To the best of my knowledge your husband can reapply for his visa especially if it will expire soon and you become his dependant. A friend of mine did it and it work after the first refusal. Good luck |

U re a darling......muahhhhh 9jabiggurl: @ Julietjay.
Highlight your questions here and we would try to take it one after the other....I understand its not an easy task to read from page 1 especially with the preggy hormones that can throw you off balance.....
First of all do you have a Visa and you require Hospitals, doctors, etc or you want to know how to go about applying for a Visa? Please respond to this thread and avoid PM's so other newbies like you can also learn from this page especially when they can not go back to read through the whole thread.....[/b] |

Tnx sweetie...I have the book oooo...very cool...and a louder amen to ur prayers for me...God bless u 9jabiggurl: u r welcome....grab this book supernatural childbirth...it helped me through my pregnancies after i lost my first preggy at 6months but God in his infinite mercies gave me 2 boys in the space of barely 2 years after that ordeal that almost took my life.... (they have just 14months in between them, but i just generally claim 2 yrs btwn them as my 1st was 2012 Nov and 2nd was 2014 Jan)
my Advice, be prayerful, and be not afraid about Fibroid...i had multilple fibroids all through my preggy period but just about 2 weeks ago i went to the hosp and no record showed i had fibroids....just hang on to God. I had my 2 boys womanly(1st 8pounds/3.8kg, 2nd 9.4pounds/4.2kg) It could only have been God trust me.......You will deliver safely and carry your baby back from america in good health, even you will be in better health..... |

My sincere appreciation goes to those that have responded to my earlier post regarding d fibroid issue...am really glad u pple re doing this to help pple...am sure someone else here has thesame or similar issue and has learnt from ur wonderful responses... Am much relieved now that I know that its nothing to worry about and am leaving God to take charge of the rest. Am much based on cs cos I had my first baby 5yrs ago tru same process and I don't think I want to experience that labour experience again as the one I had then wasn't good at all....except I get that divine miracle(moment u re already placed on bed for cs and the doctor just found out ur baby's head is out...then push for 2/5mins...lol)nothing impossible for God to do..trusting him on that... Thank you once again my pple...God in his infinite mercy will bless and keep us all save during our preggy days and after delivery |

Tnx for that...all my enquires are based on c:s cos av have done one before... shelly23: It shouldn't be a problem, but my sis in law had a similar issue last year and had to do an emergency c-section cos the fibroid was hindering her baby's oxygen or something. She ended up with a $23k bill cos her baby was also placed in the nicu for 2 days to stabilise her breathing. They ended up beating the bill down to $17k and had to spread payment over many months.
I'll suggest to talk to your doctor about having a CS (if you haven't already) to avoid any emergency or unforseen costs. |

Don't mind me...I always forget anytime we talk on phone or chat... seemorejoy: @ raii that's good gathering arsenals. But I will advise you go alone this time. And I believe there won't be refused or denied.
@tenic9 I dey sorry for your health you did not tell me earlier self. God will help us. I don't want you to stess at all let's go TX. |

Tnx so much bloggerina: Hello, No it will not add to your bills in any way. Nothing to worry abt. If the fibroids were an issue you won't have conceived in the first place. Drink lots of water, eat & rest well. You'll be alright. When you are done with childbearing you can choose to remove your fibroids but for now, nothing do you. Cheers |

Good mrn house...thank God am finally out of the hsp after 3weeks of bed arrest...pls I have a question... Has anyone with fibroid issue during pregnancy had their baby in us....I want to know if there is additional bill attached to this....I did some scans during my stay in the hsp and they found out I av a 24mm sized fibroid in me..I think it was the cause for the spotting I had that took me to d hsp...though my doc said its nothing to worry abt as d size is very small and it hardly grows with the pregnancy(+ my personal findings on d internet) I really want to know if this will not add much to my bills ..thnx in advance for ur kind response... |

Nairaland has been a great blessing to me too..let me add my experience that's almost like tvegas.. Immediately I got preg..I contacted a woman on d island to help me on how to get a visa and I declared my reason...this woman works at d embassy o(according to info gathered)she went tru my passport and d histories are 1 visit to dubai and a visa refusal at d Dublin embassy some yrs back...and also passport expires next year Feb.. This woman said I must get the Dublin visa first and also visit before I can use my passport for applying and also I will av to wait till next year that my passport expires before I can renew it...I asked how much she charges...she said she will take 500k for helping me.... Thank God I found myself here... Tvegas: You are welcome to the thread. I will start by saying the days of packaging pregnancies at the POE is far gone, but a lot of people still do it. Even though the USA does not advertise Birth Tourism, however it is not illegal to give birth in the USA if you can convince the Border Officer with Dr's appointment and cash. Dont let anyone mislead you because you will hear a lot of wrong information out there.
Take my case for instance, I met an elderly friend at the American ambassador's residence on July 1st,during the independence day celebration. He is a commercial attache at the US embassy but knows nada about the birthing process. I told him about my plans to birth in the USA and he warned me not to follow wifey for her interview, that they may cancel my visa and that wife should package her pregnancy at the POE. Whose words was i suppose to believe,if not him?. Luckily i stumbled on this thread took my time to read and applied everything. Its even easier for you because you have a visa already, notify the embassy of your plan. You will be travelling by the 7th/8th month, so you have at least 2 months to read this thread and jot down all the information needed. Wish you the best. |

Thank you madameu.... He replied back ......"""Kindly bring your results with you at your first visit. No prepayments accepted and appointments are made after arrival in Houston. All you need for the embassy and POE are copies of our email communications, the attachment and your funds in cash."""""" Am now a bit confused cos I read here that 3 things from d doc re very important wen going for interview..appointment letter, letter of responsibility and email correspondence ... Now he stated I will need only the email conversations..pls those that av been to d embassy say something
Madam the Dr hasn't told you anything wrong. Print out the outline of payments expected that he sent to you as well as your correspondence with him; that is very sufficient for your application. |

But I feel you should have shared your POE story at once to educate others instead of postponing it so those travelling won't harbor fears for POE. Please is the promo still on going?
I called wakanow requesting for the promo package, I was asked to send an email, which I did.I got a response few hours later, the cost the gave me was N666210, for United. Meanwhile I asked for Delta 'promo' economy and the cost for upgrade to premium economy.

Doing better..tnx @Tvegas..thanks for d info Tvegas: @Tenic09 hope you feel better. Paying bills doesn't have significant effect at the Nigerian embassy. At the POE such evidence may help. You need to provide sufficient proof that you will return after your treatment. I.e proofs that you and your mum qualify for an NIV visa. Cheers |
