You do everything online, fill the form and pay for your application fee online. You're not going to email any thing to them, upload the necessary docs required. The final process is using MasterCard/Visa to pay the application fee of CA$75 And for at most 6 weeks for a decision from them. I got my admission in 6th week of my app. Good luck. skymorbabs: HUMBER pple....... pls I need info on hw to pay Humber application fee. As I am confuse wt dis downloaded form. Am I to write my ATM details in d form & email it to them? Or dey hv any oda means of payin it? |

You both shouldn't argue about that... For me, he's 100% correct. favour0011: So guys... am currently having this argument with my sponsor. He says it's incorrect to write his sponsors letter on his employers letter head. That he can only do that if he has his own company and he doesn't have one. He further says that you don't write personal letters on your employers letter head. Is he correct |

I don't even know what to say again. I'm only sure of one thing, God took note of the bold words in your post. That's your express ticket to getting it in your next application. Because you just fulfilled what was written in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Remain thankful, lady Crich!!! Crich: Hello guys. Glory to God. I was delayed yesterday based on four reasons: Insufficient funds, travel history, personal asset, and family ties in Canada n Nigeria.
Truth be told, this CIC style of processing applications for months is the worst ever. They need to review it. Na their mate be USCIS.
So, after rejoicing with you guys and my family for 1 weeks, I received a shocker. Lol! I'm still trying to recuperate. This is a very bad feeling. All guys expecting TRV, my candid advise, to avoid hypertension, kindly prepare for the worst. If you have been called for medical, pls, know that that DOESN'T guarantee a TRV. This is my story.
Chai! So, you guys will be consoling me now. Hahahahahahahahaha! |

Tell them to generate something that can show that you've deposited such amount in your student account, which you can use to facilitate your visa application. Or If you made your payment via wire transfer, add the Telex Copy to your visa application. If the above two suggestions are not application... Print out your account details page in your student account. Explain why you had to print that to the VO in your SOP. My 2cent. onyemamuoc: - yes true I should have but lack of appropriate info. I have contacted the student advisor(pre-nursing), she stressed it's always safer to register for courses when the student is in canada. she also talked about how students after online course registrations, ends up not showing up owing to visa struggles.
-yes I also spoke to the school's financial services requesting a proof of payment for tuition yesterday. She said to produce such I have to register for courses, only then can a receipt specifically for tuition b generated.
-from my research yesterday, I'm up for 15 credit hours per semester and 30 credit hours per session/year.
-My tuition fee is c$7369.00, that's for 30 credit hours.
- I have wired approximately c$11000 to my student account. |

IMO Use the loan to pay for your full tuition and accommodation... Include the receipt for both in your TRV application... How much does your sponsor has in his account? He should then state that (he's already paid for your tuition and accommodation) in his affidavit of support... Then, pledge additional 1million naira for your remaining expenses. With this, you don't have to explain yourself about lodgement nor loan, because after using your account to make all this payments, your SOA ending balance will appear normal. ALSO To cover your tracks, don't let the loan enter your account direct, It should enter your sponsor's account (hope your brother won't mess with it), Your sponsor will then transfer it to your account (which you'll use in paying for your tuition & accommodation), So that, while going through your statement if they notice the amount that entered your account on a particular day, They'll understand it came from your sponsor (your sponsor should use his full name in making the deposit). Immediately after printing your brother's SOA, wire your remaining cash back to your own account to avoid story for the gods. Please don't mind my thoughts if it don't seem good enough.I bow to be corrected by the gurus morgan2006: Good evening, friends.
Please advice me in the best manner possible.
I have access to a loan facility from my place of work and the lodgement would read on my peraonal SOA when I print it out this month as I intend to apply against January 2016 admission.
How best can I explain this lodgement of cash to my account in my SOP? would the VO consider this loan as a burden during my schooling in Canada in terms of paying back? My brother is also a sponsor to me for my program would this loan lodgement seem suspicious.
Any helpful idea/advice is welcomed.
God bless |

There is no ban on the use of MasterCard for ATM withdraws in Canada. We still use our Naija MasterCard over here. Its just a daily limit of $300.
So stop the unnecessary panic

I do get such notification from my bank too. She's been up to date with the recent restriction changes since this year. It happened yesterday and that's her first time of withdrawing for the day. The recent ban is not even my problem for now, just for those leaving soon to know how to package themselves. I hope they've seen my post, it now left for them to confirm it before leaving, for their own good @TheBae and others Have a blissful day!!! ayooluwatoni: Not trying to argue with you o as I'm not in Canada but My bank notified me of the development sometimes ago and I just checked google now, there's nothing like that. Cbn only placed a limit on withdrawals abroad, both on ATM and POS. So their are two possibilities, probably she already exceeded her daily withdrawal limit, or the bank has prob. I stand to be corrected anyway! |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TempusQ(m): 11:35pm On Jul 28, 2015 |
Chars1289: No sir, CBN didn't ban the use of mastercard outside the country. They only instituted new restrictions on atm card usage outside the country. This includes $300 withdrawal limit per day and $15, 000 per annum. In addition, CBN has now instituted a tracking system on the use of naira denominated cards abroad so that any1 that disobey the limit rules will be sanctioned. so no reason to worry. Thanks bro 2 and sis!!! TheBae: Lol it's not possible nah, there's only a limit to withdrawal per day. I still paid some money to a friend's account and she withdrew it to settle some things for me in Canny just last week. The only new thing is that before you travel, it is advisable to inform your bank so they can "open" your card. Got this info from Union and Diamond banks, I don't know about other banks. I'll advise that you check with you bank before leaving. |

A friend in Canada tried using her card, but was unable to withdraw After complaining to her mum, who called her bank to confirm an outright ban.
