Ahmeduana: YES DUMB-NESS IS EVERYWHERE, BUT THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT the whites DON'T GOES AROUND EXPOSING THERE IGNORANCE THEY WAY WE WE AFRICANS DOES EXPECIALLY NIGERIAThe poster that started this thread (me) is white and American. I believe most of the church signs are from American churches. Dumb.ness IS everywhere. I just happen to have a sense of humor. ![]() |
Kay17: Whipping them reasonably and moderately is a sign of love also. For me, whipping is a form of condition to direct their behaviour into the desired patterns. You wouldn't always buy all the toys for them, or all the icecream, sometimes you have to force them to take the bitterest pills, force them to the best habits (waking up early, early independence, reading patterns). You just can't reason with them to have those done. You would whip a child to wake them up? Good habits, frankly any habit, comes from repetition. Children can be, "conditioned" as you put it, from birth to get up early. If their "biological clock" is set to get up early, they will wake up early. Yes it is possible to whip children into submission. I'm simply asking if it is the best way to teach them. We are all entitled to our opinions. Mine differs from yours. Can we leave it at that? |
I just have 1 question. ^^^What are these two wearing? Clever btw... |
Made It by Tex It was only a dribble at first. A drop, maybe two, as the sky began to darken. The wind gently lifting the hair from my neck. Sweetly swirling around my senses...Only slightly wet. The pace quickens. My heart is pounding. The drops start coming faster. My body begins to tingle as the wind presses more firmly against me...Getting wetter. Faster and faster, yet I feel I'll never get there. Fear at first, uncertainty, but excitement too. The wind continues it's assault. The rain comes faster...Wetter. Time seems to stand still, as I run faster. Wind whirling wildly against me. Pressing more firmly. No mercy. The sky opens up...and I am soaked. Lightening flashes across the sky, thunder booms. I'm so close. I scream as I come crashing through the front door. Soaked to the skin. Panting, as I try to catch my breath. Home at last. |
Silkmoth33: Sirius of the canis major constellation.Thank you |
A few more...you got any?

How about some sports bloopers

deneut: then am sorry for using it ok?Lol. It's ok. I'm learning to adjust. I just have to wonder when my bf uses these words, does it really mean anything if he spouts them to every girl he comes in contact with? That's all. |
Toluwarni: You don't want kids?I have kids. That's why it's late to say I don't want. ![]() |
Kay17: @tex, I'm not going to doubt your communication skills, however I'm not just satisfied. Maybe your personality and aura along with your communication skills that breaks it for you.Personality can definitely be a factor in how successful your parenting skills are. I've been told that I am a very loving and patient person. I do try. That, on top of the training and experience I have, culminate into the attitude I use, and the techniques I have perfected over the years. Honestly, I wish every expectant parent was required to take a parenting class. Frankly, I don't care how the adults feel about it. Children don't ask to be brought into this world. They deserve better than what many have to endure. |
@ emusmith "Success is not sexually transmitted." Classic! |
Startender by Tex On a clear night I saw a star, Whose brightness outshined the Rest. I came out each night in Greeting fair. For surely, it was the best Everyday I dreamed of my star. Every Night he came, I felt so blessed. In That shining countenance, in all I Acquiesced. Such love I held, and such awe. How Could I have guessed, that one day My star would fall, and leave me Destressed? All seems lost. Here...left with only pain in my chest. How could my dear star go away, when "stay" was my only request. Today is another day. Tonight I am hard pressed, to find another star whose light I can nestle beneath my br.east. None shine as brightly as thee. In none else I see reason to invest. A sigh. A tear. Perhaps it is a test. |
Kay17: But before they get mature and rational how do you deal with them with a method suitable for mature and rational people?! Isn't it a misfit of methods?Did you read the article? I've dealt with some of the most stubborn, and even violent children. The techniques in the article work. Of course there may be times when things blow up, but that can be dealt with too. I'm not saying spanking doesn't have it's place. I just feel it should be a last resort. |

striktlymi: Looking at it from the Christian perspective, I believe it is wrong not to want kids in holy wedlock. Marriage is not 'contracted' strictly for companionship. So a man who is impotent and a woman who is barren shouldn't bother having sex? They are useless in the eyes of God? |
Tovot: It is well. It can only get better amen.Amen |

gnykelly: doing experimenting damsels?too late vosquare: I eventually succeeded texanomaly: Dead end drive"i" "v" "e" is next. |

Tovot: Lobatan!Hey Tovie. I saw your diary. Sup? |
princealbashir: LOL... Tell us what you know then. From experience... *winks*Do you honestly think you can tell if a guy is a virgin, or not, by the way they walk, talk or kiss? Those things have more to do with confidence. You don't have to have had sex to be confident around girls. |
Let's eat. |
GSKing: I will die ooooooGlad you're getting a good laugh. I aim to please. ![]() |

Kay17: Again you are assuming the kids are gentle, mature and rational. That is what parenting is all about. It is our job as parents to teach them coping skills that will help them become mature, rational adults. |
Dead end drive |
aishaquest: It seems in the hast of some who came to criticize rahma2husna and her choice of words, the purpose of her post has been swept away. |
