It was for legalisation, I double booked appointment for 18th August, so if you can get them to take you on 18th August by 12:30pm, I'm trying to cancel the appointment but it kept requesting for form number and code number which in the PDF page I got only one number.
The number on your slip is the form number enter it, about 15digits or more.
God Bless bro

Yes, the appointment opened around 5pm yesterday , it was updated after embassy working hours, but it was very limited, 11th August and 18th August, 8:30am to 12:30pm, each time was for only one person. You got to keep watch all day for it.
One person wow, they are mean o,God help me get a date today, but if they gave someone 18th it would reflect on their website, are you sure that was not schengen visa appointment date.

Twas made on Wednesday 3rd anytime from around past 4.30pm cos I was checking all day till that time which I assumed is their closing time yet no show when i checked again at 7pm it had changed to 17th. These polish people are something else so they can't even keep the date stuff open for 24hrs, most embassies would use this means to generate revenue. No not them, such backwardness.
So now they don't upload in the morning again, I think the problem is the website is always overloaded by people checking and checking so they can hardly have time to upload appointment date, so the particular time when people aren't on their keypads dey upload it. Because this morning I couldn't open the website, due to website overload

someone should help me out.. on this

List of docs required by the polish embassy for visa interview
List of docs to be legalized and also where i can get my eligibility statement..

Someone should help me .. it is very urgent.. time is not on my side
You would get your Eligibility Letter from ministry of education, Abuja. Your school would tell you which documents to legalize but you would be required to Authenticate your educational documents in Ministry of Education Abuja, where you would be required to submit your WAEC CERTIFICATE,TESTIMONIAL, TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS, STATEMENT OF RESULT, after which you would proceed to Ministry of foreign affairs, where they would also Authenticate the documents from Ministry of Education which I stated earlier, but this time including your BIRTH CERTIFICATE, and SPONSORSHIP LETTER.

As for the embassy requirements, check the list below.
1. International passport;
2. Visa fee of 18,600 Naira in cash (unless entitled to discount);
3. 2 passport-type photographs (en face, color, white background, no glasses, no hats);
4. Travel medical insurance valid for the entire period of intended stay plus at least 2 days; valid for all Schengen countries; minimum coverage 30,000 EUR;
5. Flight reservation (return);
6. Residence permit in one of the countries covered by the Embassy (if applicable);
7. Copy of passport data page and previous visas;
8. Copies of all original documents which the applicant wishes to keep.

1. Copy of acceptance letter;
2. All documents required by the institution;
3. Confirmation of payment of fees (if applicable);
4. Documents for legalization (if applicable) – more info: Legalization of documents;
5. Hotel reservation or proof of another accommodation; for applicants planning to stay with family or friends or being sponsored by Polish/EU citizens in any other way, an invitation registered with appropriate Polish authorities (Urzad Wojewodzki) is required;
6. Documents regarding applicant’s sufficient means of subsistence during intended stay, such as: introduction letter from employer with employer’s consent for travel; salary slips; proof of business ownership; personal/business bank account statements; proof of income generated by property; letter from sponsor and documents regarding sponsor’s financial situation;
7. Documents regarding applicants family situation (marriage/birth certificates).

If you need any other visit their website ----© http://www.abuja.mfa.gov.pl/en/consular_information/visas/

And Legalization is done at the embassy, they charge 8,300 per page,it was still 6K as at 7days ago,

God bless.

I don't understand this "if u have any documents that shows ties to Nigeria to prove ur coming back take along mayb ur Dads props that u have in care or anything with good convincible bonds"...
Bro reply me on facebook.. i need more help from you.
I'm sorry I can't text now on Facebook and whatever help u need, u can ask here, I do not know it all, what might seem right to me might be wrong, so please let's keep it here where everyone can contribute and we can all learn I haven't gotten my wiza either, still on processing.

And about the ties, something to convince them that you would be returning to Nigeria after your studies, is what I mean by the ties.

With this reasons.. then what are you intended to do in-order to get a visa?
Bro am a little bit afraid about mine....
Pray like never before, and prepare well enough, gather as much documents as needed, if u have any documents that shows ties to Nigeria to prove ur coming back take along mayb ur Dads props that u have in care or anything with good convincible bonds.

