We must crowdfund young politicians. If one internet can fake cancer and raise millions from young Nigerians how much more something as important as this |
Politics › Why Youths Can’t Assume Public Office: What We Must Do by terrence12(op): 4:58pm On Apr 15 |
We need to talk, fam.
Right now, if you’re young and want to run for office in Nigeria, it feels like they’ve already locked the gate. Form money alone fit make you faint. You need millions just to pick up paper. Then add logistics, security, posters, data for live streams, fuel to even meet the people you want to serve, consultations — which Nigerian youth has that kind of money lying around?
So what happens? Our smart guys and babes with real ideas, the ones who actually use public transport and know fuel prices, the ones who’s future is being truncated, they just step back into the shadows. Not because dem no sabi politics, but because the system was built to keep us broke and outside. Unable to make any real changes.
And we see the result every day. Same old people, same old excuses, same old wahala. We drag them on Twitter, we shout for podcast, then on election day we either vote with headache or just stay house dey watch.
But look around — we plenty. We are literally hundreds of millions strong if we decide to move. If I bring ₦1000, you bring ₦1000, your guy brings ₦500, your sister brings ₦5k — do the maths. That’s half a billion naira just from change we can find under our beds.
We no need one big oga to come and save us becos dem no go come. We be our own rescue team. Imagine if we picked 10 solid young candidates across Nigeria, vetted them wella, and said “we dey your back.” We fund them. We campaign for them online and offline. We protect our votes. Suddenly, running for office no be impossible mission again. In three election cycles we go don produce 30 solid leaders with vision and passion for our growth.
This is bigger than 2027. This is us deciding that we’re done being benchwarmers in our own country. No more “God abeg” while we watch people with zero ideas buy their way into power.
N1000 from 500,000 Youths. That’s the code. Small money. Big movement. Our future.
1k is not enough for monthly sub, but it is enough to transform our nation.
If you’re tired of complaining, this is how we move different. Are you in? Then DM to join our WhatsApp group👍🏽✊🏾

Politics › Re: Sanwo-Olu Inaugurates Agric Products Export To China by terrence12(m): 5:41pm On Oct 08, 2024 |
Heffalump: Feed yourself first before export.
At a point when there's so much hunger in the country, we have to prioritize local availability of agricultural products before exporting to foreign lands if we don't want to die of hunger.
Foreign earning is good, but not on empty stomach. Export has to be capacity driven. My brother, don't waste your breath. all these governments are clout chasers, trying to look active, but nothing come out |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Elon Musk Is Offering $47 To Refer People To Sign His Petition by terrence12(m): 1:43pm On Oct 07, 2024 |
Namaster: America love and WORSHIP their billionaires. Even when said billionaires are practically FUCCKING up their countries.
Musk is using money he made in America to work against America and Biden and the rest of the Democrats are looking like MORONS.
They are busy doing the "decent thing" and "taking the high road" while people like Musk, Thiel and, the worst of them all, Trump trample on their laws.
The BULK of MUSK's wealth exist because of the US government.
To OBLITERATE his wealth and make them DISAPPEAR would be a child's play.
First of all, his SpaceX is a Military Contractor that gets it's contracts from the US government. He needs government clearance to work in Spacex.
Revoke his clearance and REPEAL his contracts with the government and SpaceX is COMATOSE.
Ongoing contracts can be handled by Virgin Galactic, Blue Origin and NASA. Plus, the smart people that work in SpaceX will find their ways to those companies.
Then there is Tesla. To KILL this company will be so hilariously easy.
Right now, the regulations regarding IMPORTING EVs to the US are TOUGH and RIDICULOUSLY insane.
For instance, importing Chinese EVs that completely BLOWS out Tesla would attract an import duty of 100%.
Laws like that favour Tesla.
All the government need to do is RELAX those stringent laws. Remove the 100% import duties on Chinese EVs or reduce it to about 10%.
Flood the market with CHEAP and BETTER EVs and Tesla is KAPUT.

