Incognito403:Listen to yourself and you'll realize your statement na rubbish |
If the USA stops giving aid to South Africa, the biggest impact will be on health programmes, especially HIV/AIDS treatment. Many NGOs will struggle, investment confidence may drop, and the rand could weaken. The government will face more financial pressure, and relations between the two countries could become strained. Daily life won’t change immediately, but long-term effects could include weaker health services, slower economic growth, and more pressure on poor communities. You think Tinubu is a fool for reacting the moment Trump mentioned Nigeria as CPC? We don't have the resources to help ourselves. No with our corruption and misplaced priorities. Millions will die in South Africa, unless South Africa will fund the free HIV program. The question is , can they do it? |
We all knew there must be a deal. Jo can you rescue all the victims without one gunshot? Haba now |
Nicki Minaj and Trump voice have made the federal government to bring back those children from where they hid them. |
mastermaestro:That's a good one from him then. I just finished reading what Adeboye said regarding the genocide against Christians. He declared seven days fasting and prayers for angels from heaven's gate to come to our rescue. |
Thousands will pray and fast for a week. I'll pray and fast for a day in the hope of terrorism cleansing in Nigeria. One thing I know is no angel will come and fight this physical war for us. After fasting, maybe God will open everybody's eyes to know that physical warfare are fought physically |
I'm still waiting for pastor's Enenche, Chris Oyakilome, Enoch Adeboye, David Oyedepo etc. to publicly condemn these genocides. They've got a wider reach of audience than Ezekiel. Their words will send shock waves across the world |
Please God bless me with the necessary resources so I could japa and my daughter grows and resides in a different and safe country |
It’s honestly shocking that some Nigerians still believe the USA is plotting to invade our country and cart away our resources. People forget that not every battle is fought with guns and soldiers . Some are fought with words, influence, and global perception. A single comment from the U.S. President can shake investor confidence and scare off those who are interested in putting their money into Nigeria. Beyond that, Nigeria benefits heavily from financial aid, humanitarian assistance, and international partnerships. If those supports were suddenly withdrawn, the impact would be devastating , lives would be at risk, businesses would crumble, and countless jobs would vanish. |
Burob:Do you know who is the commander in Chief of The Armed Forces? |
All of Tuggar’s arguments don’t change the reality staring Nigerians in the face: insecurity is still at an alarming level. Boko Haram, ISWAP, and heavily armed Fulani bandits are moving around like they own the country. The painful truth? They often look more coordinated and more fearless than the very military that is supposed to crush them. They have exposed the weaknesses of our security system again and again. And when it comes to the Christian killings, how can anyone downplay the horror? Over 200 Christians were burnt alive in Benue just a few months ago, yet someone is quoting 177 as if human lives are statistics. How heartless can we be? Yes, it’s possible the USA has its own hidden agenda, countries always do. But can we honestly say the Nigerian government has handled these threats? Absolutely not. The menace is growing, and the response is nowhere near enough. |
MT:I’m pretty sure some people like you forget or don't know that the 1999 Constitution (as amended) makes it crystal clear: no referendum on secession is allowed in Nigeria. Period. End of story. I hope you know what this means And just to be clear, I’m not Igbo, I’m Audu from the North, just stating facts here. But let’s face it: the Igbo have often been treated like second-class citizens, always under close scrutiny, watched, and sidelined in ways that shouldn’t happen in a country that calls itself united. History, politics, and representation haven’t been kind, and the impact is still felt today. It’s one of those truths that’s hard to ignore, even if it makes people uncomfortable. I'm also pretty sure you are not aware that Nnamdi Kanu was illegally detained and the laws have been repealed since when he was arrested and the idea was politically motivated. Keep tribe aside and Learn to say The truth.... BIGOTRY only makes us less humans |
They should go to the South West and do their thing. After then Tinubu go serious |
If Nnamdi Kanu is a Hausa Fulani person, he'll probably be celebrated and given an appointment with the APC government. Too bad he's Igbo. This is a more reason why we've got to go out separate ways as a country |
