There are dissenters with every theory, that's how science works. Because of the nature of the topic, folk inflate/focus on the views of dissenters to make it seem like their case has more weight than it actually does. That does affect the fact that it is overwhemingly supported by the scientific community.

And yes, frankly, anyone familiar with the topic (esp the pros involved across the various disciplines) who still holds it does not occur is likely being very irrational, and objectively (or very close to) wrong

oh but I am combative. I'm just stealthy about it. I'm super sweet most of the time. It drives people crazy. Hehe. Really though, I'm nice until I can no longer be. My motto is: Be nice until you can't be. If I feel strongly about something I speak up. When ya'll start, I just like to sit back and watch the sparks fly. It makes my day. Very entertaining.

To tell you the truth there are two things I never argue. One is politics. The other is religion. Thy are both subjects that are way too emotionally charged. If i am asked i have no qualms about giving my opinion. Most people can't keep a cool head with either subject. Neither can they mutually agree. It is a no win debate. Both sides believe they are right. There is not enough facts, scripture, preaching or logic in the world to convince either party. I love to watch though. I did just make a comment to Logicboy. Not sure how that will play out. Hehe.
