tungamaje: “She has been involved in love affairs with young men in the church...I hustled from mkokoteni (cart) pushing and we slowly bought the plot after we took some loan from a local bank,” read the suicide note.
O my God, so establishing a church is a business enterprise over there too? I thought it's only here in Nigeria Lol! It is an African thing I guess. |

Tajmahal1000: Some of you guys on Nairaland are damn too stupid! Must every issue be reduced to partisanship?
If you had a brain, you should have asked people (like me) who live and work on that axis.
Everything the police said about horrendous traffic when that club, Quilox, is open, is 100% correct!
Several times on Monday mornings, inbound traffic to Lekki (from V/I) is always blocked due to the indiscriminate parking of cars by night crawlers at Quilox, who are always there till well into the morning, as late as 9am!!!
Only three weeks ago, I asked a friend, a top gun in Lagos State Government, how (and why) the government gave a permit to a nite club on that very busy road (the main link road to the Admiralty Toll Plaza inward Lekki) and near a major bank! Wow! They club till 9am in the morning? Damn! I thought that was a myth. Something definitely needs to be done about that. |

SoNature: Calm down...As an Igbo guy, I live in Lagos
The fact is that the Yorubas dominate the tech industry in Nigeria
Lagos is the most powerful state in Nigeria
Most of the smartest Nigerians live here
If the Igbos hadn't come to Lagos in our droves to compete for opportunities, the Yorubas will be running everything in the corporate world. Hausa/Fulani cannot stand them in a competitive environment.
Even at that, the Yorubas still lead the tech industry
Nigeria must continue to encourage positive competition... that's how a country grows
Bravo to them! Tripple gbosa for you. Lovely unbiased comment. |

Yes you provide upkeep but what about respect? Is she your partner or just sex mate. There is no excuse for cheating. It is wrong in every ramifications. So don't crate a crack on the wall of your home Hmm |

Bleiz: Unfortunately, that individual didn't want to respect your own choice Because she is ignorant. She would respect mine if she knew any better. I can live with that. You know we are in Naija na...where religious people are taught from small to believe non religious people worship the devil. It is very hard to erase that belief from the mind. |

If he shits, na front page, if he coughs na fp, na wetin sef? If all is well with Davido, the least he can do is to enjoy his life peacefully without tormenting others to frustration as if he is the only one favoured. If you like, quote me. Truth is we have a lot of poor and frustrated youths in the country filled with a lot of hate, anger and envy, just progress small from your normal hustle and you’re already labeled, few people will understand this.
I was just watching the video of the church being burnt, I ain’t even religious or nothing but see the zeal people who might not even have a roof over their heads burning a property worth millions, poor man mentality Damn! You took the words out of my mouth. |