WorldRichest:. And you think people will not see this as an attempt to divert attention ?? Even at that our security system have shown that the bandits, Iswap and Boko. Haram are bigger and better than them. Soldiers, generals, children, men and women are killed on daily basis and the Nigerian government are saying no to help proposed by the USA? Why? |
Why haven't the name of the kidnapped students been published all these while? I surfed the web yesterday for that info and couldn't get anything. Even chat gpt couldn't help |
Weh done sir. But T'or Tiv said a different story when those house were set ablaze and many children killed in the process. Most of the communities invaded by Fulani are Christian communities. Why? Na only Christians de farm? |
After all the long stories. The question still remains 1. Are churches not burnt? 2. Are Christians not killed on a daily basis? 3. Are there no killing/crisis everyday in Nigeria? 4. Is Boko Haram and Isis not existing in Nigeria? 5. Are they not operating almost freely without restrictions It doesn't matter who influenced the US decision. The information they got was correct. |
Bottom line is, until a third party (the US) are allowed to join hands with the Nigerian military to combat these bandits. I fear Nigeria would be worst than Afghanistan |
Are there killings in Nigeria? YES. Have thousands of Christians been killed? YES. Have Muslims also been victims? YES. But have Christians been targeted more often in certain regions? YES — painfully and undeniably. Do Christians worship freely, boldly, and without fear in the North West and North East? NO — not even close. This is not just statistics. It’s reality. It’s families shattered, churches burnt, entire communities living with fear as their shadow. It’s people simply trying to worship God, yet looking over their shoulders every Sunday. And it’s a burden the nation must confront with honesty, courage, and urgency. |
energy37:It has, bag of rice have dropped from N120,000 to N45,000 in Lafia Nasarawa State. A mudu of beans have dried from #4,500 to #1,500. Other grains have dropped at a significant rate. As far as foodstuff is concerned, there is a significant drop in inflation. Tinubu should come out with another strategy for fight the hike in price of other commodities |
Hezzyluv:Islam is not practiced in Northern Nigeria |
EarthKing:What questions have the youths not asked? It's clear our leaders are not interested in saving the lives of its citizens. We are waiting for the day international bodies will come to our rescue |
For every political elite that has been or may be killed by these terrorists, I honestly have little to no sympathy. They helped create this monster and kept denying its existence for years. It’s wrong and unforgivable to play politics with the lives of citizens. |
If they want to make it a fair tournament, each Continent should be granted same number of slots. It's called a world cup after all. Europe have an advantage because of the number of representation it has |
Christistruth00:Slaughtered? 😂 Come on, don’t twist the narrative. Crises can spring from so many roots , inter-communal clashes, tribal tensions, farmer–herder conflicts, political grievances, even criminal banditry. Not every violent situation automatically becomes a religious war. And in the case of the South East, let’s be factual, the crisis there is not a genocide against Christians. It’s a complex mix of separatist tensions, security breakdowns, and political agitation , but certainly not a targeted religious extermination. |
nairalanda1:Does saying anything against Islam equally translates to insulting Islam? Persons like Deborah never insulted Islam did she? Tell me where you live in the North makaryachi |
89green:Go toh the North and openly declare yourself a Christian who doesn't believe in Islam. Just say anything against the Islamic religion let's see if you'll last 24hrs |
To be honest, Tinubu’s reforms are beginning to show promising signs, slow but steady progress with real marginal gains. Honestly, I never expected him to perform this well as president, but he’s exceeded my expectations so far. My only hope is that he keeps politics out of governance . That he leads boldly, without the fear of losing a second-term bid. If he can tackle insecurity with genuine commitment and sincerity, Nigeria will be in a much better place. The cost of food and transportation is gradually becoming friendlier, that’s a win. I just wish we could say the same about our security situation, education and the healthcare system. |
Can we just give a thumbs up to our financial people without calling Obidients and others. The thread is about finances not calling out names. These are the kinda things that brings us back as humans and a nation... |
being:It's called channel of command bro. Wike could easily sue them rather resorting to shouting and insults. A minister should know that uniform men respect their commanding officers more than anything and that's a legal code |
SpencerForbes:Your line of interest is different from another man's. Some guys love fat ladies, others don't. Some likes fair ladies, others don't. Some love tight pssies others don't |
