Oladipo Olamide popularly known as Chinko Ekun has heaped praise on his former boss, Olamide as YBNL kicks off its UK concert which he will be missing.

Chinko Ekun a student of Law at Obafemi Awolowo University has taken a step to focus more on his studies, after his contract with YBNL expired and wasn't renewed.

Chinko's manager had earlier explained in a chat with media that the young indigenous rapper was not included for the concert also due to his exit from the label. Olamide on his part didn't announce Chinko's exit from YBNL, but the 19-year-old Ondo State star has already removed all details of his old label on his social media accounts, and then finally took to his gram to thank Olamide for giving him a platform and a voice, saying he will be forever grateful to him.

In his words;

@baddosneh gave me a voice when nobody did and put me on . Come rain come shine I am forever grateful for impact in my life !

Olamide has just arrived in UK as he joins his other label mates, Adekunle Gold, Lil Kesh and Viktoh for the much anticipated YBNL Concert.

Hello. Been a while I've been on here. Took me a long while to figure how to create this thread.

So over the years I've been a victim of the bad educational system in Nigeria. So I've come up with a few academic skills or ideas to admission seekers. I hope this works cous am hoping to be an educational consultant

1) Always have a back up plan - The mistake I made all the years of seeking admission was that I relied on only Jamb. And it cost me a lot of years. Jamb is good but make your research on other admission requirements that universities accept. An example is remedial you can enroll for the predegree / remedial program run by the school of your choice. This gives you at least 89% admission chance than Jamb. Also you can use a program like IJMB as a backup plan you might need to know that it was the saving grace for me that earned me my admission finally. And also diploma programs. Though expensive but worth it.

2 Catchment - Try as much as possible to pick a school that your state of origin falls under the catchment area. That way you have a higher chance of gaining admission.

3. Ask questions- Don't just think because you have 5 credits in your O level that you can study any course. Ensure you understand the major course requirements before picking the course on your Jamb slip.

4. Pray - Don't forget the God factor. Just because you were denied admission doesn't mean he has forgotten you. He hasn't. He probably planning the best school for you.

My ignorance made me write UTME 5 times consecutively. Thank God for this advice. I pray one will surely work out by God's grace.

Hello Nairalanders, I'm a 100lvl Student in a University based in the North,I have suffered so much to get admission which I value so greatly...God so good I was given a course I grew to like, but the school unfortunately released our supplementary list about 4 months after the 1st list was released so I came only to find out exams was just few weeks away, I resumed late my parents had to sweat out my fees, I wrote all de exams but I didn't know anything in some my prerequisite... I studied hard but only for me to find a CGP of 1.65 last semester (with 3 CO's, one due to a not registered course) , I'm ready to work hard come this 200h lvl but my question is Should I restart 100 lvl or can I still graduate with a 2nd class upper that I seek despite this poor performance in 100lvl.
