Egba girl: non. ce n'est pas comme ca. pour moi, ce que t'as fait n'était pas necessaire. meme s'il était un homme, j'aurais dit la meme chose. En addition, tu as fait une grosse generalization à propos d'un groupe.

gothrones: Stop projecting. It is evident that your father never loved your mother and that is the reason you label almost all men as irresponsible. You are what you DATE. If 99% of the men that you have fraternized with were irresponsible, then look in the mirror.

50calibre: So I'm underage because I said 300k is small for some people? Ok tell me, how / where can someone invest 300k, an investment that would yield dividends enough to worth you time and attention. Tell me, maybe I could learn.

You talk as if I don't know the value investment or enterprise whereas in actuality, I do. The fact of the matter is, gone are the days people built empires from nothing, these days are different. To succeed in business ( depending on the business) today you need capital, huge capital.
good now u are talking nicely and we

Dewze: 'Rich people(kids)' waist 300K in the clubs and in the hands of foreign nations in the name of 'traveling for fun'.
'Rich minds' invest 300K for the benefit of themselves, their families and their homeland.

djsmoothy: Bro is not all about the money why people come here sometimes for security i can tell you i sleep at night without fear of armed robber and other bad stuff, good road all the basic amenities that our gov should give us i think this is why some people come here, i know money is in nigeria i have biz bringing money for me in nigeria more than U.K but 4 yrs ago when i came to nigeria i was robbed by people dressed in police uniform @ okota i had gun pointed at my head they took everything from me, not that this does not happen in U.K but at least you know police will check CCTV and try and look for bad people. Now going back to the bond trust me it will not work we are here in the london and i can tell you she said it to let people know they are doing something about immigration that's all
thank u my brother and i will agree with u on ur points .
ur reasons are exactly the same reasons i left nigeria but i refused to go to a place i will become an illegal immigrant.

dekingboy: Did u not read about the imposition of £2000 bond on uk immigrants by GEJ last week. What then do you think is the force that could make oyinbo give nija this kind of attention.
my boss i just searched google now for that piece of information pls can u kindly paste the link?

50calibre: Typical poor/hungry man, he takes pride in his hunger, 300k is a big money for him. If you weren't a hungry man, you won't talk of investing a paltry 300k, that's not even worth as much as my Mac.

Poverty is a deadly disease. There is a wide gap between the mindset of the rich and the poor.
u lacck exposure ,so until u have 1million naira abi before u can do something meaningful?when ppl are starting imporation business ,poultry and many other things with just a mearge amount.you are the one with a slave brain that needs deliverance i will rather stay in africa with my 3000 pounds and turn it over with dignity and pride than for me to go to uk and start white man shit and dishes

Dee60: It is amazing that many people in our country do not read. I read the original article by the British government. First, it is just a mere proposal by a home secretary. Secondly, the article said that the bond could affect people with 6 months visa, meaning that a large proportion of the regular travelers will not be affected. Labour government tried the same proposal a few years ago and it did not work out. Why all the noise? I am in no way supporting the bond, but we at least should read things before shouting on the roof top.

It is right for FG to have reacted, and now the real discussions will start. I will not be surprised if the move is cancelled. It may just be a move to put pressure on some countries to reduce high rate of absconding!

Where will people see 3,000 pounds as bond? Wont work.
my brother ,forget it ,this policy is most likely to pass through the only thing is that they may reduce the bond price .even if u want to travel to trinidad there is a bond price of about 500k i dont know if they are stopped now.the aim of this new policy is to make sure that those visiting will return and to discourage people that want to overstay.

coogar: there are thousands of human rights group lying in wait to attack the policy. i believe it's just hot air. this time last year, the issue of bounty hunter was brought up. till date, i have not heard of anyone caught via bounty hunters.

nigerians can relax!
you guys are forgeting that last year events isnt the same as this year.there is a growing call for tougher immigration rules folloing the killing of a uk soldier by two uk born nigerians.they are going to rope all this in.uk will carry out this policy, and believe me there isnt much that nigeria can do to retaliate.
Politics › Re: UK High Commissioner Explains The £3,000 Visa Bonds by texaco1: 10:27am On Jun 26, 2013
50calibre: You didn't understand what you read. The policy is still being worked out, and may even require approval
from paliarment, and can still be shelved.

What Jonathan and Nigeria's foreign ministry has said would definitely be taken into account before any decision is made, so stop talking as if its completely irrelevant.

The same irrelevant statement prompted the UK to allay fears that should the scheme go ahead, it affects only a minority of Nigerians.
you are the one who is not following events, the fg has not made a statement on this and neither has gej.what a source in the ministry said two days ago is that they are awaiting official notice from the uk govt
so u think gej will be so daft to start talking about a planned policy which has been passed ?u dont seem to realise the position that gej occupies.
the uk ambassador is just playing with words.if they decide to do it there is nothing gej can do about it
