Family of 3, we did biometrics on Dec 14 and 15 and we all got decision mails yesterday Jan 7. Hopefully you get your decision mail by Monday.

Well-done every one for helpful information provided on this platform. I was denied CAS by my school for January intake after meeting all their condition of offer, including payment of 50 percent payment of school fees and providing TB certificate. Their reason was that I have high refusal record with the immigration. Please kindly advice on my next step of action and also how can I correct my TB certificate since the school address is already on it. For the school fees, they had already sent me a refund application form to fill which I had done already. Am really down thinking of next action. I really want to join January or February intake. I have all the requirements ready.

Apply for February intake or wait till May,I will advise you not to declare your refusal to schools but u most declare all refusal wen applying for visa

I need clarification on the date to input as the visa expiry days for my spouse. He hasn't gotten his visa yet and while filling the IHS part it requested for his visa expiry date which I used his course end date but the total I have is lesser than what hubby paid. Hubby was charged $1320.44 while I am been charged $999.56.
Should I go ahead with that?

Some say is better to pay it like that,but I didn't want to take any risk so I calulated it like dis
12 months+4 extra month =16months.... the extra 4months on your visa

Hello gurus in the house, please I have an urgent situation that requires clarification.

My hubby is the main applicant and as at the time of his application, I wasn't feeling to well and couldn't help out filling his form. The agent who helped to process the admission (for free) was the one that filled the application. I made IHS and visa payment for him yesterday which I shared here. Although, I went through the application but I had an oversight on a particular info

We intend travelling together which the agent indicated on the form but she filled the school's address on where he will be staying and the other question about if he would be staying somewhere else, she clicked No.
I am about submitting my own and the kids application and I am confused as to what to fill in that segment.

Do I fill the schools address on where we will be staying and also on the other part state that Yes that we will be staying somewhere else?
I am stuck at this point because I need to conclude the application tonight.

Please help out if you've experienced such

The application and you can go ahead and fill yours but make sure you explain in the empty space that you've already made hotel reservations on Airbnb where you, hubby and your child will quarantine which you will confirm the payment once your visa is approved,then will move to another accommodation afterwards,you can write dis on the child application too

Bro Studio flat will be too small for a family of 4. You can go for 1 bedroom flat but looking at your daughter of 5yrs,is advisable you go for 2bedroom flat just because of privacy. The difference between the prices of 1&2 bed flat can be less than £100 if you can search properly.But have it in mind that most flats are not bills inclusive.

Collection from DHL office at NAHCO: 31st December

DHL received my travel document from TLS at about 6pm and tracker shows it was received in Lagos at 7:44am but for whatever reason, they didn't bring it to me. I called their customer care number around 430pm and the lady that answered said its already at their NAHCO office and will be delivered on Monday. I ended the call and went straight to their office. Though I arrived after closing hour, I was able to get my passport and visa.

I'm headed to Staffordshire University, anyone going to Staffordshire or Kelee?

Yes you can but you need to check with the letting agency. Any apartments you see, ring them and tell them you have a kid. Not all letting agent will reject you. Which location do you intend to stay. Check Zoopla.co.uk or go through private Landlord if you have any.

1) Yes
2) Most Landlords or Letting agency will not allow 2couples with kids each to share a 2 bedroom flat because it will be overcrowding.
Also not all 2 Bedroom flat has double bedrooms. In a case where the other bedroom is a medium/single one, it will be difficult for a couple and the kid to live in.
If each couple can afford a Studio /1 bedroom flat each then go for it and if not search for a Shared apartment with a Double room and see if the Landlord is happy to take in couple with a kid. All the best.

Write to your school,my school will be resuming 18th January but last enrollment has been extended to 8th Feb and that is not all ,tuition deposit payment has been extended to 18th Jan too. Most schools are flexible now cos of the recent event

1. Yes you Don't have to pay 11,700. try and upload all d documents yourself
2.i'm not sure of which Exchange rate they use at which TLS center but is usually around 150k or less

You shouldn't bother about these things as they are easily obtainable here. Haven't seen bournvita in a long while but milo is aplenty, you can get in African stores and some grocery stores like Iceland and Tesco at around £3.50. If you're into chocolates, you can try Morrisons 400g hot chocolate which gives Cadbury chocolate (400g for about £3) a run for its money even though it's cheaper at 95p. You can also try Stockwell chocolate (375g at 88p) which is good but not quite as good as the Morrisons chocolate.
