Zita86: Please how about Ethiopian baggage requirements, how is it like? On their site the specified box for free luggage is almost as small as the hand luggage. I intend using a duffel bag as it is lighter and contains more. Will I have any problems checking in my luggage? You can use a duffel bag provided it doesn't exceed the weight requirement |

Fulani14: Thank you so much My tuition for first semester is close to 6M, the tuition deposit for college is there too,i am trying to avoid paying the first semester fees. Also please is there any college that doesnt require high tuition deposit and does not insis2we pay the rest of the tuition on the day of resumption?,please help me. Only cheap colleges in Canada I know of are NBCC, NSCC, and Holland college. But I don't think those are currently admitting international students. I thought university of Manitoba was quite cheap. How much is your entire first semester tuition (deposit included) in CAD? |

Princeofabia: yes..exactly...Do I need transit visa? I can't say with certainty, but I want to believe as long as you'll be stepping out of the airport completely, you might need a transit visa |

Ayobamiaz: Please do I need a transit visa for this … But I've answered you already. This flight has a stop in the USA, so you'll need a transit visa. Let me give you a tip for booking. Go to wakanow Search by the date you intend to travel. The only flight you should consider that has more than 1 stop is Ethiopian airways Filter by number of stops (1 stop) Filter by Ethiopian (cos of adis ababa and Dublin stops) Compare prices Play around with the date to see if you can get cheaper options. Also, you might want to play around with the departure locations i.e Lagos, Abuja etc. Some airlines like Lufthansa are slightly cheaper when departing from Abuja When you find a price and flight that suits you, go to their website directly. You may be required to pay in dollars You can use a dollar card, a virtual dollar card, or ask a friend abroad to pay for you If you can't pay in dollars, kuku go back to wakanow and pay in naira (slightly higher) |

Ayobamiaz: So which is the best airline to go with that doesn’t need a transit visa There are lots of airlines that don't require transit visa depending on the route. It's best to watch out for the routes. For example, Egyptair can have flights going to Canada but have different layovers. You can check KLM, Ethiopia, Egyptair, Lufthansa, British Airways, there's one that stops at Paris I can't remember the name. Ethiopian airways can have 2 stops (Adis Ababa and Ireland) but provided only one European country is involved, it's fine |

Ayobamiaz: To anyone traveling and have booked his/her ticket abeg which is the cheapest and the best airline to go with ..I will be going to Toronto…am seeing Egypt air for 1.4 million passing through New York (will I need a visa ) You'll need transit visa if it has layover in the USA You'll need transit visa if it also has more than one layover in Europe. |

Because am checking their site now it is similar to chippers, it is more of sending money to F&F. pls kindly give more details about it Yeah you can use it to make fees payment. Kinggame1: The police character clearance. Please how much does it cost to get it here in ibadan. You can apply online. The price is 30k. Then go to their office for capturing. That way you'll avoid heavy billing. Going to their office to book directly, they'll bill you heavily. Going only for capturing, they'll still want to extort you but you can beat it down and give them 3 to 5k |

JMG12: If the agent is refusing to bend to him. Let him get a new passport then submit it for stamping, he should initiate the linking of the portal as directed. Cut the agent off, but make sure the new passport get to the ircc before the due date. Let him start all process immediately and send pic to the agent when he arrive in Canada. Thanks. He doesn't want the visitor visa again. He'll get a new password incase his job offer comes through so he can apply for work visa himself |

Bobomaigida: Why are they having issues, didn't they have an agreement of what each party is to do? It looks as if there was not plan. Since there is a dispute, he can involve the police to possibly help with resolution, lon and short is that he will spend money, but not up to that N3.5mm They had agreement for a work visa which clearly the agent failed to deliver. When the PPR came for the VV, agent called my friend threatening that if he doesn't send his passport he'll get blacklisted. My friend never had any agreement with the agent for a visitor visa, only work visa. All means of negotiating with the agent to bring down the price have failed |

zubizareta: Does he have the UCI number? If yes, I think he should just open a new portal acct, fill the immigration forms with his former UCI number and the portal will be automatically linked with the previous portal with regards to not having to do another biometrics. What I am not sure of is if the new portal will display previous history of applications So I just spoke to him. He has the UCI number. Unfortunately, he sent his passport to the agent to have his visitor visa stamped. Agent is demanding for 3.5m to be paid in full before releasing the passport or they'll ensure he gets a ban. I advised him to get a police report stating his passport is missing. That way, he can send a webform to IRCC stating his current IRCC account has been compromised and tender the police report. That should mitigate any plan the agent has in getting him banned. Then, he can apply for a new passport and start the new visa application process afresh. Your thoughts please... Bobomaigida |

tenderjunkie: A friend of mine used an agent to apply for a visitor visa. However there was a fallout with the agent.
Now he's interviewing for some sponsored jobs and the chances of getting an offer is very likely.
He wants to have access to his portal but it is unlikely the agent will release the details.
Can he create a new account and ask IRCC to link it to the old one?
If not, what are his options? Help needed Predator188 Bobomaigida zubizareta |
