Subsidybad21:
No one will buy a liability.

Plus why sell a refinery to an investor and then when he refines fuel, you prevent him from making a profit by subsidising fuel? How would the investor make a profit to maintain the refinery

Someone can still buy. The Land has monetary value, the metals have monetary value, u might say price won't be worth it but don't forget Obasanjo sold it before year Asus reversed the sale. Selling still very possible

Subsidybad21:
To whom?

Who would buy a non functional refinery?

You can't be too sure.....put it up for sale first.

frankmoney:
So it shouldn't be fixed ?

This editorial would have made more sense if screenshot of the comments were included.

Also, if you don't have expensive electricity, don't do inverter AC.

You increase vat by 50% but actual revenue increased by 29%. Should your focus not be on expanding the tax net?

We need more Nigerians to comply with Vat and not an increase in rates.

Thats what firs needs to focus on.

Did we not receive Polio vaccine? TB vaccine? Measles vaccine? Meningitis vaccine?

Nothing makes the Covid-19 vaccine any different from the vaccines we received as infants, which saved billions of lives.
