patches689: Do I need to explain why I highlighted that part of your post?
Ok, you are pretty dense, so i will:
- Boko Haram, literally means death to western education - has a history of attacking schools - school in question is in a contested area - the state not providing protection
Clown.
Also, lets just take a second to consider the utter incompetance of the Nigerian military that allows a group of 400 men to rove around the countryside undetected. If the military was worth its salt, the village, school and its girls would've been inaccessible. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by ThaVluit: 3:30pm On Oct 06, 2014 |
agaugust: ...because there is nothing much to boast about 400 heavily armed men kidnapping 200 teenage school girls who had no protection, it's pure cowardice not bravery, isn't it?
There are hundreds of Nigerian women soldiers in the war zones, why don't Boko Haram go kidnap those ones
Mumu. . The military was supposed to be their protection. That's why you shouldn't say much. |

MikeZA: At its initial stages the BH insurgency was supposed to be a police and intelligence agencies fight.
1. They failed badly!!!! A. BH become stronger fighting conventionally.
2. The military are failing, even if they win.
B. BH has shown it can sustain an asymmetrical war.
3. Focused is now on crashing BH conventional fighting capabilities.
And more and more and more and more and more!!!!!!!!! True man. The state of emergency's supposed to end soon. |

lezz: i think Nigeria is different from the aforementioned countries. It is more of a political and ethnic complexities rather than military capabilities. Former US ambassador to Nigeria Walter C. is of the opinion that the Nigerian army is being compromised from within. There's a difference between a "military" and an "army". If the Nigerian "military" is compromised from within, then the issue is very much that of "military capabilities". |

Centrifude: They really need to honour that man hey, I'm glad that their Government didn't dismiss his death as propaganda.
"There's no greater form of honour or glory than death while being of service to your people and your country" On the other hand, I understand where the Nigerian military comes from. They are used to their soldiers abandoning post and mission and fleeing at the first sign of trouble. They refuse to believe this is their own man. If he had cut and run into Cameroon, then they'd accept that he's their officer; and then proceed to charge him with something. By the way, amnesty international rejects the death penalty imposed on Nigeria's mutiny soldiers. This military really knows how to build morale...not. |

Centrifude: Henry when it comes to deception I give you an A+ 400 really you expect me to being that, that's sound like your own personal estimation, don't lie to us dude. Here's a link that says you're lying, your people quickly buried on the battlefield I assume that's to hide to actual numbers which proves that N.A is losing a lot more men than its claiming. The worst part about this is that none of these claims are made by a crazy journalist who was not even on the battlefields or some beat up commanders trying to bet back their pride, but actually these claim are made by your own soldiers dude your own troops are telling the media that their comrades are being buried in shallow graves to hide the truth. And yet you guys have the balls to claim that S.A is hiding 37 bodies, lol hahahahahahahaha wow SANDF is very transparent when it comes to revealing the truth about our dead soldiers including the ones killed in the most screwed up and careless accidents, we honour them all, and we never leave them behind and we don't prevent their families from taking or seeing their bodies once they get back home. http://cananusa.org/index.php/campaigns/news/627-war-against-boko-haram-nigerian-soldiers-say-they-are-ill-equipped-betrayed-by-commanders-authorities-in-abuja.html Loud it. In any case, wing commander Hedima is not a case of publicity downplayed. It's case of identity denied. |

agaugust: Bwhahaha
Nigerian navy has capacity to patrol the waters of both South Africa and Egypt at the same time.
In the whole of Africa, only the Nigerian navy has blue water warships that has the range sail completely around the whole continent if Africa without stopping anywhere to refuel, the two ships are NNS Thunder and NNS Okpabana. South African navy Valour frigates CANNOT match those two NN OPVs of Nigeria, SAN frigates will run dry of fuel in Gulf of Guinea and you will soon be begging Nigeria for help.
What you buffoons don't know is that your Valour frigates have fuel to only reach West Africa and return home WITHOUT DOING ANY CIRCULAR PATROL because if your shiny warships try that patrol, they will run out of diesel in Gulf of Guinea and start begging Nigeria for free 50 Litre jerry cans of diesel to go back home.
I am still waiting to see the miracle South African navy will use to patrol West Africa when NONE of her warships or submarines has enough range to travel to up west and return home south without begging for fuel along the journey.....Fake force projection in action....I am waiting for my time to laugh.....South African navy, come up to West Africa I dare you! Na area boys black jerry can we go take dash you fuel and we go put groundnut oil mix am, all ya ship engine go knock for wharf Tin Can at Apapa
. Lol Nigeria patrolling the Mediterranean with their play-play boats. Let's not even worry about Israel, Turkey, Libya, Syria, Egypt, Greece and others. Who the hell are they? |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by ThaVluit: 3:47pm On Oct 01, 2014 |
agaugust: Gulf of Guinea is NOT Nigeria, 350km from Lagos into the Atlantic ocean is what belongs to us.
If you are outside that Zone, we don't care, international maritime law gives the whole world the right to play around free ocean zones.
So, have fun with your scarce diesel fuel
. It still should be looked after by "the regional giant", Nigeria. But the "regional giant" cannot even look after Maiguduri. So, brother SA will come help, ok? Why don't you have some more gari to celebrate the independence day? |
