colored: Please which colleges that are DLIs charge less than CAD15k for tuition? I want to apply for a 2 year diploma program and I can't afford tuition of 15k+ for two years You can checkout NSCC and NBCC. They offer 1yr postgraduate programs that cost less than 15k cad. |

Also if you decide to email the landlords, do so using your student mail. Most landlords don't respond to mails that don't belong to the institutions |

thebabiebird: Abeg, someone should help with how I can go about booking a flight to Canada. I don't want to have issues of transit Visa. I want to try Air France, but I'm not sure if that would require transit Visa. I know transit in the USA is a NO NO. please guys Transit in the US us a No as you rightly said Transit in more than one European country is a No. So your flight should have only one transit in a European country |

ShowYoung: You may target by population of the city. Cities with population of 300k and more are good. Note that rent increases in proportion to the population of city. Also, do not overlook the small towns.
Perhaps you may want to redefine what you call "student job" and do things differently.
In my opinion, Kitchener has more population than Cambridge.
Tips:
1. You may target jobs like customer care rep., call center agent, PSW, HSW, DSW, production/manufacturing job (this is high energy intensive but pays well), sales rep. etc.
2. Remove your bachelor degree or HND from your CV, use High School Cert or 2 year post secondary diploma at maximum: else, they would say you are overqualified. Nobody is going to call you.
3. Have each CV tailored to each job role. Thanks alot |

As an international student, owing to the scarcity of student jobs in the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge region, will Cambridge be a better option to finding student jobs? Maybe as a result of not having as many students compared to the other regions? |

The mail I received was from previous application. When did you pay? Did you receive a receipt from flywire? It takes a couple of business days for your institutions to receive payment from flywire. |

1. If I do two 8 months(Graduate certificate) course or study for two academic years back to back in Canada, then will I be eligible to get a work permit of 16 months or 3 years
I have an option to do a 3 years course but the POF is too big as I have to show 2 years worth of POF. I need an answer please Yeah. 8 months course qualifies you for 1yr PGWP If you do two 8 months courses, it qualifies you for 3 yrs PGWP |

dtrixna01: Hi guys. What way can I transfer my naira money to my Canadian acc OPTION 1Convert the naira to USD via black market Pay the USD into your domiciliary account. Hopefully you travelled with your usd card. You can withdraw usd at certain ATMs Take to your bank and convert to CAD OPTION 2Initiate upkeep/maintenance via Form A and attach the required documents. Leave the money in your naira account until debit you and credit your CAD account. However this process takes a while |
