I'm have this gps issue on my new 4g LTE phone, and it has forced me to keep using my old phone for taxify..

I 've tried correcting it to high accuracy, still movement inaccurate making me doing 2 trips for 11k with 1k fuel.

Now I'm back to using my old phone b4 I'm blocked with the normal fare.

Therefore if u have any useful comment on how to solve GPS issue pls drop ur comment.

( note: my car face backward when moving on the app and I noticed my car was on water while on 3MB on the app)

Sir you r wrong...you are calculating for profit but he said net earnings..there are two different things...leave out the fuelling and feeding and whatever expenses..if you read his primary post on this matter he made it clear..its the same assumption I made and retracted..

I'm sorry to disappoint You, net earning is the same as net profit

Please, what makes it net?

If you 're considering debuting commissions only, u 're so wrong

So what's your point here?

How much did you make yesterday 6th of February? That's Tue issue not holiday period.

There wasn't surge everywhere yesterday and somebody said he made 42k yesterday.

My point:
40k is achievable If I had work all day on that particular day of festive season

I have noticed over time that drivers only think about the fuel they will use from point A-B. They don't think about their own safety and that of the car.

Some drivers go to Ibadan for 10-15k and I just shake my head. I know for sure no sane car owner will go for that amount because he knows he will likely come back to do repair. But drivers on rental don't care. After all its the partner that will repair.

If you travel interstate bear in mind that you will likely change atleast breakpad, tie rod and ball joint. If you don't hear the noise after that trip. The noise will surely come in next one month.

What if your car break down around Sagamu and you have to tow the car. Number 1, your rider will not pay you the complete agreed sum. Now you will have to add money from your pocket to tow the car back to Lagos.

It is not every trip you jump on. What is the point going to Abuja and you don't have atleast 50k profit.

Once beaten twice shy...

So you didn't think about possible damage on your car before you charge for that trip?

Thanks for posting this price list, I'll work with it next time and make is negotiable

I dislike people who talk too much without substance.

This is my current weekly earnings without stress.

Adding the 4k offline I did yesterday i'm a bit above 51k net this week. Minimum I need is 120k. I have 69k to go in 4 days.

I will like you to bet against me making 120k this week, and then bet against me making 120k consistently for the next 8 weeks so that these talks will stop.

Smiles,

Point is : this your 48k net earnings in 4days out of 7days is not net to me as far as you 're yet to remove other spends.

Do u get fuel for free?
Yet other expenses follows..

I 've have partnered with many drivers that ve defaulted and I'm not happy about them owing me, Weekly remittance...

More reason I can never give out my car for hp.. I'll rather sell outright

you are yet to answer two questions I asked you.

Why are you dodging?

Sorry about that, I'm working and I m trying to reply each comment after dropping off my rider and the continue from where I last comment.

As for the changing of parts question. I do servicing every month and I don't change parts every week but there are week I change different parts same week probably different days within a week.. eg i had to work on my ac and changed the evaporator and ac pipes cos I noticed that any time they weld the pipes. Leakage will occur again and cost me more refilling the gas and repair.

Never used Lockito before. I dont do fraud. That screenshot is a work I did from 4am - 1am like 20hrs in early January this year.Despite d surge I have always wanted to break my own record of 30k plus I did previously.

Finally you broke my 38k highest earning in a single day. But mine was not during festive season. Just a busy Saturday ..

i am waiting for you to analyze the remaining 104k for the week, so that you will calculate yourself and see that anyone on HP left with 104k every week after buying fuel, is on the path to greatness.

Please note:

my calculations was on 160k gross weekly

which is never possible without jackport bonus of 40k and yet it cannot Still net 120k..

If I'm to used your gross.. the driver will be pretty much more lesser than 70k

Difference between gross and net. Let's stop twisting this thing.

Gross in green - 333,100
Net in orange - 288,895

288, 895 / 4 weeks = 72,223 - fuel = net

Bros I hail o.

You claimed you made 42k on Uber today 6th of February 2019. People expressed their doubt and somebody asked you for a proof and you show us a Taxify screenshot.

Not claiming its not possible o, but did you see the date on the top of the screen? It says 3rd of January 2019. Please can you explain the disparity in date and app or is there something am not understanding please?

I did 25k 2rd of January 2019 when surge full all Lagos.. beside dat I did only half day.. 10hrs rather. 12noon to around past 10pm

if you believe, you can achieve it

Gross of 40k plus achieveable when u work almost 24hrs like Friday night 12am to Saturday 11:30pm then u post

With the help of surge and back 2 back..

Anything aside that is price inflation

This is impossible you can't make such an outrageous amount in just one day

very possible.. I ve done Abuja twice this January.. 50k each per trip.

It's not easy o. And very boring unlike driving within Lagos.

Aside that.. I had to change my car shocks due to multiple potholes I hit. Reason been that the trip seems like it won't end and I had to speed up maintaining between 100km/h to 120

Next time, I 've promised myself that I won't do below 80k for that trip or they go take a flight... 3 riders per trip.

