I was so shocked and shamed on hearing that Prof Achebes' alma mater was so dilapidated to the extent that President Jonathan and the President of Ghana had to intervene and promised to provide funds to rehabilitate it!

Also, governance is more than just providing roads; it's more about the economy and positioning the state for accelerated development in all sectors! In this regard, i'd say he's done reasonably well in providing an enabling environment for business and industry, but i'm highly disappointed with the states pathetic IGR as Anambra state should easily be bringing in 5 billion naira monthly.

So, like we see with Akwa Ibom, Lagos and Enugu, can we see evidence of Peter Obis' sterling work these past 8 years?


PS- it should be noted though that he's gone into overdrive in the past few months, but cynics would be forgiven for thinking it has something to do with the upcoming elections!

It's an open fact dat Mr Peter Obi has won so many awards in terms of Good governance n state enhancement of most sectors of the state..
And it's also well known that some group of people don't like or support his pattern of Governance which blindfolds them from seeing the radical social reform in the state.

Come to think of it again,the states you mentioned above are not in the same level of development,either are they even in terms of state allocation.
And on the issue of Prof Achebes' alma mater,I believe that Prof.Achebe is a Nigerian & he has brought so many honors to Nigeria as a whole not just Anambra state in particular and he deserve much due from FG as a mark of honor for a successful life well spent(may his soul RIP)
FG owe him that much & the state government might as well do the little they could as a mark of respect..
Mr Peter Obi has driven the state this far without lagging in any sector of the state...

My Opinion;I think MR.Peter Obi has done well so far for the people of Anambra state,looking at his achievement in the Economic sector,Education sector,infrastructural developments in Anambra state.(I stand to be corrected).
This makes me to wonder;is there a hidden fight going on between the two parties?
Or is it just a mere politics as usual were one try's to again favour of the upcoming candidate?
