Though am not from the South East, formerly i used to be very passionate about having a President from the South East.

Even as late as December 2021 i was still rooting very passionately for a SE President.

I felt they had been marginalized by the Northerners and Yorubas; they are a major tribe and it was very unfair they had not produced the Number 1 citizen of the country. So i thought!

But something struck me recently. I looked at the 2019 Presidential election results.

A South East candidate named Kingsley Moghalu could not muster up to 10, 000 votes from the entire South East region.

Another candidate Atiku Abubakar a Fulani man got up to 2 million votes from the South East region.

Ibos had been clamouring for the Presidency for two decades.

And then they go ahead and give a Fulani man close to 2 million votes and give their own brother 10 thousand votes. huh

2 million versus 10k !!!

But when the government responds, it becomes "blaming previous governments"

Femi was interviewed and asked a question specifically about Obasanjo's criticisms.
