Fellow tenants, Do you ever wish you had been better informed before taking up your current rented residence? Have you had any experiences, good or bad, you would like to share about where you live currently or have lived in the past? If your answer is yes to any of these questions, you now have a chance to search for and share experiences about living in rented property in Nigeria! I noticed until now that there was no platform for tenants to write about their living situations. So let's not just complain about landlords and poor housing situations. Let's do something about it. Submit a review at NaijaPropertyReviews(dot)com. Be the change that Nigeria needs to improve the standard of living for tenants. Don't let landlords get away with the many injustices they inflict on tenants. On the flip-side, celebrate property that offers quality. Those stories should also not go untold. Visit Naijapropertyreviews(dot)com! Yours truly, A concerned citizen |
Please does anyone have the dragnet past questions? please email to dare_oluwajehinsan@yahoo.com. Thanks! |
Aha. Lest I forget, PLEASE TAKE ALL YOUR ORIGINAL CREDENTIALS TO YOUR SRD (WAEC, BIRTH CERT, UNDERGRAD CERT, NYSC, PROFESSIONAL EXAMS, PASSPORT PHOTO). They NEED to be sighted. Some people nearly got disqualified for not bringing theirs. Shell won't pay for your accommodation / transportation until after the SRD. You'll be asked to send in a claims form documenting your transportation and accommodation expenses. You'll be given a briefing pack once you're invited for the SRD. Please practice the etray exercise there. It will help you get familiar with that particular exercise. Other than that, keep a cool and clear head, relax and show your worth. Good luck. |
On the SRD: Like many of us here, I was looking for information on the SRD, doing all I could to prepare. Well I've just gotten back from mine and all I can tell you is: THERE IS NO REAL WAY TO PREPARE FOR THE SRD. It is a daunting 12-hour day full of assessments: online, written, reflective, case study, presentation, question&answer sessions and a competency based interview. REMAIN CALM AND JUST BE YOURSELF. The interview will expose all your strengths and maybe some of your flaws. Because it takes place over a long period of time, there's not much else you can do. Just do the best you can. As I said before, as for preparation, don't bother yourself too much. Just go there and show what you're made of. Good luck everyone. |

My status still says under review..wondering what shell are up to this time aroundLammy, they only sent the invitation for the SRD. The news on the date and venue have still not been divulged. It was the same thing after the assessment stage. They tell you you'll be notified by a scheduling coordinator in the "near future". With about a week to go, they then send you the details of when and where the next stage will take place. |
dademonie: What role did Ʊ apply for?I applied for a commercial role in IT with supply chain & distribution as my 2nd choice. I have no news on the date of the SRD for now. |

I had my telephone interview on Wednesday this week and I got the invitation for the SRD today, after only 2 days! I almost had a heart attack when I read it because I really thought the telephone interview didn't go well. My interviewer said I spoke too fast and there were many pauses on her end (she warned me that she would be taking notes and hence that might happen). Questions were typically about competencies: Your greatest achievement, how you cope under pressure, how you work in a team and solicit feedback, how you make team mates feel important and useful, your career aspirations within shell etc. Hope this helps someone. I'm gathering info to prepare for the SRD immediately. Will share if I find anything interesting. Good luck. ![]() |
First off, I am not a lesbian. I am a guy. I have a friend who had a lesbian experience a while ago and wants to do it again. She's Nigerian, 21 years old and is a student in London. Any lesbians or bisexual ladies in London who are interested in meeting up with her for some fun should please get in touch with me. Once I can confirm that you're a London based female, I will send you her number and a photo or two so you can reach her yourself. Only serious responses please. Thanks for your cooperation. |
Idowuogbo:Let's just do like the Plateau state government and have a PDP 2. Translation: Midlands ppl should just plan their own thing, ![]() |
There should be 2 events - 1 in london and another in B'ham! I'm for B'ham though |
Depending on your class of degree, you have a few options in the UK: For a first class (or maybe a 2.1 with exceptional academic references) you could get university sponsored scholarships for select courses at Universities of Nottingham (Developing Solutions Africa Scholarship that covers between 50% and 100% tuition fees) and Dundee (up to 50% tuition fees). Some other universities like Bournemouth also have gr8 scholarships for exceptional international students. It is important though to check the ranking of any school you apply to. Make sure they are in the top 50 in the UK |
