The police service commission has yet again embarked on the recruitment of about ten(10) thousand young and eligible Nigerians into the Nigeria police force to burst the manpower of the rank and files (constables). This no doubt is a good call, The process is via the internet which makes it seems transparent. However the question is, where is the place of merit,equity and fairness to all Nigerians irrespective of tribes,religion and backgrounds.? Filling the form online was so easy, the challenge comes from the guarantors form that was printed.
The guarantors are two A and B. The criteria that will qualify each guarantor are so ambiguous and outrageous, i.e must be your Traditional ruler, magistrates, local government chairman,Head of institution attended,carrier civil servants not below level 12,police officer of not less than CSP or military officer from the rank of lieutenant colonel.
As if just appending their signatures isn't enough,the have to photocopy their ID cards,give their homes and offices address,in their own handwritings,also their phone numbers and passport photographs
please for the sake of humanity, This practically indebting or subjecting us to the
hands of a Godfather,which will not allow for passionate aspirants such as myself into the NPF to either shy away, or not to be completely loyal or give our best for the force or Country in general..
I write as not to chastised or downcast the motive of the intensions of the PSC.But for them to see reasons that with all these bureaucracy we might not get the best persons fitted for the NPF..Long live the federal Republic, and God bless the Nigeria police force.

Recall the 7 npf officers killed at Galadima in Abuja...one of the officers is been laid to rest today,unfortunately we ( Nigerians) have come to a point where we think the men of the Nigerian police force are less a human being or another completely different specie..well this late officer is not far different from all normal human beings with wife and children. As i recall of him he was a devoted catholic,many spoke of his kind and good characters,the last Sunday before his unfortunate death, he was actively seen singing and dancing in his group in church as member of the Hausa men choir..(zumunta mata)
The large turnout of members of the church and sympathizers during the funeral mass yesterday was unprecedented, it just tells of kind of person and the livestyle he lived ...please let's bid him farewell and pray for his family to have fortitude to bear the lost...very intelligent children I must confess as i was present in one of their meeting where she was given intelligent contributions for the growth of the church at her age only for father to killed the next day....

To be Precise, thurday of the week just pass i.e 48 hours now. I went to an eco bank ATM nearest, located at goshen city via abuja-keffi way, slot in my card only for it to rejected manytime with the captsion "card not smart". Mind you this same card was only used last month and it works fine. The date of expiry is until 2018. My odeal here is that, this card was eloquently accepted by another ATM of zenith sited on the premises sharing on same wall. Ok now i try to withdraw 20k with no cash dispensed, 'bing bing' i got an alert notifying me of the transaction, after waiting tirelessly vain for hours hoping to get the money or reverse alert as the case may be. I left to lodge a complain at my bank branch next morning, Filled a form and ask to wait for a week or two. Am worried because this money is in urgent need, Woud i get a refund? . Please has any one had same experienced with eco banks how long was it resolved? because am scared of the bad and poor services i have heard about eco bank from customer. To the eco bank this not scandalize you but to inform you about the perception by some members of the public, with high hopes that you could do the write thing.
