Wow!!!
what a moniker "TheBae"
wink wink wink
TheBae:

TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TempusQ(m): 12:16pm On Jul 26, 2015
Did I copy you clearly? June or July? Even if it's July...
I can smell dupe...
Locate him, play it cool and make sure you get your pound of flesh
Princepoldi:
Please house , I submitted my study application using an agent who told me he submitted my application on the 11th of June . Up till now I have not received an email for biometrics... Is there a cause to worry ?
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TempusQ(m): 12:16am On Jul 26, 2015
Oga sorry, but, I can't help it.
Check the damn site!!!

grabeconnie:
Thank you brother. What about the biometric for family? I think the have fixed price for family?
TempusQ:
This link will answer your present and some future questions; http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study.asp
grabeconnie:
Please how much for visa application
processing fee, Police report,
Biometrics?
Do you pay for medical too?
ayooluwatoni:
Oga, you can get this info on CIC site na! Well, I did my first police certificate for abt 12k (in 2013, but that was to Russia), did my last (2015) for 6,500 (although I felt cheated, but didn't bother). Medicals should be about 28k, Biometrics should be 85 cad and visa fee should be 150 cad.... if I've not forgotten. But I strongly advise you to visit Canada embassy site, and read every necessaries yourself, it is what you don't understand so well that you should then bring to this house!
grabeconnie:
Thank you brother. I asked this question but not clear with the answer the person gave me. Does your visa application fee covers your family if they are going with you? or I will also have to pay for them?
Thanks for helping out.
ayooluwatoni:
That was why I asked you to check the site yourself, what someone tells u is different from what you see yourself, none of these things is constant. You'll have to pay for everyone following you. You visa fee does not cover any other person's visa, just you and you alone!

Yes

ISTBC!!!
grabeconnie:
So my application processing fee can not cover them?
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TempusQ(m): 1:44pm On Jul 25, 2015
grabeconnie:
I will be going to Bible college in Canada. And I was asked to come along with my family, my question is,

Is it possible to get visa approval for student going with his family?
What are the procedures involved in family application?
Do I have to pay extra fees for family app?

Looking forward to hear from you guys soon.
Good answer to your questions...
If you can handle that, you're good to go...
Good luck!!!

teesboy:
If the bible college is not providing evidence that they will cater for your family then that responsibilty will be your cross to bear, you would be required to provide a bank statement showing enough money to take care of you and your family as well as flight tickets to and back from Canada and you will pay all application fees and medicals fees for you and all your family members also you will show that you all intend to return after the bible college program
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TempusQ(m): 12:12pm On Jul 25, 2015
This should be the second time you posted this and no one has responded.
Maybe no has any idea of what you're or you did to give out more info about your issue.
But, if I got you right; you're asked to come along with your family that you want to use as tie for visa application.

Expatiate on the bold words...
grabeconnie:
am going for theological training in
Missions for Bsc

And the school demanded that I bring
my family, and without pledging to bring
my family they will not issue acceptance
letter
How do I package my visa application?
Because I want to use my family as tie
back home.
Do I have to pay differently for their
application fee like US embassy?
Please I need someone to guide me.

UNDERSTANDING!!!
thesoj:
@myb012 @richcasey @TempusQ
I stand to be corrected. I'll go with @richcasey's suggestion. @richcasey, could you post the CIC website link from which you got the info on changing schools upon landing? I think that would give full confidence and peace of mind to anyone with same issues in the future.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TempusQ(m): 11:52pm On Jul 24, 2015
Thanks!!!
GboyegaD:
Different people visit for different reasons and may choose to study afterwards. Everything is about information and packaging.

I av the acceptance letter for the school in manitoba already for the same start date with the one in Ontario 31st aug
Don't email Accra CIC please,
firstly, make sure you secure your Manitoba admission...
Once you land in ON, go for a refund (digest your ON school refund policy)...
Enter Manitoba, do your registration and inform CIC of your changes.
You'll be fine.

ISTBC!!!
thesoj:
I would recommend you write an email to Accra CIC asking them directly. It won't hurt to just ask them.
Please get back to us once they respond.

If you are scared about the implications of asking directly, maybe you could ask them using an anonymous email address? If I were you though, I would just ask them using my real name, telling them why I changed my mind at the last minute and why the other program is better for me. See what they say. This is the safest approach, and if they say you can do it, make sure you keep the email printout with you during your travel.

Am I the only one reading this...
See another route...
Please share more lights on this...

GboyegaD:
You don't need a U.S. visa since you don't have to go to the U.S. for anything. Once it is approved, you drive to the closest border to you, make a U-turn and that border point becomes your PoE where your study permit will be printed and given to you. I have met a few people who did same.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TempusQ(m): 5:14pm On Jul 24, 2015
For the rest of us that applied within 22-26th of June, get ready for positive response by next week.

Crich:

chrisviral:
Take it from me, don't Thank him yet.
I suggest you don't call anyone (seems to me like a scam waiting to happen, no offence to the guy that gave you d number) I know someone who had almost same issues, just an alphabet was mis-spelt in his passport and he had to go down all the way to Abuja and was charged 80K, no call person, go collect fake passport.
Find your way to Abuja Immigration office, atleast that's what everyone with pp issues here have done.

My two cent.

Did he state whom he'll be leaving your 4 years son to in Nigeria in his LOE?

laureek:
Please can you provide any links if you have or where i can read more on express entry.when they started it, I knew there was something about having a valid job offer in canada. Also, couldn't our son have been a strong tie and enough evidence that he doesn't plan on migrating?

Two wrongs don't make a right. We all rely on each other on this platform to learn and later impart same to newcomers. Let's all try as much as possible to be civil and more matured. Two of you have been great all along and am sure many are already blessed by your contributions so far. Let's not get distracted rather keep the flag flying while those expecting hit their TRV target soonest.

Seriously, this after medical call refusal be like sport betting tension...
After palming 5 matches, remaining 1 match to complete your 6 matches accumulation of US$1,000 return...
At the point of seeing FT for the match that's 1-0 in your favour...
The next thing you see is 1-1 full time...
So annoying...

@hayqinbFX, does that sound familiar? lol

May God help us all!!!

laureek:
Update: Hubbys application (opeyemi8) was refused.he got to the hospital for his medicals and they couldn't pull up his information.went back to check for any updates and discovered a refusal mail was actually sent about 2hrs after he got a a mail to do medicals.
Reason for delay:Purpose of visit ,travel history and they are not convinced he is coming back.
We are refiring of course and thankful as much as we were when he got the medicals.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TempusQ(m): 12:50pm On Jul 21, 2015
@Sjvictor21, choose wisely;

A) Return home (Nigeria) to apply for your Canadian TRV,
in order to have an outstanding reason in convincing VO that you always return to your home country (Nigeria) after your studies,
also, writing your Nigerian Licensing Exam would be an added advantage for your TRV.

B) Apply from Ukraine,
by writing a more convincing LOE or ask @GboyegaD to help you with a redacted copy of the LOE he used, to be more safer.

Wish you best of luck bro,
