I am sure the car dat made you this money is dead by now....no wonder you are searching for hire purchase vehicles to WRECK other cars...Where is your conscience?

What's wrong with him looking for hire purchase deal. In as much as there is an agreement and initial deposit. The owner is on a safer side.

If anyone can make good earnings every week. I will suggest he sticks to HP and own his/her car

In other news...

We driver-partners have unanimously decided to embark on a sit at home warning strike today Monday 26th Nov. 2018. This is to pass a message to your company that we are not in support of the way we are treated in the e-transport industry. The recent reduction in fare has not been taken in at all by us, and that is the reason for our SIT AT HOME WARNING STRIKE.
The followings are what we want the management to work on:

OUR GRIEVANCES
Note that we are graduates and we did not go to school on credit. Therefore we deserve better treatment.
We render executive services to all your riders, ie(full A/C, super sound system etc). We take insults, we condole riders misbehavior and misconduct, yet we take them to their destinations safely with a smile. All these at ridiculous prices. Let these riders board 'danfos' without A/C or yellow cab without A/C and high charges. Then riders will understand the true meaning of comfort.
Our grievances are;

1. Blocking of driver's accounts without listening to the drivers' side of story. This is barbaric and callous.

2. Frustrating and enslaving fares. If we were truly partners, we would be informed before decisions that affect our earnings are made. Riders are even surprised and bewildered concerning the low fares.

3. Exorbitant percentage (15%) of commission. No e-transport company should take more than 10% of commission.

4. No free will choice of kind of riders to render services to.

5. Rating: this should be a means for riders to determine who is more likely to serve them best.

6. Loss of dignity as drivers carry low live riders that could not in their wildest dreams enter a polished car, insult drivers and make horrific demands.

7. Riders request to carry heavy and dirty luggages at ridiculous prices as luggage fare are not attached. These damages and weakens our car suspensions.

8. High amount of car rent from car owner and tough maintenance conditions

9. Security: there are high risks as pertained to rider's notion. These get greater daily and nothing is practically done to monetize and mitigate the risk.

OUR CHALLENGES

1. Riders take us to dead zones mostly at nights at the detriment of our lives.

2. High cost of car maintenance (i.e, air conditioner, alignment, servicing, etc.)

3. High rate of car insurance

OUR DEMANDS
It is so common and obvious to the sense of every human being that comfort/good life comes with a price (ie. its not cheap). Our services are expected to be executive, and not for pepper sellers or low class people.
We therefore demand that, henceforth, as driver-partners that you call us, 'PARTNERS' in quote
a). that driver-partners must be contacted before any decision in the company is made. We are partners, and that make us stakeholders in the company.
b). that your commission be reduced to 10% charges or less.
c). that your tariff be increased to #85/km and #13/mins as we are facing alot of traffic challenges, especially in Lagos. And we burn more fuel than what we earn at the end of the day.
d). that the so much accolades given to the riders, making them feel like gods and goddess be reduced to the barest minimum
e). that the way driver-partners are tossed around like mere errand boys, working day and night to achieve your set goals and objectives be corrected and amended.

OUR AGREEMENT
We the driver-partners have unanimously agreed that after 21 days of this warning strike slated today, if our demands are not met, we are going to jointly decide to move to other e-transport company that are new and ready to meet our demands. We will also canvass our clients which are your riders to move to the new company to get a better services. And that's how we will crash your stay in this country. This will make you understand the power we have as driver-partners on any e-transport company.

OUR CONCLUSION
We hereby wait for your swift response in treating our request within the next 21 days without any further delay.

My own strike don start since Monday afternoon until they complete the fare review theye are doing on my account and pay me.

It's really important to have done more than 200 trips in each of the last 3 months.

I don't.. Cos that's a lot to achieve... More reason why fewer drivers are on the monthly health insurance.

150trips monthly is a better average trips per month

Loving you boss... Dats d spirit, truth b told the business is flopping, I guess excessive puttin of cars by partner is one of d reason, supply over demand is already shifting the market to disequilibrium. My advice to partner think well or u will end up selling ur cars far below cost price.

Price of corollas are now dropping due to the rate that naija used are up for sale almost everywhere in Lagos.

Dead corolla cars lol....

leave uber out of this case cos in the app they said cash payment or card, this is why they encourage riders to use card. All you need to do is go to his bank and track him.

Why. Uber is involved and should be involved.

Uber connects driver to rider.

Which ever way you look at it.. Uber needs to do something else more riders will flee from their app.

Hello everyone,
I'm excited to bring this to the group.
It's a new money making opportunity for Partners and Drivers.
You get to make some good money by the side while doing absolutely nothing extra!

How?
Taxi App Guy is partnered with a firm that specializes in in-ride entertainment and advertisement to your rideshare cars.

How does this work?
We place high quality screens in your car. These screens broadcast interactive and highly engaging content to your riders as you drive them around.
The more engagement the screen in your car gets the more money you make.
And the best part? The screen is totally free to install.
You don't have to do anything else as we send content into the screens, all you have to do is keep taking trips as you normally would.

We are running a pilot program for the first 5 people to test out the screens in their vehicle, during the pilot period we we are simply testing out the product and so won't be sending any payouts. We start sending out payouts when we launch.
Of course the first five people get priority when the actual program launches.