But

It is impossible to do that online without inflating the price very high on uber app or taxify app

So the question is
... If online = you are a big liar

... If offline = you are lucky and congrat

I have one of my neighbor who is into Uber that used to intimidated me with figures then (salt and paper things plus screenshots), he later had an accident after fixing the car he always call me now and then to transfer money for him to complete his weekly remittance.
One would have thought that with such figures he will have a lot of savings, I asked him he said he himself can't even explain what's happening.
One of the things he said was that the money doesn't come once so as a they come u also have small small expenses.
He gave me an instance assuming he make 15k at the end he buy fuel 4k, eat, pay tolls and do other small small expenses u will be left with Oga money for the day. And sometimes he have AC wahala like compressor issues because he actually changed the compressor twice the first one was bought brand new that's like 25k
My point: what I see on my dashboards doesn't always translate to how much cash I have at hand as in my pocket.
Again some of the people that successfully run HP at a point defaulted some didn't even succeed the first time but the experience helped them later.

If you have a sizable responsibility you will know that 120k a week you see on the dashboard (assuming is consecutively) can barely sustain you, only those into the system understands.
That's why some partners who added their driver to their account will be seeing figures and be wondering why the drivers find it difficult to deliver.

I don't just want to talk but if what fahrenz posted here is what he make I make more than him but I am not here to measure prick.

Now, this is reality

except it's a problematic car, with 120k net a week, you'll have enough for maintenance. You did the maths yourself and you said there's 85k to play around with, after 35k hats 50k left.

I don't encourage or support HP though, it much easier to save and buy your own car

Hp of 30k weekly is good, I won't advice anyone to do above that for now... it's gonna drain the driver to his last penny once a major repair catch up on him... I 've seen brand new car break down within a month of purchase.

you are not making any sense.

I drive on uber, I drive on taxify every week. I make certain amounts of uber, make certain amounts of taxify, and offline trips. I make minimum 120k weekly from 2 or 3 of the sources combined.

You are saying I shouldn't combine my earnings. I should not cumulate them. Because you want to see where I made 120k only On uber or 120k only on taxify. How does that make sense to you? How does that make sense to any living thing?

If I'm to follow your analyiss, it means you do gross above 160k every week to earn close to 120k net.

My calculations

If your car consumes very low fuel to earn u best of 10k with 2k fuel (ie 32k fuel earns your 160k, right?)
Therefore, 160k - 32k = 128k net

If we assume both taxify n uber charge 15% due to the all round 1.1x surge on uber ( commissions of 15% of 160k = 24k)
Therefore, 128k - 24k = 104k net

Now, I'm yet to minus other expenses from the remaining 104k

Wkth the above analysis, it shows that you have to do/earn a little more above 180k gross weekly to net 120k

Else, you will be living in lies and you will be passing a wrong Info...

Pls correct me if I'm wrong... ( I m so good with valuations and can draw up financial analysis if u want.. lols)

This is gross

What u posted are not net. Those are partial net of only commissions been deduted. How about other expenses, fueling, sevicing, car maintenance, changing of wear n tear parts... I'm sure no car is mechanic free. Be it toks or not

Total net for uber = 424,802

Total made on uber and taxify for 8 weeks = 547227 + 424802 = 972,000

If I add offlines, it will climb to 1.1m but I won't.

972000 divided by 8 weeks is 121, 500 per week.

If I add offline it's 137,500 per week.

If you doubt me, I will wait till the end of March and then I will post for that 8 weeks again.

Now, where is my 15k?

I like your kind of car that don't use fuel to net that amount

Dec last year, late 20's. I Requested a ride on a Sunday morning from Ikoyi to MM2. We arrived the airport, I was already sort of late to board so I just picked my luggage and rushed in without confirming the fare and/or if the driver has ended the trip.

After all the check in formalities, a quick meal and waiting to board, I checked taxify and lo and behold, trip was still ongoing. shocked it was a card trip so first, I quickly blacklisted the card , then waited for the bill. Days later, on arriving to my destination, I got a mail that i should fund my card or add another payment option for my ride with a whooping bill of 12,300 cheesy

I no bother to reply them sef. I'm just curious now, will the driver be paid by taxify? I earlier thought of going to taxify office when i return to the country to officially complain but on second thoughts, I changed my mind .

Driver got paid, but once you make a report to Taxify. Taxify knows how to get their money back from driver's next payout.

Note: if you do not report the trip. Taxify will find a way to get their money back. Probably when you add your card for a new trip. Or by placing a pending order on your card till its funded.

No aren't. You should have 6k left after fuel deduction.
But to be sincere, you are not using the right tool.

He's using the right tool. I ve always been using 5k fuel to realise 20k gross. But since the trip price reduction and fewer trip. It hard to realise 12k -14k most especially when you ve to hunt for request. Or long pickup with the 5k fuel

It does not mean it will apply to Mr. B,C,D,E or Mrs. F . If you look at your fingers, not all fingers are equal

Its not about meeting up with remittance but how much is left with the driver.