Tesla's whole selling point was to provide cars that use RENEWABLE energy for the purpose of combating Climate Change.
Now Elon Musk is in league with people who say Climate Change is a HOAX. And he's even gone to the extent of saying Climate Change is "not so bad".
Couple that with how EXPENSIVE Teslas have become, killing it off would be super easy.
Twitter is NOT profitable. And a closer inspection of Neuralink would easily reveal enough violation to kick him off the company.
But Biden is WEAK.
The Democrats need to be MORE ruthless and VINDICTIVE when dealing with people like Musk and Trump. When you pay Satan to destroy the devil... They are all in one big organization! |

Rossikk: This country will shake the world.
In fact we're already shaking the world.
But more to come.
See how Dangote Refinery is making the whole world tremble, especially Europe.
What will they say when we now complete our 35 billion dollar gas pipeline that is heading straight to Europe as we speak?
That will end Russia's status as the monopoly supplier to Europe, and triple our annual income.
We better go and start adding nuclear capability to our military.
Because I don't think Putin is finding all these moves by Nigeria funny at all.
I'm sure he's sitting somewhere laughing and saying ''see small nyash dey shake''.
But we go show am say Naija no dey carry last. |

Can You Not Pass Your Message Without Insulting Anyone ?
Where is Your Humanity And Sanity?

Politics › Re: Nasarawa Youths Shun Hunger Protest by terrence12(m): 8:29pm On Aug 01, 2024 |
Chinkoalhaji34: Those Nasarawa youths are wise. Why protest over hunger when we can address the root causes instead? Protests without solutions are just noise. Let them focus on real change rather than following the crowd. Hunger is a serious issue, but shouting in the streets won't fill their stomachs. Time to think deeper, not just act. You're delusional |
Politics › Re: Submit Proposals Not Protest: How Can You Lead A People That Don't Even Know ... by terrence12(m): 12:53pm On Aug 01, 2024 |
sIfioksq: These people think shouting in the streets will solve their problems. Protests don’t build roads or create jobs; they just create chaos. Instead of wasting time on the streets, they should be sitting down and crafting real proposals that can actually bring about change. Leadership is about vision, not noise. If they focused on tangible solutions instead of empty slogans, maybe we’d see some progress. But no, they prefer to play the blame game while the country continues to suffer. You idiot, do you think what we are lacking in Nigeria is good ideas? What we are lacking is useful leaders who's priorities aren't stealing and diverting public funds. Shut the hell up until you come here and show your government approved proposal. Coward! |
Politics › Re: Submit Proposals Not Protest: How Can You Lead A People That Don't Even Know ... by terrence12(m): 12:50pm On Aug 01, 2024 |
Salewa97: If you ask me, all this protest wahala na just noise. Instead of wasting time on the streets, these people should be drafting proposals wey fit make sense. How can you be leading a people wey no even know wetin dem want? Dem go just dey shout without a plan. If na me, I go focus on solutions rather than forming agitation. Na why we dey suffer for this country; everybody dey carry protest like say e go solve our problems. Proposals fit lead to actual change, but protests just dey scatter everywhere without direction. Leaders wey no fit articulate what dem want no fit lead anybody. Na only noise dem sabi make. How many proposals have you submitted, and how many have been approved? You imbecilic element. So the bloody government raised all that rabble in 2023 to enter office just for them to look to the people for Leadership advice? How many special advisers does that good for nothing fellow in ASU Rock have, so all his life being a part of Nigeria politics he still doesn't know what the challenges of Nigerians are. We should kuku tell him how to clean his anus after defecating. I don't blame you sha, apparently foolishness for you is genetic |
Politics › Youngest Nigerian Politician Declares Support For August Protests by terrence12(op): 12:38pm On Jul 28, 2024 |
Prince Obasi, a medical practitioner and the NNPP house of assembly candidate for the cross river state parliament has declared his support for the planned nationwide protests to end hunger and suffering. In the video posted on his Facebook page he stated that the fear that the protests are bound to lead to anarchy are baseless and unfounded considering the fact that whatever anyone damages in Nigeria is directly affecting the person himself. In his words..."our families, parents, siblings and colleagues are here in Nigeria, why will anyone seek to burn down Nigeria when their loved ones are in this same nation." Furthermore he called on all Nigerians from all ages and geographics to join the protests as it is a continuation right of every citizen in a democratic society.
