johnydon22:The Bible said it, point blank that Satan is the ruler of this world... .. John 12:31... And 1john 5:19.. Check Bible verses sir. It's difficult to believe, but your Bible will make you believe. |
Dewze:Yeah... Any issue with that? |
Dewze:Not at all. Right from the spot where Adam and Eve listened to Satan other than God. They accepted Satan's as their controller other than God. Remember that Satan showed all the kingdom of this world to Jesus Christ that if he just can show an act of worship to him, he'll give the kingdom of the world to him. (Gen 4:8,9.) And what you don't have will you give it out? definitely, No! So he offered Jesus Christ what he knew he had, and you'll see that Jesus Christ didn't deny that fact that he's(satan) in control. But he became ruler when he was sent down permanently here... But humans were under his influence before he was hurled. |
johnydon22:Appreciate your kind heart regarding the Bible, don't worry the Bible will give answers to that part too. Don't forget that God had given Adam and even law regarding the fruit of knowledge of Good and bad, and he laid the consequences that'll follow if they fail to comply, but it wasn't even a temptation, why did I say so, remember here in the Bible book of Gen 2:9, there are three different Form of fruit in that garden, (you can read for personal verification) the first one is [ every tree desirable to one's sight and good for food. This type of food will serve for them as food for consumption.] The second type of fruit is[ the tree of life] as they keep eating this particular fruit, they won't die, but will keep living. The third type of fruit is[ the tree of Knowledge of good and bad] as newly created being God wouldn't instil in them all the knowledge at ones, and he now specifically state that they should not eat from it, maybe as time goes on, they'll be allowed to eat when God sees it due. As God, he has right to give order and it's for their benefit. But remember he knew if they return back into that garden they'd eat from the second fruit-the fruit of life,, so he sent them out, check here Gen 3:22. The eating of that fruit he had forbidden, now prove they prefer listening to satan other than God, so they have to bear the consequences. God would have killed Satan then, Yes, he can do that, but take a look this,, Adam and Eve rebelled against God . In effect, they said: ‘We do not need God as our Ruler. We can decide for ourselves what is right and what is wrong.’ How could God settle that issue? How could he teach all intelligent creatures that the rebels were wrong and that his way truly is best? Someone might say that God should simply have destroyed the rebels and made a fresh start. But God had stated his purpose to fill the earth with the offspring of Adam and Eve, and he wanted them to live in an earthly paradise. (Genesis 1:28) God always fulfills his purposes. (Isaiah 55:10, 11) Besides that, getting rid of the rebels in Eden would not have answered the question that had been raised regarding God’s right to rule. Let us consider an illustration. Imagine that a teacher is telling his students how to solve a difficult problem. A clever but rebellious student claims that the teacher’s way of solving the problem is wrong. Implying that the teacher is not capable, this rebel insists that he knows a much better way to solve the problem. Some students think that he is right, and they also become rebellious. What should the teacher do? If he throws the rebels out of the class, what will be the effect on the other students? Will they not believe that their fellow student and those who joined him are right? All the other students in the class might lose respect for the teacher, thinking that he is afraid of being proved wrong. But suppose that the teacher allows the rebel to show the class how he would solve the problem. GOD has done something similar to what the teacher does. Remember that the rebels in Eden were not the only ones involved. Millions of angels were watching. (Job 38:7; Daniel 7:10) how God handled the rebellion would greatly affect all those angels and eventually all intelligent creation. So, what has Jehovah done? He has allowed Satan to show how he would rule mankind. God has also allowed humans to govern themselves under Satan’s guidance. 1 john5:19 and John 12:31.The teacher in our illustration knows that the rebel and the students on his side are wrong. But he also knows that allowing them the opportunity to try to prove their point will benefit the whole class. When the rebels fail, all honest students will see that the teacher is the only one qualified to lead the class. They will understand why the teacher thereafter removes any rebels from the class. Similarly, God knows that all honesthearted humans and angels will benefit from seeing that Satan and his fellow rebels have failed and that humans cannot govern themselves. Like Jeremiah of old, they will learn this vital truth: “I well know, O God that to earthling man his way does not belong. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.”—Jeremiah 10:23 So that's the reason why God didn't kill him. |
johnydon22:Now I see your point, you're missing something. Satan was still in heaven after man's creation... Show me a bible account that prove that Satan has been sent down before creation. But I'll show you a portion of the Bible that shows that Satan hasn't been sent down after creation. He had the privilege to come down to earth and that was the reason why he was privileged to deceive Adam and Eve, now consider ( Job 1:6&7, that was during the time of Job, examine the conversation that Satan had with God, to show that he still have the privilege to move both in the heaven and right here on earth.). It was when Jesus went back to Heaven then he sent down satan here so that he wouldn't be opportune to get into the heavens again. Revelation 12:7,8,9,and 12. |
johnydon22:I share your view, God will have been dubbed wicked if really he's doing that. But the Bible enable us see that God doesn't temp us with evil. God is love, He never test anyone, Consider this account in the bible: James 1:13 and 14( when under trial, let no one say: I am being tried by God. For with evil things God cannot be tried, nor does he himself try anyone with evil . But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. |
Billyonaire:You are so daft! I'd have taken my time to give detailed explanations from the Bible, but sensed you might just...... ... Well, irrespective of what you'd say, There are readers who could see sense in the this and some, otherwise. A short answer is; The Bible says, Satan is the ruler of the world. bearing that fact in mind, Jesus fought and defeated Satan and hurl him down, because he doesn't worth being in the heavens.. Well, soon God will bring an end to his rulership, Dan 2:44,John 12:31. But detailed explanation will give you more insight. |

so you are implying satan snatched the world God created from God and started ruling it.. and God must kill his son before he can take it back