If you are interested in participating in the pilot, please mention this post. The first 5 eligible partner/driver gets the available screens.

More details coming.

Taxi App Guy

Bro. I'm interested. Make my 2 cars they get extra earning go make sense.

Baba mi, thanks for the reply.

The word "IF" is conditional clause.

Lekki is water-locked yet it commands more value that Mowe that is not water-locked, that is the perception of value.

Maybe in the near future a KIA RIO might command more value than a Toyota Corolla that is also a "IF".

At the moment, The King is undisputed (Toyota Corolla).

Forget the fact that I use a Toyota Corolla, If I am offered a KIA RIO and HONDA ACCORD, I take Honda Accord ahead of KIA RIO. tongue

I ve driven toyota corolla and honda civic . I will choose civic over corolla. Only that I recent got another toyota 2010 corolla cos I saw it cheap at 1m... I'm the 2nd user and the car was bought new by a bank.

Civic seem stronger than the 2 corollas without having issues on bad road. It consumes less fuel. Cost of parts are pretty less and easy to get genuine parts unlike corollas that has fake n bad parts sold in the market as toks

As for kia Rio. I don't know much about it but have a friend ( like a bro) driving it on Taxify.. I hardly see him fixed it since he started driving from march this year till date

Also. Toyota Yaris is a better car for this hustle than corolla, if not for the small size like kia Rio. Its a sweet ride.

Where in Lagos; Mainland or Island?

Where in Ib, hope it's not Oyo town or one suburb? grin

If it's from Mainland to 'Ibadan', like 40k-45k

If from Island, like 45k upwards

You may need to factor in how long you will stay in Ib ( are you coming back same day?), accommodation, etc.

Kilode.. Haba! 25k don do... Besides you cant finish 5k fuel on that trip.

See what you guys (drivers) have caused angry sis welcome to the fence. cheesy

Why do guyz blame drivers. Like someone said back then "The system is saturate".

A lot of know partners refused to see that and making example of those on HP to compare drivers on rentals.

It took me time to realize that those driver who over work themselves and screenshot high earnings are on HP knowing fully well that they are paying for their car

While a driver on rentals can not com and kill him/herself on rentals.

May God bless our hustle

They are known as the GPS crew… their winning formula is thus
G = Get up early by 4/5a.m and hit the road
P = Positioning is King
S = Speed Racer
A beautiful day last week.
You hear the experts in the house screaming its all about positioning, its all about getting out of bed early and burning rubber by 5 a.m, so many theories on how to earn the fat uber pay check.
On Monday I hit the road by 5 a.m, i wanted to ensure the big buck rolls in before end of day, did same for Tuesday, but on Wednesday, i was so annoyed for leaving the house after 9 a.m for the hustle, but surprisingly I had the highest earnings compared to the previous 2 days when I work up so early and employed all the GPS tactics.
On Wednesday, I headed to the airport, my first pick up was to Ikoyi, when my riders got into the car, they said they were going to Banana island, you know the nice feeling, that an instant request awaits you when you drop off your rider, the next request from banana island was back to Ikeja, (although I left the house later than usual things where really starting on a good note)
I wanted to maintain the momentum, so while, I was in Ikeja, I was thinking should I drive to Magodo, Shoprite or head back to airport, where can i Position myself to get a request as quickly as possible, while fine tuning my POSITIONAL STRATEGY, i checked the google map and saw it would take me almost 30 mins to get to the airport, so I decided to look for a corner street to chill, as I was driving I noticed an item, which I had wanted to buy in a shop, and decided to pack my car to pick up the item, after buying the item, as I was walking back to my car, my phone vibrated and fastest finger was at work and I accepted the request, my rider called, and she said the magic word “I am going to Banana Island”, (providence was surely working), (I don’t think there is any Driver born of a Woman that will reject a trip going to Banana Island,) interesting day, as I made my second trip back to Banana Island, after dropping my rider at Banana Island, I got another request immediately from Banana Island to International Airport, as I dropped my rider at the international airport, I felt though I started work later than usual I was satisfied for the day, time to call it a day and head back to my crib in Ikeja, as I was in this thought mode, the phone vibrated, uber magnet was at work and my finger mysteriously tapped the screen, the rider called and said he was going to V/I, all these long trips, this was a dangerous gamble, it was quite late, I don’t want to drive back empty all the way from V/I back to Ikeja, it was a risk I decided to take, as I dropped off my rider at Victoria Island, I frantically started to battle to set destination back to Ikeja, hell no Uber needed more drivers on the island, I just could not set destination, another request came in the rider was going somewhere in Lekki Phase 2, I almost wanted to cancel, because, I needed trips that will take me closer to and not further from Ikeja, but as I dropped my rider somewhere in Lekki phase 2 another request came in while on trip, this time the rider was heading to the mainland, truly the day ended on a beautiful note, earned more than the previous two days, sometimes we just cannot control what to expect, whether we start the hustle early or not.

No matter how you see it. Early morning job pays. Beside any work after that is a plus.

Example: I made 8k plus be 9am today... See proof in abt 4hrs.

So if I begin to get long trips like u said . I will definitely cross 30k

But if request is now scares from 9am and couldnt make additional 3k b4 5pm. Then I know I already earn a backup earnings b4 9am.

I will like to see your proof and how much u made when u woke up by 9am
