Uber? If uber run for your dear life. Go to ajah or Abraham adesanya or even Thomas estate though u will have to be patient. But if it's taxify find a safe place and park since you are already at shangotedo

Thanks boss, finally got one from crown estate sangotedo...

But Taxify cheat me o. Trip calculate 2000 instead of 2,800 to lekki admiralty road.

I dint bother to do a review because Taxify will add the review amount or higher without paying me and still remove commission.

Rollitout:
7k produced this between yesterday and today
Is normal fuel consumption. Too many exaggerations flying around.

I ve once use less than 500naira fuel to get 20,000. How? some may ask. The rider requested my ride only to send me an errand. I felt embarrassed and told him I cant go except he wants to paid 20k just to make him cancel the trip so another request can come in, but

To my surprise. He agreed and sent a list of all he wanted to get from daytoner, admiralty way. I text my acc. He sent the money and I delivery the service all within lekki around 10:30pm

You see, I earn 20k with less than 500fuel and dont forget that it was the service I rendered that warrant me to earn that and not the regular ehail trip biz. So let no one make it look like the normal thing or daily happenings

If it is strictly based on app trips only without cheat. You can barely earn 10k with 2k fuel

I personally use 3000fuel to earn 10k at most on a regular day. And my cars do not consume more than it should. Thanks

My view for experience

Why were you blocked?

I could not login, so I visited the Maryland office and they open another account for me, only for them to blocked me after 3days saying account conflict.. Till now... I really don't understand what they meant. Anyways I visited their office again and they claim the first acc is been used while I'm using the 2nd acc. How possible is that.

Theire final reply was ' sorry you can't driver own uber again. Then I walked out of their office saying bye bye to 25%

If its true, driver can easily be found. Taxify have history of all requests. And can track all drivers she has taken a trip witht just with her phone number she use in registering on Taxify as rider.

Finally, I retired for the day as I don't like to sleep outside my house.

What a great meal. Home sweet home.

Longest hour spent in a day. 5am to past 11pm.. Back aches like hell... Kudus to drivers trying this daily. A swear this work na hard labour.

Blew 7k fuel and 2,100 on toll gate. 200 parking, feeding at work 1200

Do the math

I need to share this experience or better still advice to the house(especially newbie on ehailing) since have also gained from stories and experiences from people on this forum. I got a request at mma1 airport today, I called the rider a female to know where she was, when I got to where she was which is just at the arrival, I decided to wait for her to come into the car since she was very close to me. Before I knew it men of the underworld clipped my tyre as she was about to enter. I said oga this is my passenger right in my car that am leaving now, she was close to me that was why I decided to wait some seconds for her to come in. The guy said I was not supposed to park at all to pick a passenger. To cut the long story short they took the vehicle to their office gave me a ticket of 10000. I begged and begged infact this should be my longest begging if there is any grammar like that. I eventually paid the money. So please like I said for those just coming in incase you find yourself at the airport mma1 in particular make sure you are very careful and smart if possible use the car park. Those guys are actually terrible and heartless. You need to see the way the were impounding vehicles today even while I was leaving their office more cars were still coming. I even heard from sources after my experience that those guys themselves now make request and setup Uber drivers. Please guys try as much as possible to avoid them you may be wrong you may also be right they don't care at all.

Heya!... I don't pick up at arrival, but I have picked up over 1000 riders from departure ( ie the fly over route) you are allowed to stay 2-5mins there.

Next time, just tell your rider to come up to departure by taking the stairs linking down to the park. And make sure he/she is upstairs at the departure b4 going there.

Also note that for drop off, go to departure but if the rider is going to the arrival just drive into the car park straight b4 you end the trip. Park fee will be added to riders fare straight up. And you can wait there for the next rider to request.

If you are already in the car park before a request comes in. Don't drive out of the car park to pick up. Walk out, trace the rider and take him/her to where you parked your car.

God bless y'all

I have a Toyota Camry 2004 for rental, 30k. But I need to change the power steering pump and I don't have any cash on me to do it. If you know you can use the car to work for the first week so we use the rental money to fix the steering pump, contact me on WhatsApp 08026102558. Preferably drivers around Ojodu Berger please.

How can the car be driven with a bad steering pump.
1. The steering will be very hard to turn.
2. When u forcefully turn the hard steering, it will affect the steering rack
3. If any other thing gets spoil in the process of managing the car for one week. Who is to fix it. Same desperate driver?

