I am about to graduate with BSc Human Anatomy from the University of Port Harcourt. I'm considering Direct Entry to Medicine this year. I just did my project defence 2 weeks ago. Please does RSU accept Direct Entry to medicine? If they do, what does it take ? Would you advise me to stay in Uniport or to go to RSU instead?
Can I register for Direct Entry with Awaiting Results? Please help me. Thank you

Hello everyone! I'm about to graduate from Human Anatomy Uniport. My GPA would be close to first class, about 4.4something, or at worst 4.2 as my project defence will be at the end of this month.

1. If I apply to the same school I graduated from, would it increase my chances of getting admitted?

2. Can I put awaiting results if my certificate is not out by then?

3. What GPA would I need to have to realistically get in?

4. How many people does uniport normally take for DE to Medicine. Like what's the range.... Between what and what?

5. What's the process like? After I apply for DE through JAMB what next?

6. Is there a chance that they can give me another course like Physiology or Pharmacy if I don't get medicine?

7. What about RSU? They just started their medical school. What do you think about applying there? Can I put first and second choice for DE just like JAMB?

We played this game in our dorm at school. Only boys were in the dorm. There was no sexual dare at all. People were dared to drink urine, take lashes from everybody in the room with a belt. Sha, it was just childish stupidity and maybe wickedness.
If you refuse to do the dare, you would have to pay a plate of Indomie to everybody in the room, and Indomie was our favorite food in school.

What I have been trying to understand is how the Nursery 2 pupils were able to read all these things and answer the questions. Or did someone read it to them?

I was having a discussion with a friend, and the issue of speaking in tongues came up. I told him that I have doubts concerning this because I believe that the Bible says that the tongues the apostles spoke in were real languages and not unintelligible things like I hear today. I said I believe that not every one can speak in tongues and most people were faking it.

He started telling me that me beliefs were false because according to that final chapter in Mark, one of the signs that follow the people who believe is that they will speak in new tongues. His views placed christians who don't speak in tongues as some kind of lower level christians because they have failed to unlock some inborn power that they have, which can only be unlocked by speaking in tongues.

But what about Paul's question in 1 Corinthians 12; do all speak with tongues? In fact, doesn't Paul's whole teaching on spiritual gifts in 1 Corinthians 12, give the impression that these gifts are given as the Holy Spirit deems fit, and we are supposed to compliment each other with our gifts, for the total edification of the body of Christ?

Can I get your opinions on speaking with tongues?

The Op didn't ask for fanboys to come defending their favourite languages.

@Op, Its not a waste to time learning JS. In fact in the course of your career you would learn many languages depending on your needs. Languages are just tools and the knowledge is always transferable. In fact, you would probably learn you 4th language in just a single day.

You need JS for the web. Modern web apps which you're trying to build are build with mostly Javascript, the days of templates and stuff are over.

Your web app still needs a backend server which is where your python skill(Flask, Django, Fastapi) comes in. You can build your server in any of those, and even with more languages than you can count, including Javascript, Java, C#, Ruby, Php.... it's a long list.
What you choose to build your server with is totally your choice, these battles about best or not is rubbish. Unless you're looking to learn market trending frameworks to get employed, then I propose you ignore the fanboyism and build with whatever you find most pleasant.

Anyway, go ahead and learn JS for your frontend application. Then decide on your backend and eventually get your app done!.

Good evening everybody!
I started learning Python a couple of months back, and I have made good progress. I started learning because I have an idea for a web app for my department, and I would like to launch it for them before we graduate.
After I had finished the Python basics and started studying Flask, someone told me that to make a web app, I would need HTML, CSS and Javascript, so I went to brush up myself in HTML and CSS since I took courses on them a few years ago.
Now, I'm about to start Javascript, but I'm wondering if it is necessary since it is a scripting language, and Python can do same. Should I just continue studying Flask, or should I take a break and complete my Javascript course?

Last time I posted, I talked about how I was wondering if it would be possible to code on a tablet. Today, I bought a laptop to learn python. It's a hp compaq with 3GB RAM and 2.53 processor. Someone told me that I needed to have at least 4GB to enjoy coding, but this was what I could get, and I have already installed python and PyCharm with no issues.
I remember in an earlier post, when I mentioned SoloLearn and someone talked about how there are YouTube channels to help me learn better. Please if you know any channel I can follow, I will e glad if you recommend to me.
Also, if you know any book I can download, I will appreciate too.

P/S: I already bought a python course on Udemy, but I'm yet to start, and I wonder if it would take me very far.
