@Richnet, adding to what @Laminaria had already pointed out...
Don't be troubled about your IELTS result, it's still good for your current application, provided it didn't expire before you submitted your application
Good luck... |

Oga! I'm sorry to interfere, I think you already know the answer to your question. Or do you think they'll refund you the entire initial cost? Just because you extra marks? Ah haba nah! It's only the remark cost they'll refund you. And yes you can use it for EA assessment. Good luck... chuckdee13: ok thanks for the info...I have 2 questions if u dont mind; can I use this result as it is for EA and what will be refunded to be if I get extra marks, the remark cost or the entire initial cost? thanks for your response. |

Okay sir. I don't know anything about NZ PR processes. It's only OZ I/other gurus here can provide the necessary guidelines for. I hope you've gone through the links. Hope you met the assessing body requirements. You can always ask your questions here or if it's a private one, I just sent you a PM... I salute you, you're my senior as far as Supply Chain is concerned. You've been in it for 7yrs while mine is just 2. Good luck sir... akeenade: As a newbiee to all this I am relying on the expertise of the house to make my decision. I don't really know which is better of the two. But personally I am looking for the most direct and straightforward of the two, easier to settle environment and lower costs of living. In general, they offer almost similar high standards of living. |

I must be frank with you, if you haven't made up your mind on Australia yet. You might also get distracted again when you only want to know the periphery of the process. The truth of the matter is, the process is quite straight forward once you can follow them with the intention of getting your PR, not just knowing them. Check these links to know more about your assessing body and their processes. https://www.aim.com.au/migrationhttp://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/Latestproducts/4D4E2F0CB2E06DD9CA257B950013103D?opendocument Alternatively, check @Jorgan's post above to see if you can get the necessary guidelines you need for NZ, through his contact. If your mind is still on NZ. akeenade: I only assumed NZ would be easier. I was considering Australia too both I was distracted(misled) by an article I read. I haven't made up my mind hence my decision to ask the house. Thanks for the suggestion. So what do I require and how do I even begin? I really appreciate the assistance. |

If I may ask sir, why New Zealand? When you Qualify for Australia. Your occupation is in CSOL as Procurement Manager and/or Supply & Distribution Manager... And I'm sure of two (2) states that can nominate you. If you change your mind feel free to ask your questions here. We're of similar profession, I know a little when it comes to it's processes. Good luck in your quest... akeenade: I know o. Please don't be offended. I just can't find a New Zealand thread. Please direct if there is one.

ideamaster: Curtin University is a good school. We have a couple of Nigerians here too. There are casual jobs in Perth but the limit of 20 hours per week could be a challenge.
However, to make life easy for you, come prepared to do a short course/training in aged care, disability, traffic control or security/crowd control. Any of these certificates would make it easier for you to get jobs. But it means you have to come with enough money and come a bit earlier because some of the courses take between 3 ~ 6 weeks full time.
There are also jobs working as kitchen hands, working in retail, construction etc but they are harder to get. Like how much can one budget for the courses? Thanks! |

1st application (September intake) reasons for denial: 1) purpose of visit 2) travel history 3) family ties 4) personal asset and financial status
2nd Application (January intake) reason for denial: Only (1) Insufficient fund
I used the same documents as in my 1st application to apply for the 2nd time. The only change was my sponsor's SOA increased from 5M to 6M. N/B: I paid full 1st semester tuition. College in Ontario. |

DELAYED 1) Travel history (Applied with a virgin passport) 2) Family ties in Canada and country of residence 3) Purpose of Visit (UG; Logistics Management, Job; Logistics and Supply Chain Management Firm) 4) Personal Assets and financial status.
Humber College Program: Supply Chain Management. Paid Agent (Maple Education) NGN160K + USD1,500 = NGN506,500.
Being delayed is more like a blessing in disguise for me, so, please don't tell me sorry. Although it hurts real bad especially the the money I paid to agent. |