Advice,
Get a short loan and get it fixed.
Perhaps, get a deposit from a driver fix 1st before he starts working with the cat

Once you get rid of the bed bug, go get seat covers for your car seat so that when next you see bed bug you can easily pull off the seat cover and soak in hot water and wash.

Call them to notify and hasten up things. Last trip time I did round trip of 12100 for 6hours, lekki to ikeja environs and back same happened to me. Trip was later reviewed to 10k. Madt people

Now, this is the more reason drivers reject card trip on long trips.

Guys do i just stay at a spot while waiting for request or i should drive towards surge hoping to get request. Unfortunately, most times the surge appears very very far from my location. Please make una help (Just a week into this Uber stuff).

Bros not only you. My last week Saturday was the worst saturday earning day for me. This year I ve never done below 10k on Saturday but I did last Saturday.

Look at today , Monday of all day I'm on 20,400naira at 3:42pm. And I brought 5k fuel, paid 1600 tolls in total, 450 airport car park

New ke! 2 months roll nd its a year, I know lekki is above 4k, but who do I blame? Even the review since yesterday is still pending, sometimes that energy to b dragging with 3 science students is not just dia. Sometimes the app favours the driver and sometimes it burn. The only one that seems to hurt me is when rider start dragging app price "I don't pay more then dis dat for trip like this", I'll just b lookin lyk OYO is ur case.

I understood you. If you re not going to drag with them. You could ve educate them by opening the riders app and show proof with the estimated price. Simply letting them go will make it seems right and it can cause a bigger quarrel BTW them and another driver who's phone display the correct price.

I picked someone about 3months ago and on getting to her destination, she claims the fare displayed on my phone was too high that she has being takingTaxify from banana island to kilo, surulere for 1,200 naira. I smiled and reply; if your phone estimate is within that range I will collect only 1200 from you else the 2000naira as display.

She checked and even lite is not 1200... Riders can lie!

you spent that amount on your car, check urself brother I bet you were not nice to ur pilot and that's greed from your side. I tell you, no pilots in his or her right senses if been treated right will cost you this much but it's greedy partners like you that end up this way. I hope you are not looking for another pilot to control with your greedy style, if u do, this time oyo is the case. be nice bro and you will be happy.

You can't blame any partner for getting a bad driver. Its always tough for a good driver to go rogue. Good driver will rather return the car in good condition to the partner and source for a better offer.

To those doubting Thomas, when I posted my earnings, it was purely to motivate others and encourage you to start early because that's where the money is, I only work weekends and Monday morning, I'm in the office now relaxing but btw 5am and 8, I already clocked 10k and more if I add uber commission. I could have made more because I rejected airport trip to be in the office. I know there are some drivers that make way more than what I posted and somone called me lier.

The table rotates, I drove my civic this morning and I earn what I couldn't make last week Wednesday to Friday combine before 9:15am.

From then till now, I haven't gotten another request. Does that mean I am not doing it right? No. If you close from work and I m still below 12k does it mean you can do better? Yes and No

Riders determine when and where to make money on this platform. You are lucky today do not mean it will continue like that. Most importantly we should keep praying for more luck.

Bros let them use it, some riders can be wicked, imagine! Today, I pick a rider from Berger to 2nd round about on taxify 2100. I try to talk to this guys this thing can't be the real price, let them chill while I review, they don't even want to listen to me and one even said is too much, he usually take Ojodu to lekki 1400. Speechless me, I just let dem, while I use d money to buy fuel and feel like blowing home because that sh"t really low my moral. But such its life, its a dog eat dog world out dia.

I spot a charity driver, that fare is always about 4000 naira plus and u let go like that. You must be very nice then . Keep it up... Oworoshoki to 2nd roundabout is 2500 naira. Honestly the rider that said the trip is 1400 is very dubious.

These re the challenges you face when you are new.

I often pickup riders going to mall past 7pm or 9pm and once I get to the gate, I do ask them if they want me to end the trip. If they refuse, then I will let them know that I will collect the flat rate to be paid when coming out of the mall or they come down here

Imagine, doing a #400 trip to circle mall from victory park and the rider expect me to pay at the exit gate in the mall. It's not possible naw
