help guys my hp desktop(win 7) time always keep going wrong every time i correct it, i have changed the cmos battery but its still the same
its important i have the correct time due to the nature of work i do

This is mostly a VGA problem, i have experienced it my self.
once it goes to sleep it doesn't display again until u reboot it, if this is d case, what u should do is download d VGA driver for that system that is compatible with the new windows, or u could just go to the power option and set the "Put computer to sleep" option to never n the rest.

The company where i work have a dell desktop 780 optiplex on xp recently the computer keeps rebooting on the windows xp loading screen then i formatted to windows 7 now it randomly shuts down after some hours of usage. But the funny thing is that it doesn't really shut down it acts like its on sleep mode i.e the power button light still stays on, dvd drive still operates, fan still rolls every thing is like its working but it never comes back on.
It is not the monitor cause at that point i tested it with a second monitor and nothing comes up until i do do a hard restart that is i unplug the power cord.
I have also formatted the PC again and is still the same.
Please help i need to get this PC working

Hello brother, I know how it feels to use an epileptic network and everyone expects you to make it work cos u're the IT guy. Well let's get down to biz, the first step would be to access signal strength of your provider; I know for sure that Spectranet is crappy in festac, if it's a signal issue, you could get a directional antenna to help boast your signal. You can find them everywhere, google rapid bts, on even on nairaland they have some cool products.

Secondly, you might need to check the router configuration and Find out if you have a bandwidth limit set, if yes then remove the restrictions also u might need to check hardware defects and ensure that the firmware isn't going crazy.

If all above fails, it will be worthwhile to try a different service provider like the guy above said try Swift they have better network coverage.

I am working for a company in festac as an IT administrator pls i need help on the best internet broadband that will service our whole company (just one flat) including office setup at different locations without any interruptions.

We make use of spectranet router/modem which is currently failing use keeps disconnecting systems and range is not good enough i would like for someone to recommend one for me even if it may mean adding an additional device to the modem.
