant who would be staying in the country for up to a year, so as a student you would be applying for National D Visa in Estonia Embassy, but you would apply for Visitor or Entry Visa to India first, so as to submit your documents personally at Estonia Embassy in India.

hilarous .....how can you withdraw rand at Lagos airport .I said swipe in SA .
Hmm hilarious wow, If u had patiently read, you would observe the coma amidst the sentences and you would see in SA nt Lagos Airport, some bank atm card doesn't work outside Nigeria, and that was why i needed to be to be sure of the process, and at lagos airport i meant exchange.

Bro for your sake, always be patient with reading, and learn to observe punctuation marks, there is a reason for their existence.

Hello Great People...Am HND Accounting Graduate ( Through with my NYSC) pls how do I secure admission in a Germany University For Masters ( Winter Semester)? and what are the process of securing Students Visa and other details needed..Since I have Passport Already
First things first www.study-in.de/en/ or www.daad.de/en/ to find the available schools offering your desired course, and their application periods, after getting the list of schools of interest, write the school an email concerning your situation, there are different approach to different persons, the international office can ask you to send your docs to them for evaluation or you send to uni-assist, either will be decided by the international office.
And securing visa isn't easy neither is gaining admission easy owing to the fact that everyone want to explore the opportunity of free education, and as such admission is always competitive, the higher the qualification documents the higher the chances of securing admission.
Wish you the best in this year 2017

Happy New Year Everyone✌✌