I haven't gotten my Visa from them either but this hint should help, but prayer is the master Key, once u dominate in the spiritual the physical has no option but to submit.

temmy did you pay school fees but I did not pay my but the school send me certificate of enrollment and certificate of payment for the acceptance fees can I apply like that at the embassy
I paid my tuition fee for a year, the idea of not paying I do not think it is really safe according to my little understanding, there are rules by which they judge if I could send PDF here I would have sent u the journal of laws they use to judge visa,, which I was recently hinted about by the embassy staff who replies mail.

Likely reasons they might use against u.
1. You have not justified the purpose or conditions of the intended stay.

2. There is reasonable doubt as to your intention to leave the territory of the Republic of Poland before the expiry of the visa.

I have been reading from page 7 and read how helpful you've been to people. Thanks for taking out of your precious time for humanity.

I have a question pls, it is for real that one can secure an appointment through those security guys or their embassy staff there? I know this is possible because i have been to a few embassies and it seem like this "runs" do happen, but the reason why i am asking to be sure is because the URL where you book appointment seem to be centralized for all applicant worldwide and for this reason, it may not be under the control of the embassy so their chance of distorting appointment is kinda unclear but if you think this "runs" do happen and it is for real and doesn't affect your chance of getting the visa then pls confirm it for me.

Also, if i choose to "runs" my way through the appointment, i am guessing i can just forget about securing appointment online, right?

Thanks in advance.
*it may not be under the control of the embassy so their chance of distorting appointment is kinda unclear but if you think this "runs" do happen and it is for real* it is not centralized, it is country specific, and the embassy in each country is responsible for fixing the date which is according to their capacity, and you just have to be vigilant and smart.....securities if at all can't book all the appointments at once, writing the embassy is the best option.

Hello,

I'm wondering if there are any Nigerian students in Kraków or Katowice (both in Poland).
I'm thinking of attending school in one of these cities and I would like to know what life is like there, typical student demographics (white, black, Asian, etc) and the cost of living.
Thanks for your replies.
Brother, do your research online, check for people testimonials, and don't go after Nigerians, we are one but abroad you need to live and rely on God and yourself, check the course u want to do which school has more graduates from that course and how many years the course has been

It's very unfortunate that many Nigerians don't even bother to do research on where they are traveling to, later you see them online blaming and laying complaints to whomsoever cares to listen, of course the most important thing is just get to answer that we live abroad. Best of luck.
Okay, so am I wrong to have chosen that school or what so unfortunate, just in case u think my choice is wrong I over did my research and I applied to only that school cox it suits me andits facilities are modern, some Nigerians look for where Nigerians are instead of somewhere that can help their career.

All the best, will be there on Thursday.
Have you received your letter visa?
Thanks Bosses for your time and info, APPLIED TO SUT,Gliwice,Poland... did it in two days, dedicated a day for MOE which was yesterday and I got my docs that same yesterday, while today I faced MFA and I got my documents in less than 4 hours, God has just been making a way although it isn't easy, but no one asked for bribe in MFA, MOE I think was just 1k to get eligibility letter cox normally I wasn't suppose to get it in a day but they had to squeeze it as if I have applied before yesterday, but its all cool though..

#Thanks to you guys once again.

I seems not to understand your question. How long does it takes to legalize at "MFE"?? are you talking of "MOE" if yes then, its possible to get it same but but best target is 2 days.
Getting it quick depends on the number of applicant , the Oga's up that floor, going and coming from the Bank (after payment) then waiting for the document to be signed and stamp .
Note: when going have it in mind of spending two - three days.
Also documents needed are:
Your Original WAEC/NECO and Testimonial
Scratch card
Copies of your certificate
New office File
And get an Envelop to house the mentioned documents.
Best of luck! As I'll be in Abuja this coming week.
Thank you very much for your answer, I am already in Abuja.

@Abnur Okay Thanks,but I have done the Authentication of my Certificate In Lagos state ministry of education, before I found this thread and the schools I sent to in Poland accepted it, what I just want to be clear about is Would the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Legalise it, like do they care to know if it is State Ministry or Federal Ministry.
Or they would only look forward to the stamp on it and see the proof of its authenticity, then proceed with the legalisation,

And how cool is Katowice/Gliwice?
