Divepen: I think it is, as you said earlier, exposure of these children that makes them go into it.
I remember, when I was around 11...It was introduced to me by my cousin, who had been exposed to it.
At first, I resisted but when I was able to witness a live one,by someone close to me- An adult, I rushed to my cousin and told her we should do what the close relative and her boyfriend were doing.
I thank God most of the things we did was romancing, but a knowledge helped me stopped it.
The knowledge of what my mother told me about sex when I was 8 or so. Whenever, I remembered all what she thought me, I prayed for Forgiveness from God (as a christain). In fact, that knowledge was the force that never made me stopped it at all and helped me survive that series.

So, I think parent should give their children Se.x education early.

AtheistD: What about soldiers who risk their lives all the time? What about people who work in excessively dangerous professions? Fearing death is different to coping with the risk of death such that you don't think about it or worry about it.
