Testimony time

I just had my first big sale on fiverr.

It wasn't easy I must say. At first the buyer wanted voice over, recall I asked for how I could go about it and louie3 gave us a tutorial on natural voices which was what I used.

After the first delivery, the buyer requested a modification.

If you see the list eh, very long, and then she said some parts of the voice over sounded robotic. I was really depressed. I thought of cancelling, so as to avoid a low rating but something told me to keep trying.

To cut the long story short, since Friday, I have been modifying and she had been rejecting asking for more modification. Infact, I learnt a lot of things I could do with explaindio on my own from this gig alone. Fast forward to yesterday, she said I should remove the voice over and background music cos she just paid a seller for that, then do a little modification.

After sending the final modified video, she gave me a 5 star positive review(I didn't even ask for a review, infact I had zeroed my mind already that she was probably going to give me a 3 star review at the most) and said she loved the video and I did a wonderful job. The most interesting part, she also sent me the script to do another video for her!

Who says there's no God

I decided to share this for those who always think of giving up when things get so difficult, Don't give up, keep on trying, you don't know what God has in store for you. Imagine if I had asked for a cancellation? Probably would have been slammed with 1 star review

Apologies for the epistle. I just wanted to share this cos I owe my success to this thread. Oga Venzal, where are you ooo. Special thanks to you too. Another person I need to thank is hazzantazzan. I'm sure he'd be surprised when he sees the mention Bros, mention me when you see this and I'll tell you why.

More success to us!

so fiverr now monitors travelling time and asks you question before deporting you ahbi

issokay, kwantinue, Buhari would catch you soon

khassy:
To your 48 hours question! The "REASON" for that is like you travelling from the country your Ip routed you to, back to nigeria!

Ps: It takes 13hours from USA to nigeria! So 48hours is an ideal time to login to your new account...Helpful?

$400 at least, programmers can charge so make sure you have someone to outsource it to and negotiate first with the person before accepting any offer.

hiigh fee tells the buyer you are a pro.

khassy:
if you send the working app, cant he just get away with it??

top rated sellers are very difficult to please so be sure you know your job very well ooo

TESTIMONY
So I have been hearing about fiverr for long but thought it was a hell of difficult task. On the 31st of July I found this thread and sat down to read from page 1 to last. I didn't sleep that night. On first of August I stormed fiverr and created www.fiverr.com/oliwrites I just knew I was heading for the kill. My first encouragement was when I asked for a review here and got all the heads up like 'guy your profile standard die.' So I got my first order which I never completed yet the guy paid $10 and gave me 5 star. (you will recall when I begged for help with landing page. Lol. Then I bought one review from one beauty(something) here. After her review every other thing was a hit back to back.

That account has earned me up to 100k within a space of two weeks. I have also become a level one seller today. I get orders everyday. Not just $5 ooo. I mean orders....
Thanksto the OP for the push. Heading for Level two soonest. I'm grateful to every other person here.

Please somebody help, most times when I try to visit fiverr, it keeps giving me "403 Forbidden
Request forbidden by administrative rules. ". What could be the cause of this and whats the solution?

HazzanTazzan:
Learn music production using fl studio then outsource the vocals to someone on Fiverr with american accent

HazzanTazzan:
When I started offering jingles on Fiverr, I was using our local vocals but discovered the rate of rejection was high so I opted for a US vocalist while I just make the music for the jingle...
Since then, its been topnotch

Datazone:
Guys I want to pay for a service on Fiverr. When I placed an order, I saw only payment via Paypal and Credit Card. My question is , can the newly approved Nigerian PayPal credit my Fiverr account?

HazzanTazzan:
Note: you have to tell client to hold on so you can review the request and come back with a quote... How much did u charge him set? U said u already have the order...

A colleague of mine who is a web developer is presently handling a similar request and I must say, the buyer is showing much appreciation...

If you can negotiate well with buyer, I can link you up with this colleague of mine... So you can give him the job and get your cut
