Martin6004: Hi Guys.
I did an upfront medicals and submitted with my application . Yet, I got a medical request to go and do medicals. I have re-upload the medical sheet and my medical status has been showing ‘in progress’ since then. It’s about a week now.
Do I need to go and request for my result from IOM in person because I have sent mails to confirm if they uploaded my results but I didn’t get any response.
Please advise. You don't need to go to their office. Since medical status is showing 'in progress ' it means IRCC have received it |

Kalclinton: When i got to that part it just displayed the card slots for me to put in my card details. It didn't give me an option of fly wire or bank transfer which was strange to me. How can you be operating on international grounds without providing suitable means for people in that country to make payment
Also, At what rate was this sum gotten from please. And it's $150CAD for the application fee not $1500CAD thank you. Oh sorry. I was thinking you wanted to pay your tuition deposit |

Kalclinton: Hello everyone. Please i want to submit my application and make the payment of the 150CAD My question is can i use my nigerian debit card to make the payment or it must be a US or canada credit or debit card 2ndly can someone help me with the ideal equivalent of the 150CAD in naira What is the naira value of 150CAD or what is the current exchange rate calculated at.? Thank you. If you're using flywire, there's an option to pay in naira. Depending on your card limit, you can pay with your card or do a bank transfer. However if you decide to pay in USD, your naira card won't work. As at the time of typing, the naira equivalent of 1500 CAD is N880,390 |

ShowYoung: Kindly request for the GCMS notes, 15m that is your own is different from 15m that belongs to your sponsor.
There are ways to address issues and arrange documents when it comes to sponsorship.
Each case is different.
Also, your program cost, program duration among others are crucial factors.
Another thing to consider is whether or not your sponsor deposited that money into your account and back it up with valid documents.
Also, does your sponsor have an unexplained lump sums?
People who used sponsorship with just 10m have gotten visa approvals. Everything depends on your approach. If I may add, it is also necessary to prove that the sponsor's responsibility won't have a negative effect on his/her standard of living. |

Pepman: Hello people,
Has anyone heard or be in situation before? After PPR and Student visa has been given for a 1 year course, the school wrote that they have insufficient space in the program and now transferred the applicant to a new program which is a 2-year course. They issued him new LOA and payment receipt. He paid full fee for the 1-year program and the school transfer this for payment of 1st year of the 2-year program
How would this situation be explained at the POE? Will he be given 1-year study permit or 2-year. It's not a common situation and be great if anyone can share advice or experience. Abeg which school is this? |

Keshi4: ..how long do u think the April will be out..also can it affect the visa application since evidence of payment is not attached yet. I don't know how fast GTB processes form A, but judging from your first initiation to the time they called you in April it might be within 2 to 3 months. Also, concerning visa application, people have gotten their visas approved without paying tuition. You should be more concerned about paying the tuition before the deadline |

Egypt Air seems to be the cheapest right now. But someone said that you will be required to buy the round trip, how true is this information?
What platforms have you used so far for flight purchases, I checked throughout the night surfing for cheap flights. The ones that I found in transit are in the US, and I do not have a US visa, so it is a no-go area.
And I want to say this, if you have received your visa, please don't wait till ooo. Flight tickets are skyrocketing every day. Please disregard that round trip information. It is very false |

BenedictStinson: Hey guys landed in London Ontario about a month ago. So far it has been hard to get a job and GTB told me they had reduced upkeep from Form A to only 600usd per quarter. So my foreign currency is a little scarce and I don't want to spend it all buying food when I still have rent and the rest to pay. So I thought about shipping food from Nigeria but the price DHL gave my people over N200,000 just for items bought less than N70,000 seems expensive so does anyone know a reliable cheaper shipping method from Nigeria (Abuja) to Canada? How about getting food items from grocery stores? You should be able to prepare stew to eat with rice, pasta, and beans |
